The technique isn't perfect right now. The key of stage 1 is the same as the key of stage 2. That is a flaw in our foundation and affects everything we build on top.
A simple change in a stage could cause everything to collapse!
But compared to the connectivity of the first iteration. The quality of these stages have actually improved. Although there may be less insights, laws, and rules.
There also may be less forbidden knowledge and rituals.
I fully expect this technique to fall in quality as we continue. This 'tracing' back of the technique took us over 200 stages just for a few stages to overlap in the past. But now, we are only on stage 15 this time. Yet, everything is falling into place.

I didn't end up dropping '我绑架了时间线'/ 'I kidnapped the timeline'. I've read around to chapter 60 and I have to say. The narrator is growing on me and I don't mind it now. Not only that, but it turns out there was a good reason the MC couldn't view his death the second time around. It turns out that it actually varies and there was a good reason because of the plot.
I am liking the story so far! But still too early to rate it.
