A girl, thirteen-years in age, eleven-years old in physique. With short black hair and a scar under her left eye. It’s common for her to be mistaken as a boy due to her tomboyish attitude. Her name was, Kisara. She was the unofficial leader for the girls among the street urchins. She’s the one who ensured no girls were mistreated in the gang, and considering the amount of prepubescent boys in the gang, the one who ensured no girls got sexually abused.
There were only a few boys in the gang that she respected. One of them was D’aka, the gang’s muscle and protector. Personally, she was not fond of Big John nor Cooper. While they were smart, she considered them slimy. Especially Big John; she could tell he was looking at some of the girls with perverted eyes. If D’aka didn’t exist, she knew for a fact he would’ve sold the girls to some whorehouses.
Tonight was a strange night however. One of Cooper’s lackeys gathered everyone to meet, they said it was very important. What was so important to gather all of them in a single spot? Kisara was dubious. She suspected that John and Cooper might sell all of the kids into slavery and run away with the profits.
Kisara armed herself, preparing for the worst. Just in case, she armed all the older girls in her clique, briefing them for a worst case scenario. Kisara did not like the atmosphere of the night. The city was far busier than usual, too many guards running around, looking very alert, unlike their usual lazy selves. There was a bad feeling in the air. Hopefully, D’aka was still alive.
Kisara and her girls almost reached the meeting spot. She ordered her best shooters to occupy the rooftop. If this was a normal gathering, most of the members wouldn’t mind if some of them were hanging out on the rooftop. There was not much space on the ground floor anyway.
Kisara and three of the older girls walked into the meeting spot, armed and ready. But then they stopped. There was a pungent smell in the air… A smell that made them drip cold sweats. Whatever that smell was, it was bad.
Kisara pulled her knife and flintlock out. The other girls also did the same without order. It was their instinct speaking. Kisara braced herself forward.
“There you are Kisara. You can put your weapon down. Nothing dangerous is gonna happen… I think.” That detestful voice was John’s, the proclaimed leader of the Street Urchins. If she got any say, it should be D’aka.
D’aka was sitting next to John. He looked … dejected? His eyes were puffy, like he just cried his heart out… D’aka, crying?
But what surprised Kisara the most was the boy, a black skinned boy, who was half buried on the ground? Near him was the innocent trio, a young boy Kisara was fond of because he was treating the two girls who hung out with him like sisters. They were chilling near the half buried boy, which Kisara now sure was the source of the pungent smell.
“John… who is he?”
“Oh him? He’s Regulus. The reason for our meeting today.”

“Ok, so is he a new member? Why is he half-buried?” Kisara was perplexed. Was the new member being bullied openly by John? With D’aka watching, ignoring even. Heck, was it even possible to bully that boy? Kisara could not explain it, but just by looking at him…He looked like he could take out all of them without even trying.
“Apparently he likes it that way. Don’t question it too much. You’ll hurt your head. I know I did.” The usually confident John sounded tired and defeated.
“John, all of us are here.” Cooper came from behind her. Normally, Cooper had a very punchable face. But tonight, Kisara couldn’t help but feel bad when looking at Cooper’s face.
“Good. Everyone! Listen Up!” John projected his voice. Everyone, including the girls Kisara posted on the rooftop could not help but to pay attention. “This guy is Regulus. He’s our newest member. Remember him, and don’t piss him off. That’s it.”
Everyone was flabbergasted by the announcement. It was straight to the point. Too straight even.
“What do you—” Kisara was about to question John, but he was interrupted by an unexpected person.
“Well, You can ‘Piss’ on him.” Grigori let out a dad joke. The innocent trio let out a hearty laugh. Even D’aka let out a faint laugh. Meanwhile John looked done.
“I’m sure you all had questions. Especially you, Kisara.” John said wearily. “Do you hear anything about Burhan gang today?”
“Yeah, I heard that we got problem with them… and that the entire gang was killed today. They’re just rumours though, I’m not sure how right they are.” Kisara looked at Cooper for affirmation. She might not like him, but he’s the best in the gang when it came to information gathering. To her surprise, Cooper looked terrified.
“About that. The rumours are true. Regulus the one who killed the gang member and started the problem.” Kisara and the rest of the Urchins were surprised when they heard what John just said flatly.
“He’s also the one who killed all the Burhan Gang… Including Krieg.”
Everyone was dumbfounded when they heard it. All of the street urchins looked at Cooper for confirmation. Cooper and his clique just nodded meekly when faced with all the questioning stares. “It’s true.”
“What the hell is he John?” Kisara asked loudly. She couldn’t believe a single thing she just heard. But then, an unexpected person answered.
“He’s Regulus.” said Azali proudly, showing off her newest bestest friend.
Everyone was tongue tied. Then someone unexpected spoke up.
“Me.Regulus.”
Regulus himself spoke up. The innocent trio started to chant Regulus’ name happily.
Kisara was at her limit with the absurd situation. Cooper did not want to even gaze at Regulus' general direction. D’aka looked disinterested. Meanwhile John just stared blankly at Kisara. “Told you, don’t think too much about it.”
Kisara rubbed her finger on her forehead. Her head hurts.
Regulus popped out from his burrow. Showing his naked self. Most of the girls covered their eyes, while the boys were intrigued by Regulus’ weird looking feet — and his glorious black pee pee.
“Younglings.Hungry?”
Regulus gestured at the younglings.
“Herd.Food.”
Hearing the word hungry and food, John and Cooper started to look concerned. Meanwhile D’aka’s emotion didn’t change at all. He still seemed disinterested.
Regulus pees on the hole. It was a perfect straight piss, no splits. All the boys were amused. The girls squealed. Kisara’s jaw-dropped.
Rumble Rumble
There was an earthquake. All the kids except the innocent trio were scared. Even D’aka was jolted awake from his day dream.
“Everyone take cover!!!” Kisara, John, and D’aka yelled at the kids. Their main concerns were the kids on the rooftop. If the buildings crumbled, they all might die. After what almost a minute, the rumbling stopped.
Pop, Pop, Pop.
“Kiii~”
A bunch of Molrrets dug out from the street, and some of the buildings’ walls. All of them carrying some sort of meat, roots, and even mushrooms. They brought food.
“Eat!” screamed Regulus joyfully, grinning from ear to ear. Everyone was befuddled by the situation … except for Eda, Grigori, and Azali.
They couldn’t wait for dinner and some sweet Molrrets’ piss.
