**Icerite Magic Academy, Learning and Education Building.**
This building serves as a multi-disciplinary learning facility, catering to the educational needs of a vast number of students. Unlike traditional isoted towers, its design incorporates a series of horizontal expansions, creating a spacious structure that offers ample room for both learning and activities.
The intricate arrangement of internal walls divides the building into more refined sections. Corridors, courtyards, beams, terraces, and staircases are designed to resemble modern artistic ndscapes such as canyons, forest trails, habitats, cliffs, and open-air theaters, presenting a miraculous indoor environment.
**Fourth Floor: Magitech Research Area.**
A unique tiered lecture hall here resembles a massive artificial valley, interwoven with forest elements. Natural light streams in through skylights, creating a refreshing and distinctive learning atmosphere.
In this expansive cssroom, the tiered seating is nearly full. Unlike the smaller, specialized csses typical of the Sage Academy, this course, *"Introduction to the Lineage of Magic,"* is a required subject for both Sage Academy and Magitech Academy students. As a result, the course adopts a rge lecture format, bringing together students from both academies.
At the back of the cssroom, Lanqi Wilford and Huberrian Ansar sat with a few empty seats around them.
Rumors about the "Capital's Three Tyrants" had already started spreading across the campus in recent days—
The most powerful enforcers in the history of the Student Council, who, on their first mission, destroyed the clubroom of the *Fighters' Soul Team,* leaving the usually calm Zirviny senior red-faced with anger, chasing after them in fury, only to end up crying in frustration.
"Truly befitting of the half-demon and the Wilford family. They look even less human here than they do in the Shadow World..."
Many first-year students from the Magitech Academy, seeing them for the first time, whispered in awe, lowering their voices to discuss.
**At the back, on the naturally crafted wooden seats.**
Huberrian, as always, was focused on her studies.
What was rare to see, however, was Lanqi not appearing sickly or lethargic. He, too, was deeply engrossed, frowning in concentration as he listened to the lecture.
This was the only required course that didn’t torment Lanqi, as it primarily covered important theories about magic and magitech, without requiring practical spellcasting.
The lecturer was someone both Lanqi and Huberrian were familiar with—Teresa, the kind teacher who had coordinated their participation during the third round of entrance exams.
It seemed that Teresa was about to touch on a particurly significant topic, as even Lanqi straightened his posture slightly.
"There are thirty-two *Primal Stes* in this world," Teresa began, her voice clear and compelling. "Each one represents the pinnacle of epic-tier Magic Cards, corresponding to the apex of a specific type of magic."
"But unlike ordinary epic cards that fade into history, the *Primal Stes* are eternal and can be passed down through the ages!"
Standing at the semi-circur gray wooden podium, Teresa raised her arm to point at the magical projection screen, which dispyed an image of a ste along with its detailed description.
---
**[Primal Ste - Wind]**
*Category:* Equipment Card
*Grade:* Orange Epic
*Rank:* 5
*Passive Effect:* The Primal Ste cannot be destroyed. It can only be soul-bound to a living being in the current world, with a maximum of one binding per individual. Grants comprehensive enhancements to all wind-reted magic, martial techniques, equipment, and summons. Upon the death of the soul-bound individual, the ste’s binding is released.
*Note:* All things in this world will eventually be reborn, and the wind will forever sweep across this nd.
---
The image dispyed a thin, ancient floating ste with a streamlined design and faint magical engravings, as if narrating stories spanning millennia. Its texture appeared smooth and warm, with a deep and rich hue shaped by the passage of time.
The intricate magical inscriptions, with their subtle spiraling patterns, resembled the trails of stars streaking across the night sky—brilliant yet elusive, containing wisdom and power so profound that even the end of the world could not erase them.
"This particur ste, used as an example, is the *Primal Ste - Wind,* held by High Priest Loren of the Church of the Goddess of Fate. It seems like a divine creation, or perhaps a relic left behind by ancient sages, with clear traces of magitech modifications," Teresa continued.
"For the magitech artisans among you, simply observing the ste's physical form can greatly enhance your understanding of creating simir magical artifacts."
Her words rippled through the css like a stone dropped into a pond, stirring a wave of discussion among the students.
Teresa stood calmly at the podium, smiling as she took a sip from her water cup to soothe her throat.
The open design of the cssroom, with its spacious and broad perspective, allowed for a more seminar-like atmosphere. Students were encouraged to voice their questions and thoughts, fostering active discussions rather than passively receiving lectures.
At this moment, conversations buzzed among the students seated below the podium.
"So that’s why one of our graduation tasks in the Magitech Academy is to seek out a ste holder and gain the opportunity to observe it!"
"Some uppercssmen even tried to take a shortcut by going straight to the Sage Academy to ask Dean Loren for a chance to study his *Primal Ste - Wind!*"
However, as the Guardian of the Hetton Kingdom and the High Priest of the Church of the Goddess of Fate, Dean Loren was far from idle. He couldn’t simply dispy his most crucial Magic Card like an exhibit for students to study.
Instead, Loren would assign students significant public service tasks for the Hetton Kingdom or the Church of the Goddess of Fate. If they succeeded, he would reward them with the opportunity to observe the ste.
Simirly, magitech artisans and even teachers from allied nations and schools visited Dean Loren each year, and he would present them with simir fair challenges.
Of course, some ste holders were solitary, cold, or unreasonable individuals who outright ignored any visitors seeking to learn from them.
"Just owning a *Primal Ste* makes someone a highly respected and celebrated figure. I wish I could have one… By the way, Huberrian, do you know of any other *Primal Ste* holders besides Dean Loren?"
Lanqi sighed with a smile as he casually chatted with Huberrian beside him.
The two often exchanged idle banter these days. Outside of csses, they would also hang out with Frey, finding the Student Council Room a spacious and comfortable pce to rex.
However, Lanqi’s question seemed to touch a nerve for Huberrian.
Her eyes flickered with a trace of sorrow before she quickly averted her gaze, as if trying to hide her feelings from Lanqi.
She simply lowered her head and nodded.
