Episode 46: Mountain Day Mishap! Nezuka Runs Away!!

The episode begins with the sun shining brightly over the mountains, the Crystal Brawlers excitedly setting up for the celebration of Mountain Day. The festival is full of colorful banners, delicious food stands, and people from all over coming together to celebrate. The brawlers, including Kouchu, Shauna, and Sakuro, are in high spirits as they prepare to enjoy the day.

Kouchu: grinning “I can’t believe it’s finally Mountain Day! We’ve got food, games, and great weather ahead of us. This is going to be awesome!”

Shauna: enthusiastically “Yeah, it’s been a while since we’ve had a break. I can’t wait to eat all that festival food.”

Sakuro: rubbing his hands together “And I’m definitely going to win that climbing contest this year. They’ve got a new challenge that looks tough.”

Mouselette, excited by the prospect of fun, zooms past them on her skates, leaving the group behind.

Mouselette: shouting back to them “You guys take your time. I’m going to skate my way down the mountain to check out the festivities!”

The brawlers watch as Mouselette skates down the hill, weaving through festival-goers. At first, everything seems fine. The wind rushes past her as she speeds along, her small form zipping gracefully through the path.

Shauna: laughing “Look at her go! Mouselette’s got the right idea!”

Kouchu: chuckling “Yeah, she’s really fast on those skates. But I hope she’s careful…”

But suddenly, Mouselette’s skating path starts to veer off course. She loses control as she approaches a group of festival stands, knocking over food, decorations, and even a few people who are holding balloons and souvenirs. Chaos erupts as everything begins to tumble down the hill in a messy, uncontrollable cascade.

Kouchu: eyes widening “Mouselette, look out!”

Shauna: shouting “Stop, Mouselette! You’re going to cause an accident!”

But it’s too late. Mouselette, unable to stop, crashes into a food stall, knocking over a mountain of cakes and snacks. The festival-goers scream as they scramble to get out of the way. Balloons pop, and food splatters everywhere, ruining the celebration in mere moments. Finally, Mouselette crashes into a pile of party decorations, knocking over a massive banner.

Sakuro: groaning “Oh no… what did she do?”

The brawlers rush to the scene, but the damage is done. The atmosphere is tense as everyone watches the ruined festival around them. Mouselette stands in the middle of the mess, looking guilty and heartbroken.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

Kouchu: sighing, upset “Mouselette, what happened? We told you to be careful!”

Shauna: frustrated, arms crossed “You completely ruined the festival! The food is gone, the party’s ruined, and now everyone’s upset!”

Sakuro: sternly “We should’ve kept an eye on you. This could’ve been avoided if you’d just slowed down!”

Mouselette’s ears droop as the brawlers, despite their concern, begin to scold her. The weight of the accident sinks in, and she looks down, feeling utterly defeated.

Mouselette: quietly “I didn’t mean to ruin everything. I just… I was having fun and wanted to skate. I didn’t think it would turn out like this…”

Kouchu, trying to console her, steps forward, but Mouselette pulls away, her voice trembling with frustration.

Mouselette: yelling “You guys don’t get it! You think I’m just a burden, don’t you? All I ever do is mess things up. You’ve never trusted me to do anything right. Maybe I’m just not good enough for you all!”

Shauna: taken aback “That’s not true, Mouselette. We care about you—”

Mouselette: interrupting, voice cracking “Then why do you always treat me like I’m the one who messes everything up? Why do I have to be the one who causes all the problems?”

Feeling hurt and upset, Mouselette turns and skates off, leaving the brawlers standing in the midst of the ruined festival.

Kouchu: calling after her “Mouselette, wait! Please!”

Shauna: shaking her head, exasperated “She’s gone… we messed up.”

Sakuro looks at the scene with a sigh.

Sakuro: regretfully “She just wanted to have fun. We shouldn’t have blamed her like that.”

Kouchu rubs his temples, frustrated with himself.

Kouchu: quietly “I know. But now she’s gone, and we need to find her before she does something else she’ll regret.”

The brawlers search for Mouselette, calling her name and looking everywhere, but there’s no sign of her. They travel up the mountain, hoping to find any clue about where she could’ve gone. They stop at a small clearing when they spot a shadowy figure in the distance.

  Shauna: squinting “Is that…?”

  Kouchu: shocked “It’s… Hunter Grai.”

The group stiffens as they see Hunter Grai standing at the edge of a cliff, looking down at the brawlers. Grai is flanked by his usual menacing presence, and his eyes glint with an unsettling smirk.

Hunter Grai: mockingly “Well, well. Look who’s come to play. You’ve been looking for something, haven’t you?”

Shauna: angrily “What do you want, Grai?”

Hunter Grai: laughing coldly “What do I want? You mean, what do I already have. Your precious Mouselette is in my possession now. You should’ve kept a better eye on her.”

  Kouchu’s eyes widen in disbelief.

Kouchu: shocked “What do you mean, you have Mouselette?! Where is she?!”

Hunter Grai: smiling sinisterly “She’s just fine… for now. But you’ll have to try much harder to get her back. If you even can.”

  ?

The brawlers exchange worried glances. The realization hits them hard—Mouselette is in the hands of Hunter Grai, and it’s up to them to rescue her.

Sakuro: gritting his teeth “We’re going to get her back. No matter what it takes.”

Shauna: determined “We need to find her quickly. We don’t know what Grai has planned for her.”

As they prepare to set out, Hunter Grai’s ominous words echo in their minds.

Hunter Grai: calling out as they leave “Be careful, Brawlers. You wouldn’t want to lose her… forever.”

With the weight of Grai’s threat hanging over them, the brawlers brace themselves for the difficult journey ahead. They must find Mouselette before it’s too late.
