Right after the day that the lighting system was proposed, was also the day that I was appointed as the "Acting Leader" for the proposed pn's development
To be fair, it was right of Elena to appoint me as I was the one who brought up the pn as well as I'm the only one who knows on how the system would work
A week has passed by and we're already 90% done with the preparations. We've set up the flow line for the main roads, the secluded areas, the storage and stall areas, and the resident areas
The only thing that we need to set up now is the flow for wall lighting in each borders. Which we also need to connect to the flow of the ground lighting
All of the wire flows in return, will get supplied in one flow line through the main source that is controlled within the headquarters of Sol Empire
There wouldn't be any shortages or failures in supplying light in all areas at once as all sub-sequent sources acts as a secondary source of the main source. Meaning that all the lights that are set up within the area is powered up through the sub-sequent sources, that is charged through the main source
So unless the main source is depleted, the sub-sequent sources should be able to supply all lighting without any problems
After the implementation of the system is completed, it should be easier to expand the system upon it...the only problem about it is how I should supply the main source
If I supply it with my "mana", I needed to be within the area to be able to resupply the main source. Not a viable solution as I don't intend to live here
Another option is to use "Emitting Ores" that Hikari mentioned, which acts as a "Mana Supplier" of some sort. With emitting ores, we don't need someone to resupply the main source when it gets depleted. We simply just need some emitting ores to do the job
Emitting Ores usually vary from colour one to another, but the ones that have bright green ores usually have the most mana within them. The least ones are colours red and white
I've seen some simir ores on that cave based on the description that Hikari gave me, but I haven't told him about it due to "her" being on there
Speaking of her, I hope she doesn't get mad at me for not showing these past few days, Hikari and Elena had been working alongside with me to develop the system that I barely had enough time to visit her
But now, after we're done with the implementations, hopefully by the next two days or so, I should be able to visit her
Since I'm pnning to go and try to use those ores if they're the ones I'm looking for...
"It's coming along nicely"
"Yeah. It took us a while, but now its coming all together"
I said to Hikari, as we looked at the map marked with all the areas that had wirings
"Great work you two, the residents are excited to see the results once the implementations are done"
"I hope they didn't get their hopes too high"
"Well if it does fail, I'll take full responsibility for it"
Elena said as she chuckled slightly
"As the leader of the Pilrs, I too share the responsibility of it failing"
"Could you please stop making me more anxious?"
They smiled at my statement
"Well since we're done for today, you two should spend your free time on somewhere else"
"Oh? Kind of early to finish today don't you think?"
"Well considering that we're almost done with the development, your highness is right to take a break just for today"
"Well if Hikari says so, then I wouldn't even argue"
Plus, this is the perfect time to go to that cave while its still early
"Thank you for all the trouble, really, Rui. We'll definitely make it up to you, one way or another"
"Hey, hey, don't thank me yet. We haven't made the system up and running"
"*Chuckles*, that may be right, but we couldn't come up of a better idea than you do. So as the acting ruler of Sol Empire. I, Elena Tremsworth, give my upmost gratitude to you"
Elena says, as she bowed her head deeply
"Likewise, I hope you take care of Mashiro and Lura while they're in here"
They nodded in unison as if that wasn't even needed to be mention
...
...
...
Just like always, I packed the stuff that I need and headed towards that cave
Fortunately, Lura and Mashiro is still out, training with the soldiers. Saved me the time to expin why I needed to go out again
...Otherwise, they would've followed me
...
Right as I entered the cave...
"I'm back!"
I said intuitively. I then headed towards the deepest part of the cave...
...
"...?"
Only then to find out that the crystal, that turned into transparent, now shattered into pieces...
...inside of the crystal, was no one to be found
"What...? Did she got out by herself?"
I looked at the shattered crystal, which was still stronger than ever
"She couldn't have broken it physically..."
Most likely she was able to break the crystal with some sort of magic? Makes the most logical sense to me if she was able to turn these boulders into these ores...
"..."
Seeing as she got out on her own, I had a mixed feeling of happiness and a slight of sadness
"At least she finally got out...but I didn't expect to not see her again so abruptly"
As I remember the moments that we shared together, it was as clear as day that I was also looking forward to everyday where I meet and hang out with her in this cave
The games we pyed, the stories I shared to her, the moments where I saw her rare sides, our slow development of knowing each other...
...
"It was fun while it sted, but I was even more happier to see you free once more..."
Although I wish I can see you again sometime...
...
"R-Right! I need to gather these ores to see if they're the ones anyway...right!"
With a bit of sadness on the side, I got my chin up, and get right onto the second agenda of me being here on this cave...
...
...
...
"...?"
Right after I was done collecting some ores, I noticed that something was odd
"What's with this ominous aura...?"
I looked around the pce to see no living beings on sight...
...yet the herbs started to wither, and the pce started to turn red
"...!"
There was no doubt, its the sign!
"What a bad timing! I need to go back now!"
Another Rare Crimson Moon is about to happen!
