Chapter 9: Stunned the Entire Room

Chapter 9: Stunned the Entire Room

The members of FOR also looked up in the midst of the commotion. When they saw the young man walking in, all of them were visibly surprised.

Under the shimmering lights, his tousled bck hair with natural yers cast a subtle shadow over his forehead. His beautifully shaped amber eyes sparkled like tiny stars in the sky, radiating effortless charm to every camera aimed at him. With refined features and a graceful neckline, he wore a crisp white suit that elevated his entire presence.

A single green bde of grass, tucked casually but deliberately into the breast pocket, added a touch of clever style. In his hand was an expensive gift box. He looked like a boy straight out of a manga, yet moved with the elegance of a prince from a fairytale.

Cary couldn’t help but curse inwardly as he set down his wine gss.

Who the hell is that? His looks and aura were absolutely top-tier. If he turned out to be the young master of some powerful family, fine—but if he was a new star in the entertainment industry, then FOR was in for some serious competition.

Even Lin Yan, normally calm and unbothered by the world, found himself gncing at the newcomer several times.

As the spotlight followed her down the carpet, whispers broke out around the hall. Ye Xian politely waved to the crowd.

Having been a superstar in her past life, she was completely at ease in the spotlight. Whether it was facing cameras or walking into high-profile events, she carried herself with poise and natural charisma. Even in the grandest settings, she showed no sign of nervousness.

After finishing her wave, her sharp eyes caught sight of three familiar figures standing in a corner.

  FOR. Her group.

They were her brothers—how could she not go over and say hello?

“Holy crap, is he walking toward us? Is he coming to pick a fight?”

Cary nudged Lin Yan with his elbow, looking ready to defend their turf.

Lin Yan said calmly, “Don’t overthink it. Maybe he just knows us and wants to say hi.”

But Jiang Wanze’s expression froze the moment he saw the tiny bck beauty mark under the youth’s left eye.

  It’s him?

Among the FOR members, Jiang Wanze—the leader—was the most striking, with golden hair and a tall figure. Lin Yan, graceful and gentle like jade, had recently dyed his hair a soft red for his concert tour. Cary was the flirtatious one, always dressed in fshy clothes to attract the dies.

Each of them had their own distinct style, making them easily recognizable.

Ye Xian was extremely gd she dyed her hair back before coming. Otherwise, if she stood with them now, it’d be a stoplight trio—red, yellow, and green.

She walked up to them and casually grabbed a gss of champagne from a passing tray. “You guys got here early.”

The moment she spoke, Cary nearly dropped his jaw, and even Lin Yan’s always composed face couldn’t hide his shock.

That familiar tone—that ease of speech, like she’d known them forever…

  Ye… Ye the tagalong?!

How the hell did he turn into this?!

From tacky street-style poser to elite young gentleman?

The difference was astronomical. What happened—did he get struck by lightning?

  “You—you’re… Ye the—Ye Xian?”

Cary stammered, still unable to believe what he was seeing.

Lin Yan’s normally serene expression had gone stiff.

Ye Xian raised one brow with a charming smirk. “Who else would I be?”

Their shock was fully within her expectations. What she hadn’t expected was Jiang Wanze’s reaction—he seemed to have recognized her immediately.

To be honest, Ye Xian still felt a bit awkward seeing Jiang Wanze again. After all, her very first day in this world had involved walking into the mess of her original self drugging him.

But… he hadn’t said anything about it these past few days. He didn’t confront her, didn’t bring it up, and didn’t call the police. Could that mean he didn’t take it to heart?

Maybe she should take the initiative to make peace and move forward. After all, she wasn’t going to make the same mistakes as the original Ye Xian.
