“Back huh? What did you do to Luna, you sadist.” Miyuki said. “Just punish her a bit, don’t see me like I just sold her to a sve trader. When her punishment time is over, she gets to sleep in this bed again.” I sat at the bed of Luna’s Inn room, tired after the sex with Aiko and Luna. “So, is there anything important when I’m gone?” “Remember Lady Eleanor, she and this town mayor invited you to the town hall tonight.” “When exactly?” “2 hours from now.”
Lady Eleanor is a kind woman from her action at the concealment toad cave, so I hope she’ll give me something in return, but if she doesn’t give me anything that would not be a problem too, I can't get too greedy with everything. “Hey Miyuki, since you’re a daughter of a conglomerate, do you have any tips when meeting important figures?” “You’re asking for my help now?” “This is an order. “So Hiroshi. What payoff?” Kato, the friendly monster hunter who greet me before we go into the toad swamp greet me.
“Ah, mr Kato.” “Just Kato, I’m not your employer, we’re fellow hunters. So, what do you mean by payoff.”
“Ahh, you’re kinda right about Miss Luna. She makes me sleep on the floor, and only use me as a carrier. But I’m gd that she actually train me, even if she do it so I can increase the number of my golems.”
“Ahh, that doesn’t sound worse than previous one.” Kato mention that Luna has a previous student before me. “Previous one?” I ask him. “Yeah, you don’t know? Luna has a student before that she treated like her butler, but that poor guy got too careless in a raid on the Relic Fly Nest 2 years ago and became their food.”
“Ahh, sorry to her it. How did Luna treat him?”
“She may not be the best master, she treat him like her servant and I heard she sometimes punch him in the stomach, but she’s really protective of him, even she grieve over his death.” I don’t know Luna has such past, did I too quick to judge her as an asshole? Well, maybe I think too far, she made me strip and sit on the floor before, no, no, she’s definitely an asshole now. “Maybe Miss Luna isn’t soo bad.” “Don’t say it, no matter how much she care for her student, she will toy with them. Wait, did she..” “Ah..no no, she said I wasn’t her type.” “Well, I don’t know if that’s a luck or bad luck, but anyway just be patient to her, she will soften after sometimes.” Kato left to do his quest after he gave me the advice. I don’t think she will soften to me Kato, after what I put her through, she will only try to blow my head off. “So, is there anything else I can help?” Maurice ask. “Ahh, but don’t make too much noises.” I whisper to him.
“Oh okay, what’s it?” “Lady Eleanor and the town mayor invite me to the townhall in two hours.” “Really? You’re really lucky, they may prize you with a magic item or a position.” “Yeah, but I don’t want to hope too much, or else I will be disappointed when none of that happens.” “Yeah, being too greedy will backfire, so why did you tell me this?” “I want to ask what kind of clothes I should wear to meet them?” “Just wear clean clothes, I doesn’t matter if you only wear white shirt and leather pants right now, they know you’re no aristocrat just wear it, but make sure you tidy yourself and don’t say anything that can offend them.” “Okay, thank you Maurice.”
I originally going to ask Maurice about a clothes shop recommendation, but he said that I don’t need some fancy and uncomfortable clothes, so I decide to go get some food at nearby shop. “Hello young man, what do you want? Please choose.” The shopkeeper show her goods, but I’m unfamiliar with any of this foods. “C..can you reccomend me a sweets?” “Sure, I recommend this honey date, they’re not too sweet and has unique taste. A bowl will worth 10 coppers.” “Okay, here’s the money.” 10 coppers is not a lot considering how much money Luna has. Here it goes, my first this world’s meal. I take a bite of the date, that’s been stuffed with crunched walnut, and gzed in honey. The taste is kinda weird, or it’s me that’s not familiar with medieval foods, maybe I’ll just use shops for foods, wait no, I can rely on shops forever, I need to get use to local live.
I after wandering for 2 hours, I go to the townhall. After showing my Monster Hunter ID, the guards let me in. The servants lead me to the guest room, in there was 2 red sofas with a table. I decide to sit at the sofa near the wall so I don’t need to turn back when Lady Eleanor and the mayor arrive. I waited for 10 minutes and no one has come through the door, could it be that Miyuki is just fooling me, but then the guard won’t let me in. Finally someone has enter the room, but it was not Lady Eleanor and definitely not the mayor because she wear knights armor, even though it only covers half of her body while the other half is either cloth or her exposed skin. That’s definitely not a protective armor but not as revealing as a bikini armor in eroge game. But her most prominent feature besides clothing, her red twintails or her red eyes are her sharp ears. That’s an ear of an elf, at least from what I know in fantasy stories.
