And so, Peter woke up just to find a strange blue screen
He was doubting his perception was he mad, did they stuff him into some sort of MMO, did he die or was this 'System Announcement really real. Now that he thought about it he didn't even know where he was. Everything felt too perfect the ground was too smooth, air to clean and his own body to young.
There was no flaw or irregularity everything seemed measured to provide for the average human being nothing seemed out of place. Nothing in this room was anything complex or something he had never seen before all of it was in some way relatable.
He decided to look for clues to his current situation but after looking for almost an eternity Peter couldn't find anything, so he interacted with this system.
PoV Peter:
"Wait there is a tutorial. What is going on?"
Am I going to become sort of game character? What should I even do? Should go around and kill rats or can I do what I want? Seems as if I also don't have a lot of choices or say in this matter, then I think I should go with "[Yes]".
"Menu? MENU! [Menu]" What is different just now I said [Yes] and [Menu] and it worked do I have to mean it? Does it have something to do with the intention or was it just my pronunciation? Why is this so different from what I am used to.
"[Status]"
Huh, so I am now I am Divine-human and a blank slate. Have I become something special and what is this [Divine-human]?
So, it is based on intent and this [Divine-neutrality] isn't special. Wonderful. And I guess this muting of my emotions is because of the tutorial and the strange room I'm in. Well at least I and probably the rest of humanity are blank slates as we are all Divine humans. So, I better start working on making myself distinguishable from the rest. But first, let's get this tutorial over with.
"[Quests]"
Nothing new there but does this description also work with quests as it did with my 'species' [A new start]
Huh, neat seems to work with everything in these blue boxes and it seems to have counted (Main) menu as its own menu. Seems like I have as much time as I'd like thanks System for the time stop. That now leaves me with World, Skills, Shop and special. I already have ideas what Skills and shop might entail based on the fact that this has influences from Game systems. But what do World and Special mean?
Well no use thinking about it now. I should better start with getting this new information from the System. What intrigues me more, well I already have some ideas what World could mean but I don't even have the slightest clue what Special might mean.
Then I'd take something that I already have some idea about "[World"]
[...]-> is a System command
Thanks for reading the first chapter where we are actually in the head of the MC.
There will be more chapters it's just that I don't have release schedule I will try to get one done and better my writing style but until then you have to keep up with my shortcomings
Ps. If you find anything typos or stuff like that I will try to correct them.
