This guy sent Tempestriax and Thalassorath to take him out earlier. If Oliver kills him now, Aegir’s got it coming.
But this giant Aegir’s level 17.
And as a giant, he’s probably stronger than your average level 17.
Oliver glances at his stat panel.

This stat panel’s nuts—almost every stat, except soul power, is 80,000 to 100,000 higher than Oliver’s.
Of course, raw stats don’t totally decide a fight.
If Oliver goes all-in, sacrifices his flesh, and uses the Authority of Creation, he might just take him down.
But winning would probably cost him something.
That’s why Oliver’s hesitating.
Plus, his whole goal wasn’t to kill this giant—it was to score items tied to the Water primal rune.
That goal? He’s already nailed it.
The thing Aegir pulled from his chest is called a Chaos Water Seed. It’s not just packed with Water primal runes—it’s got a hint of giant blood too.
This thing’s definitely gonna level up Oliver’s gem space.
Sure, it’s not as fast as Ymir’s flesh, but stuff like Ymir’s flesh is super rare—you can’t just stumble across it.
“My growth speed’s way past the giants’. Once I level up more, I can come back for revenge later…”
With that thought, while everyone’s still reeling from the shock, Oliver takes off.
“Big snake Stark actually survived and made giant Aegir pay a price!”
“Holy crap, this snake’s a beast! He’s gonna be the war god of our Basin!”
“Not just our Basin—bet he’s gonna be a big name in the nearby ones too!”
“So badass. From today, he’s my idol!”
The deities are buzzing with chatter.

Up in the sky, giant Aegir and his kid Thalassorath hear the crowd’s talk, their faces turning dark and sour.
Thalassorath, who was freaking out when Oliver eyed him for the kill, snaps back to his cocky self the second Oliver’s gone, even sounding confused.
“Father, why didn’t you take him out? After this fight, the water palace’s rep’s gonna tank—people’ll think you’re scared of him!”
He can’t help asking.
“Idiot! This snake’s strong. Even for me, killing him would cost something. But that doesn’t mean I’m letting him off,” Aegir says coldly.
“Remember, we’re giants. Our kin are everywhere in the chaos world, and we’re strong. Lately, hunting solo’s made folks forget we’re a clan.”
“Giants never need to act alone.”
Aegir’s eyes glint with icy light. “I’ll call up some kin to hunt down this snake who disrespected us.”
After leaving the water palace, Oliver hurries to toss the giant blood laced with Water primal runes into his gem space.
Zzzzt!
A weird sound kicks in. The moment the giant blood hits the space, it starts changing.
It spreads out, turning into a mist. The mist starts sucking up the chaos energy in the gem space, growing bigger and bigger!
It starts as a small blob but ends up blanketing almost the whole gem space, like endless storm clouds.
Then, the entire gem space starts to rain.
Torrential downpours, lightning, and thunder!
“Whoa, what’s this? I feel stuff in this water that’s super comfy!” Ygg shouts, pumped.
“Yeah, yeah, my roots are stretching out—like I can soak up more energy and grow faster!”
“So refreshing!”
Other plants sway their leaves, beaming with joy.
“This is called rain,” Oliver explains.
In the chaos world, there’s no such thing as rain.
The rain in Oliver’s gem space right now? Probably the first rain ever in the chaos world!
Primal Rain!
This rain’s clearly different from the human world’s rain later on. It’s heavy, and it keeps pouring.
Some unique planets have rainy seasons lasting months, even years.
But this rainy season in the gem space? It’s gonna last way longer.
Maybe centuries, even a millennium.
The Water primal rune itself might not have that much water vapor, but it’s constantly pulling chaos energy from the gem space, turning it into water, then rain.
Whoosh!
The rain keeps falling, pooling in lowlands on the planets and continents, forming rivers, lakes, oceans!
“Huh, some of my kin got totally flooded…” Starlight Grass says, surprised.
Other plants run into the same deal.
Growing in water’s new for them. Some plant deities start adapting, tweaking their bodies.
Maybe soon, aquatic plant deities will pop up.
With all this water, Oliver feels his gem space is starting to feel like a real world.
Planets, continents, mountains, rivers, forests…
But hold up, something’s still missing.
Oliver ponders.
He can sense the gem space is still kinda barren, lacking some life.
Sure, there’s plants, but animals are super rare.
Truth is, Oliver’s got his soul army. After Ygg gave them bodies, they’re scattered across the space.
These guys look wild and varied, like animals, each with their own turf.
But there’s only about 10,000 of them.
In this massive gem space, that’s basically nothing.
“Maybe I need to be like those giants and build my own faction.”
Then, let deities move into his gem space.
With mountains, rivers, forests, and swamps, plus some animals, that’s a complete world!
