Jave stared at the blue screen in front of him, blinking in confusion, half because of the bright flash just moments ago, half because of the blue screen.
*Ding!
He stared at it again, not understanding a word.
*Ding!
Okay, now he was even more confused. What was he suppossed to do?
So the box that said 'Basic information' piqued his interest. Especially because he had no idea about what was going on. Then-
*Ding!
And now Jave was overwhelmed. He had no idea what to choose first, or even how to choose for that sake. His eyes settled on the first option and-
Another box appeared. A menu apparantly was some sort of list, with a bunch of options he could choose from. How to choose them? Just think about it. After he was done it was replaced with the 'Basic Information' box. He went through all of the information quickly.
And so on.
After reading their descriptions, Jave couldn't hep but be amazed. So much that he had trouble beleiving it was real. But after all that had happened over the past few days, he was a bit less sceptic than he should've been. But he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so to speak, so he just accepted it.
And now-
Status!
Interesting, thought Jave. He understood why he had the skills and stats he had, except for the Charisma and Mentality attributes and the 'Charm' skill. The manipulation skils he knew came from the class, so did the energy creation skill. As for the [Untouchable Mind] skill... he had no idea what to think about that. It sounded to good to be real. And so just dismissed it.
He rolled his shoulders and dismissed the screen. He now observed his 'HUD'. He had found out earlier that he could customize it, because he had access after unlocking the system, whatever that meant. So, he had left the white and gold chest as it was, and set the mana bar at his top right corner as a glass tube filled with violet mana potion, topping off the end with gold caps. His 'Health' bar was dangerously low, he realized.
The System had displayed that you would not necessarily die if your HP ran out, only that if it was that was way for too long, then you would die. Unless, of course, there was a dagger lodged in your head. Or throat. Or heart. Point was, certain status effects would not immediately kill.
But that gave him a week or less before he died of hunger. And that was if he managed to reach the cave in two days. He knew thirst would kill much faster.
And so he set off towards the direction he came, willing the spell he had made before into existence, with one thought in mind.
The land of madness was no more.
