73 - Lights Out! A Wild Ride Begins!

  The sun was setting.

The soft, dim light gently draped over the earth, turning everything a warm orange hue.

A bus drove along a wide highway.

Laughter and chatter filled the bus, each passenger excited and animatedly discussing something.

"Steezy Amusement Park is pretty impressive, and they were really going all out. They hired a bunch of staff to dress up as cartoon characters just for us!"

"Yeah, all those Mickey Mouses and Donald Ducks...it really brought me back to my childhood. Walking into Steezy Park almost made me feel like a kid again."

"Kidtopia's not bad either. It's not as grand as Steezy's, but the rides they have are pretty good for little ones."

A group of teachers chattered, discussing the amusement parks they had visited that day.

The ones that got the most buzz were Steezy Amusement Park and Kidtopia.

"Alright everyone, we're here at Starlight Amusement Park. I'll park the bus, and you can all hop off!"

  The driver suddenly announced.

The teachers looked out the windows.

An amusement park came into view.

Although the park covered a large area, it was obvious that only a small section had been maintained. The rest was overgrown with weeds, like a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Seeing this, the team's impression of Starlight Amusement Park, which wasn't great to begin with, sank even lower.

A middle-aged man stretched, yawning. "My old bones are killing me after running around all day. Let's get this over with quickly, check it off the list, and go home and rest."

  "Agreed."

  "That's what I'm thinking too."

The group had left early, around 7 AM, and had been busy all day. They were physically and mentally exhausted.

That's why they'd scheduled the parks they weren't interested in at the end of the day.

Since they basically wouldn't be choosing these parks anyway, putting them last meant they could take it easy after a long, tiring day.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

The teachers stepped off the bus.

Jake and his staff were already waiting for them at the park.

As soon as Liam and the others saw the team arrive, they immediately put their hospitality plan into action, greeting them with smiles, offering small talk, serving tea and water.

  "Save the pleasantries."

"That's right, whether or not we choose your park depends on what you have to offer."

"Hurry and show us that 6D theater you have, what's it called…Wonderland Dream or something? A bit of a tongue-twister, if you ask me."

The team started working the moment they got off the bus, scribbling notes in their notebooks.

They might have been trying to slack off, but they still had to do their jobs.

After seeing all of this, the teachers had an even worse opinion of Starlight Amusement Park.

The welcome they received wasn’t anything special.

Unlike at Steezy Amusement Park or Kidtopia, where actors dressed as cartoon characters were everywhere, cute, funny, and interacted with them.

Starlight Amusement Park, on the other hand, was unremarkable.

Aside from a guy and girl who were easy on the eyes, everyone else was pretty rough.

One huge dude looked like a villain straight out of a cartoon, like he’d scare the kids.

And there were two weirdos dressed in Taoist robes, acting all mystical.

If you're going to cosplay, at least cosplay something legit!

The only thing they could praise was the staff's service.

But enthusiasm without substance is useless, and nice guys always finish last.

"Esteemed members of the review team, please follow me!" Jake clapped his hands. "The Wonderland Dream 6D theater is this way."

Jake led the way, with the team following behind.

Soon, they arrived in front of a theater.

It was an oval-shaped building with a unique interior layout. The seats were placed individually.

The seats were shaped like egg-shaped space capsules, and the interiors were filled with all sorts of strange little gadgets.

The team looked around the theater, confused.

"Isn't this supposed to be a theater? Where's the screen?"

"We saw a 5D or 6D theater at Steezy's too, but it wasn't anything like this."

"Did you forget to install the screen?"

Jake smiled faintly, offering no explanation.

How could a 6D theater based on future technology compare to the current 6D theaters?

"Just find a seat and get in. It doesn't matter which one, everyone will have the same experience once the equipment is activated." Jake called out.

The teachers were a little unsure, but with the help of Liam and the others, they took their places in the seats.

"Do you want to join us?" Jake asked the staff, seeing that the team was settled.

Henry and Ryan looked at each other and immediately found seats.

They suspected that Jake might use these strange devices for cultivation.

Perhaps that was part of his secret for being so powerful.

Ethan nodded. "Even though this is supposed to be for kids, Jake has never followed the norm. We should be careful."

"Yeah, if it's really interesting, we can try it after they do," Mike added.

The three of them quickly declined Jake's offer.

Jake looked at Cindy, who sat down in one of the devices without a second thought.

Jake then took his own seat and started the devices with a remote control.

Instantly, all the egg-shaped seats closed slowly, and the various strange devices activated.

Everyone’s vision was plunged into darkness.

"What the heck is going on?"

"Can I get out of here?"

Humans have a natural fear of the dark.

The moment their vision disappeared, everyone's heart rate quickened, and they began to panic.

At that moment, a bright light suddenly appeared.

A sweet and pleasant sound could be faintly heard, sometimes loud, sometimes soft, appearing and disappearing.
