87 - Extreme coaster Too Real Tourist Accuse Clickbait

Those agonizingly long moments for the tourists were just a fleeting instant in reality.

Before everyone's eyes, the rollercoaster transformed into a streak of light, blasting through the 360-degree loop with a thunderous roar.

It was so fast that some people, despite staring right at it, didn't even have time to react before seeing the rollercoaster begin to slow down and return to the platform.

  "Holy crap, what just happened?"

"Am I just spending too much time online? Am I hallucinating? I swear I saw the rollercoaster just zoom through."

"The game's changed again? Last time, I could barely make out the rollercoaster moving, but now I only see a black blur 'whoosh' by."

The tourists watching near the Death House rollercoaster were stunned by its speed. A commotion erupted in the queue.

"Oh my god, anyone who wants to ride it can go ahead! I'm out!"

"Let's bail! Isn't it better to keep my life and go home for ribs?"

"No way! Not even with a death wish would I ride that thing!"

In less than ten seconds, the once bustling queue for the Death House rollercoaster was deserted.

Not only them, but even the bystanders ran off, afraid of being spotted by some maniac.

The rollercoaster slowly pulled back into the station.

The passengers in the cars hadn't come to their senses yet, slumped haphazardly in their seats.

Their facial expressions were completely out of control, eyes rolling back or mouths twitching.

Some couldn't even control their breathing, sometimes gasping rapidly, sometimes struggling to take a breath for ages, their faces flushed red.

This state lasted for ten minutes before some people gradually recovered.

"Looks like you all had a blast!" Jake said with a genuine smile.

The tourists' enjoyment was the best praise he could receive.

Brian struggled to climb out of the rollercoaster.

Each step he took felt incredibly difficult.

His trembling limbs required every ounce of strength just to barely control.

Even worse, his stomach was churning violently.

He crawled to Jake's feet, grabbing Jake's pant leg with all his remaining strength, glaring and shouting, "Why... why aren't you clickbait? Why don't you engage in false advertising?"

Hearing Brian's roar, tears streamed down the faces of the other tourists.

Brian was expressing what they all felt!

  If Jake was clickbait!

If Jake had engaged in false advertising!

How great would that have been!

They could have enjoyed the rollercoaster without being turned into the wrecks they were now.

Now they couldn't even control their bodies, their stomachs feeling like they had downed a whole bottle of vodka.

If Jake was like Brian said, they wouldn't have gone through all this!

"Huh? Why would you want me to do clickbait and false advertising?" Jake was dumbfounded.

Honestly, after running the amusement park for so long, it was the first time he'd encountered such a strange request.

  Aren't these people messed up?

They hate black-hearted businesses that use false advertising and want to curse their ancestors.

Then they finally meet someone like him, a genuinely good guy, and they want him to use false advertising.

That's like a dog trying to catch a mouse, meddling where they shouldn't.

  ......

After about half an hour of rest on the rollercoaster, the people finally recovered some mobility.

Pale-faced, they supported themselves against the wall as they left the Death House rollercoaster.

As they left, they cursed Jake a few times.

  "Profiteer!"

  "Unethical young man!"

  "Scammer!"

Jake was utterly confused by the abuse.

  Wait!

How was he a profiteer, unethical, or playing games?

  He was being completely honest.

Everything was clearly stated in the promotional videos!

"Whatever, I shouldn't care so much, I need to go welcome the next bunch of little angels!" Jake shook his head, dismissing what had just happened and, with a warm smile, enthusiastically headed to the queue area.

But when Jake arrived at the queue area, he was dumbfounded.

The queue area was empty, not a soul in sight.

Moreover, there wasn't a single person within a hundred yards of the queue area.

There were a few people in the distance, but when they saw Jake looking their way, they immediately quickened their pace and disappeared.

"What the heck? Where is everyone?" Jake was baffled.

He remembered that there were dozens of people queued up here earlier.

This might be the most relaxing day Jake had spent in the amusement park.

Even though the foot traffic wasn't bad, with long lines forming at the Wonderland 6D Cinema and the virtual reality arcade, no one cared about the Death House rollercoaster he was in charge of.

Occasionally, it would run, but the cars wouldn't be full, with only a few people riding.

  "Sigh, lonely as hell!"

Utterly bored, Jake rested his chin in his hand and opened the system interface, checking to see if there were any good amusement facilities he could exchange for Fame Points.

After looking around for a while, Jake did find several amusement facilities that interested him.

But when he saw the exchange prices, he could only politely say "Never mind!"

The lowest of these amusement facilities cost 100,000 Fame Points.

  ————

  Super Rapids Ride

Description: This is a water park attraction. Tourists will ride on a raft downstream, encountering various amazing moments along the way, including sneaky crocodiles, giant snakes lunging at them, and some unknown creatures.

  Exchange Price: 100,000 Fame Points

Note: This amusement facility will not cause any danger to tourists.

  ————

Although Starlight Amusement Park has a good amount of foot traffic every day, getting 100,000 Fame Points isn't something that can be done in a short amount of time.

  Jake counted on his fingers.

He would need at least half a month to get 100,000 Fame Points.

"Why does it have to take so long!" Jake sighed.

"Ding, the system detects that a second special guest is about to arrive. Please prepare to welcome them!"

"Fulfilling the special guest's wishes will grant a large amount of Fame Points. Failure will trigger a penalty!"

"A special guest is coming?" Jake was invigorated. His eyes immediately sharpened like an eagle as he searched the amusement park.

"My little angel, where are you? Hurry up and show yourself. I will treat you very well!" Jake began to rub his hands together excitedly.

  This was a special tourist!

Not only could he have fun with them, but he could also get a large amount of Fame Points, instantly solving his current predicament.

It was like someone not only offering free services, but also paying you after the job was done!

Encountering such a thing, it was hard for Jake not to be happy!
