  In the end I find a rather unusual way to gather the little ice needles. And that’s through the use of my bracelet.

  The one with the ten Jewels on it.

  Somehow just putting the bracelet near the needles makes the needles float into the air and then into the bracelet. Turning the needles into the colors of whichever jewel they enter before said needles vanish.

  Almost like it’s arming the bracelet or something.

  I purse my lips at that thought before focusing on the bracelet itself. Which I now feel a bit of a trigger sensation from.

  One that makes me feel like I can activate the thing to fire off projectiles from it.

  I guess this is the method for this particular Unique Domain to fight against the Unique Monster?

  Most likely.

  With that in mind, I begin going around through the endless blizzard, just collecting all of the needles I can find. One after another.

  And every slowly, the number I have saved up in the bracelet rises from the single digits all the way to five digits.

  With tens of thousands of the needles of varying colors in the bracelet and ready to be used against the Unique Monster.

  Meanwhile the snow continues growing thicker and thicker. Both on the ground and in the air.

  And at this point, I find myself fighting against the frozen monsters as well.

  But the monsters in question are far more powerful than they were before getting frozen.

  Far, far more powerful.

  They’re strong enough that it actually proves to be a challenge just to kill some of them.

  Fortunately for me though, True Damage trumps all. Except for those chess pieces apparently.

  So even against the ones that give me a bit of a struggle, I still manage to kill them without taking much damage in the end. All thanks to Gaze of Destruction.

  As for my other attacks?

  Pretty much everything just bounces off of the ice.

  Proving just how strong the ice making up their frozen bodies is.

  But True Damage can get through any defense. Even if it takes a little while to kill them with just my gaze alone.

  I continue making my way through the blizzard without any signs about where the hell I’m going as more roars echo throughout the Unique Domain. Only for everything to suddenly stop moving all at once.

  The snow, the monsters, the ice, everything.

  It all just freezes in place. Midair.

  My eyes narrow as I look around at the floating snow and the monsters currently in a position to attack but standing unmoving. Then I hear a much lower pitch roar echoing throughout the area.

  One that sends a chill down my spine.

  And the moment that roar goes off, all of the snow and ice begins to vibrate at an incredible speed.

  So fast that it begins to tear apart the monsters made from the ice. Slaughtering them all in seconds as I focus on protecting myself from the snow.

  I then watch as all the snow instantly begins to rush off in the direction of the Unique Monster. Leaving me startled as snow starts slamming into me from behind, in the opposite direction of the Unique Monster. The snow heading towards it with me being in the way.

  Fortunately for me, I mostly manage to protect myself from it using numerous barrier skills to do so. Leaving only a few major injuries that don’t take very long to recover.

  And at that point, all of the snow is just gone. Leaving the Unique Domain to be rather… unusual. In appearance.

  Gone is the fleshy and chaotic terrain.

  Now there’s just ice.

  Everything is ice.

  Ice so thick that I can’t even see the terrain beneath its blue surface.

  I look around at the now-clear view before turning my attention in the direction of the Unique Monster.

  Okay, I think I should be alright taking him on now. I am at the same level as him, I have all of the jewels, and I’ve collected a significant number of needles to fight him with.

  I’ve also gotten some resistances from killing the monsters in this Unique Domain. Resistances towards ice magic and the cold to be specific.

  Amongst other skills.

  And if push comes to shove, I can always try using Chronos Lock on the thing.

  I give a firm nod of my head at that thought before beginning to make my way in the direction of the Unique Monster. Ever so slowly crossing the distance and the ice.

  Until I finally enter within range of… something…

  Some sort of enormous ball of ice and snow.

  The thing is so massive that I think it’s larger than a planet. Which is terrifying in its own right.

  But just a few seconds after I notice the thing, it spins around to reveal two glowing blue eyes staring right at me.

  In the form of a massive tiger’s head just kinda peeking out of the ball of ice and snow.

  I blink at the sight.

  Huh?

  I identify it.

  ?Clone of the Tiger of Eternal Snow, Veldray Qual Ron – Level 375 – 100 Potential Skills?

  Right. So, the Tiger of Eternal Snow… is just peeking his head out of a massive snowball?

  That looks…. ridiculous.

  Completely and utterly ridiculous.

  Especially with how serious the Unique Monster’s clone is trying to look from in there. With a sinister expression on his face that is just kinda overshadowed by the massive snowball.

  After finally getting used to the ridiculousness of it though, I realize the snowball is shrinking.

  And the tiger’s head is growing.

  Uh, what?

  My eyes widen further and further as the tiger continuously grows larger and the snowball smaller. All the way until I start to see the rest of the tiger’s body showing from within the snowball. With it growing just like its head.

  And by the time the snowball finishes shrinking, clearly being absorbed into the Unique Monster, the tiger is left floating in the Unique Domain at a size almost as big as a planet himself.

  Huh.

  I was not expecting this.

  That look on his face makes me wonder if he can talk in this clone…

  “He cannot,” Chaos answers, his voice ringing in my head. “This is a copy of him from when he was just born, so it is before he managed to gain sapience. He will not be able to speak to you and will likely be at around the same intelligence as a large cat.”

  Cats are smart creatures, so that’s not good. And I’ve heard they feel superior to others.

  I remember someone at one of those parties I was at before the System talking about how their cat thought they owned her.

  Although I’ve never had a cat myself.

  “Should I give you Veldray after this if you want a cat?” Chaos asks, making me blank out for a moment before Veldray’s clone roars.

  Uh, I don’t think he would… actually, never mind. No thanks.

  The massive tiger begins to prowl, just slowly beginning to circle around me like a predator inspecting its prey. Then it, out of nowhere, hisses. Making thousands of those very needles I have been collecting shoot out of its body.

  Or to be specific, hairs shoot out of its body.

  Because that’s what I finally realize those are.

  They’re hairs of the Tiger of Eternal Snow.

  I’m glad I’m not allergic to cats or something…

  “Everyone introduced to the System loses any and all allergies they may have had beforehand,” Chaos quietly says as the hairs of ice begin circling around the massive tiger.

  That’s interesting to know, but now’s not the time.

  And with that, the needles all begin to fly straight towards me. With more of them being created at the same time.

  Shit. This does not look good.

  It also reminds me of the volcanic eruptions caused by the King of Destruction back in the last Unique Domain.

  With that thought in mind, I quickly begin to set up defenses while trying to use my Gaze on the needles.

  Here’s hoping my Gaze can counter the needles at least…
