2:35 PM
The air cracked as buildings were torn from their foundation. Incoherent colors fluttered across the horizon and the color red flashed repeatedly in quick succession.
“Ha-Ha-Ha.” Domushi panted, sweat dripped down his brow as he retreated into an alleyway. All he needed was a moment to catch his breath and think this through. He was never the smartest, things always just seemed to go his way normally. But surely if he had even a few seconds of pause he could come up with something to beat-
“Not gonna lose me that easy ya know.”
[Negate: Inertia!] Spinning on the heel of his sandal Domushi threw a handful of gravel which he ripped from his baggy jeans pocket at the voice's source- the man named Jinen Lutece.
[Gravity Amplification: Inverse]
Zhoom!
The bits of gravel flew up into the air with a whistle as they pieced the clouds above, tearing holes in them akin to a finger through snow.
“Wanna try again?” Jin asked with a cruel laugh, brushing his light blonde hair from his blood red eyes. Eyes with two pupils from Polycoria which seemed to pierce through Domushi's soul itself.
Damn you Aotori! This bastard is too much to deal with on my own. I can’t do a fucking thingagainst the guy, everything I try he has a come back for! Grinding his teeth Domushi felt a thick vein grow across his temple, pumping hot blood into his brain. I thought popping the bubble would do something but even then he can dodge anything I do after. It’s all because of that bubble, if I could only get rid of it then I could at least have a chance! It’s not like Yamikawa has done anything either, so much for being the world's best assassin…
“Gonna let me go first this time then? Alright, sure.” Jin said.
[Light Piercing Arrows]
“!”
Sensing something coming from above Domushi used [Negate] to stop the incoming arrows. The arrows made of a burning bright golden light falling to the floor with a thud and sizzle before fading away as the color red flashed.
[Negate: Inertia!]
Digging his toes into the ground, Domushi dug up the concrete itself as if sand on a beach and threw it at Jin. The debris speed non-existent the force behind it was enough to put a hole through flesh or knock down a building instantly.
But Jin was even faster, [Gravity Amplification Extension Technique: Attract]. A ball appeared before Jin, one swirling with a deep ocean blue color like the seas crashing waves during a storm and Domushi felt himself being pulled forward and forced into the gravel he’d just thrown.
[Negate!]
Red flashed twice, Domushi leaping backwards and out of the alleyway with a gasp. His hands throbbed, he’d never had to use his blessing in quick succession so many times before, his muscles curled atop one another and squeezed his bones tightly, tendons ready to snap from the strain.
Jin put his pants in his pocket and walked after Domushi at a casual pace. So he can negate two effects at once, but the question is does it have to be the same phenomena or is it simply him negating the effect twice in quick succession? He could be negating the inertia of himself which in turn negates the sand itself as they collide or he could negate the sand and then himself? There’s also the chance he negated the area around himself, normally that would need a barrier but since it’s his blessing he might be able to push the rules a bit more… Ruffling his hair Jin sighed.
SHUP!
A hollow pointed sniper round split the air with a whistle as it flew at Jin, only to fall to the floor with a sizzle before it hit him as if coming into contact with some kind of barrier. But he paid no mind to the bullet, it wasn’t worth even noticing, his [Divine Domain] the barrier he had cast around him at all times being more than enough to deal with any outside threat. Only an anti-etheral technique being able to penetrate it.
He can also negate his own blessings negation, it’s simple but versatile, the strongest kind of blessings tend to be. I could try to expand my Liminal Realm but I have a feeling he’d just negate the barrier and cause it to collapse in on itself… Reaching his hands out Jin conjured dozens of difference orbs the size of golf balls. Each radiating a different hue, consistency and color. Some sizzled while others coiled with black smog and some blunt with a blue liquid, a few just sat still. “I have to admit that playing with you is pretty fun- Sumiyoshi Domushi!” He laughed.
# # #
Yamikawa could not believe his eyes, Sumiyoshi Domushi the pinnacle of power, the greatest asset of the Toumeikan, their strongest. No, he wasn’t just the strongest of the Toumeikan, he was the strongest in Edoland. Yamikawa had been a fool to think that rank would carry over into the rest of the world. Right now before his eyes he learned that as Domushi fled for his life and barely scraped by.
He Asago Yamikawa with his well trained eyes greater than an eagle even without observation could barely follow what was happening. Figures blurred as they dashed around, seeming to teleport from one place to another. Buildings blown apart by just the pressure of single blows being exchanged. Bolts of mana crackled, tearing up the concrete and asphalt like sand kicked up by kids playing on the beach. He saw things he’d have thought to be simply made up if told 2nd hand.
But perhaps the most outrageous thing and the worst part of it all was how useless he was. Asago Yamikawa had never once in his life been useless. He’d never failed a job, he always won, even if the odds were stacked against him he’d pass with flying colors. So why could he only watch as Jinen Lutece didn’t even acknowledge his existence, flat out ignoring him as if he was nothing more than a fly! Not a single thing he tried had come even close to working, and it was all his fault, Jinen Luteces! Hatred burned in his heart, it wasn’t fair, how could this be happening, how could the Hachibuto the Toumeikan be treated like pests!?
His insides churned and acid burned in his stomach, threatening to creep up into his throat as if his failure eating away at him inside his mind came to life. He was the best assassin in the world, the time of the Kageki was over. Kageki Dou was dead, killed by Jounichike Koutarou’s own hands, the Toumeikan hand took their place. So why was Yamikwa failing here, and why of all people did he think that the Kageki wouldn't be.
He’d thrown it all away, his name, his past, his parents, family, lineage and memories he’d traded them all away for what he currently was. Sacrificed everything that made him a human in order to become the world's best assassin. Yet right now he couldn’t kill a single measly man. Did that mean the value of his life was so little?
Across all of the identities that he took, across all of the histories he’d created for himself and the egos forged, his multiple personalities only a single constant remained no matter how hard he tried to erase it. His admiration for the Kageki, Kageki Dou in particular. The man who it was said could be hired to kill the president of a country himself and within 3 hours finish the job without anyone knowing it was him. And even though Yamikawa had worked his whole life to achieve such a feat, to reach that level and be able to sit on the throne Kageki Dou once held he always fell short due to a single fact.
Kageki Dou was born an assassin, the man who Asago Yamikawa once was; had become one. That difference placed them in separate worlds entirely. And nothing Yamikawa tried could change that. So he would force himself to sit on the crown. When he met Kobe and told him his idea to “Kill the Kageki” and explained his plan, Kobe smiled widely.
The Toumeikan had always done contract killing afterall, it was just never very profitable. “The poor man's assassin” they were called, “If you want a job done right the Kageki are the way.” He'd heard it so many times, and each time he did his hatred grew. Their time was over, it was now his time to sit on the throne.
He could still recall the ecstasy he felt when he’d once killed one of the Kageki. The waves of pleasure shot up his spine and spread across the spider web like patterns that were his nerves as he remembered their body falling limp to the floor. The fact they were a child did not matter to him, that they were most likely not even a proper assassin yet. It was merely the fact he could imagine Dous pained screams which made him nearly ejaculate. The fact he made Kageki Dou feel pain made him be filled with indescribable pleasure.
How many minutes had passed since he’d interviewed in the bout between Domushi and Jinen Lutece he didn’t know, nor did he care. He’d easily used hundreds of bullets so far, each conjured by his spell [ 万工: Bangu] none of them were enough, none good enough to pierce that barrier. So he would need to forge something new- something to defeat Jinen Lutece himself. Surely that was something that Kageki Dou could not do, Kageki Dou fell to Jounihicke Koutatou who was defeated by Sumiyoshi Domushi and at this moment Sumiyoshi Domushi was being beaten half to death by Jinen Lutece.
Yamikawa alone would surpass them all, he alone would be the one to kill Jinen Lutece, he would achieve that thing which no one else possibly could, he would sit on that throne and his name be engraved at the top of it! Even if it cost him everything to do.
He would pay for such a feat with everything he had, he would surrender it away, sacrifice all which made Asago Yamikawa an assassin, a Hachibuto and even a person itself. He would offer up his very life for this moment. His dreams, potential, history, desires and regents, legacy, title, honor, magic, legacy and life he would take all of that and smash it together.
Force it into a single shape, like a smith over a forge he would smash those things into a slap of metal and then beat and break it down. Force it to the shape he wanted, force it into the shape of a bullet. One with enough power to kill Jinen Lutece, and when he did-
“I’ll take this from you, Sumiyoshi Doumushi! I’ll kill Jinen Lutece myself!” He cackled with a dry rasp, his hair beginning to turn white and face growing covered in wrinkles, his teeth themself seeming to wither away in his skull.
Inside the barrel of his riffle [烈雷打: Redo Raida] he formed a bullet, a special one, unique and twisted, cruelly sharp and with a twisted split end made to tear and rip flesh. Unlike his normal [ 万工: Bangu] this was far stronger, he felt as if his very soul was putting put into the bullet itself but that’s exactly what his sacrifice meant. And he was willing to pay that price.
The bullet shone, almost as bright as the sun itself; the light blinded him, filling his vision. He couldn’t even see Jinen Lutece anymore, only felt the hard metal of the trigger.
And so he pulled it with a click.

[Negate: Inertia!]
Grains of gravel flew from the hand of Domushi and into the five story building which Jin was walking under the shadow of, with a bang the gravel landed, the infinite speed causing into crumble instantly and the rubble to fall atop Jin.
[Gravity Amplification: Geler]
As if time itself paused, the collapsing building halted mid air and Jin walked under the rubble which only moments before seemed ready to consume him.
[Telekinesis]
“!”
With a sudden whip of power the rubble above Jin was thrown at Domushi who yelped. Throwing his hands up with many flashes of red as he [Negated] the incoming attacks which he didn’t at all try to dodge.
Those bits of rubble which missed him flew past him and into the cars, street lights and buildings in the surrounding area. Toppling, crushing, flattering or boring holes into their form.
“Oi, you tryna destroy the city or what!?” Domushi barked, as he kicked up one of the pieces of rubble and slapped it. [Negate: Inertia!] With a flash of red the rock flew at Jin who raised his hand at the object.
[Divide: 1/4th]
Instantly the rock was carved into four perfect preparation pieces, which Jin then threw back at Domushi who [Negated] them before they could hit him. “You’re one to talk.” Jin grinned, it was true the collateral damage was more than Jin was happy with- but at the same time Domushi himself was a lot more annoying than he’d ever expected. His blessing seemed impossible to get around, really he felt lost in the moment as to how he could get around it. He’d tried anything he could think of and now he was scraping the bottom of the bucket and trying to put together the scraps. At this point I’m wondering If a kiss would be the only key to break the thing. He thought with a laugh which Domushi raised a brow at.
SHUP!
SHUP!
SHUP!
Three more sniper rounds came at Jin and bounced off his [Divine Domain] yet once more, and he paid them no mind. With his barrier they were nothing more than another annoyance. Is it time based? He wondered, scratching at this chin. He’d thought about it before, he did need to negate two things separately instead of at the same time but that seemed more like the inability to negate multiple stimuli at once instead of a time limit. The gap between those two negations seemed near instant. But was it that he preplanned them? He knew what to negate there for he was able to negate them back to back near instantly? If he was hit by two attacks one he saw and negated but one he didn’t would that fix the issue then? It’s an angle to explore if nothing else. Ruffling his hair Jin couldn’t help but smile. He had to admit this was fun. Everyone's waiting for me to deal with this guy and go around cleaning up the left overs and here I am having a grand time playing with a bug.

“Hahaha, Domushi you’re blessing really is annoying!” He laughed as he walked towards Hachibuto who turned on his heel and ran.
“Stay the hell away from me you asshole!” Domshi barked with a whimper, his body dripping with sweat and dirt dying his flesh brown. His hands throbben in pain as if they’d been hit by a hammer over and over again until every bone was broken.
Then with a flash Jin appeared before Domushi, “Shi-”
[Gravity Amplification: Inverse]
Domushi was flung forwards, he felt the skin of his face peel back as the cold air filled his lungs. How high up was he? He could see Tousen tower in the distance as clear as day, no he was looking down it, from far higher up.
[Gravity Amplification: Crush]
“!”
Just as quick, no quicker than before, perhaps within the same second Domushi was thrown downwards and slammed to the floor.
[Negate!]
He screamed out as he bounced from the concrete with a thud, neither him nor the road received damage yet his stomach churned inside him.
He didn’t negate his gravity or his own inertia he negated the impact itself, so I was right that he can’t negate his own person then. So if you make a connection the damage will be dealt, it’s just getting to that point that’s the hard part. Jin thought with a frown. He was affected by [Gravity Amplification] so does that mean he knew it in itself was a threat so he didn't negate it or is the issue that he can’t negate his own gravity? He negated the act of him hitting the ground or rather the “Impact” which means his blessing doesn’t consider the “effect” of his actions to be part of him. Only his physical body. So even if I was to [crush Him] the effect of being crushed could be negated, but not his weight increasing…
[Negate: Inertia!]
Domushi threw a handful of gravel at Jin for what must have been the dozenth of time, forcing him out of his thoughts he frowned at the attack as it simply bounced off his divine Domain and to the floor. Running forwards Domushi thrust his hand out reaching towards Jin his fingers nearly touching Divine Domain itself to negate the barrier, expect-
CRACK!
Jin’s leg swung upwards and into Domushi’s side as the man threw his hand up.
[Negate!]
Despite taking no damage as he negated the impact of the kick he was still thrown to the side by the force alone. Smashing into a building through its window with a spray of glass Jin watched with his hands in his pocket.
[Tekelenisis]
Taking his hand from his pocket and pointing towards the wall of the building he flicked his finger and the wall was ripped from the foundation itself. Revealing the room where Domushi has been thrown into yet wasn’t inside of. Flicking his finger once more Jin tore the entire building from it’s foundation and raised it into the air. Slowly pulling it apart wall by wall and letting the rubble fall to the floor in clumps of debris he rotated it through the air as if a rubix cube in his hand. Soon enough he found Domushi hiding inside a closet with a jug of bleach in hand.
[Negate: Inertia!]
Throwing the Jug at Jin the bottle exploded as the liquid turned into thousands of bullet like drop[es. Each easily able to pierce flesh, Jin simply clenched his extended hand into a fist and with [Gravity Amplification] forced the liquid into a sphere. Spinning the sphere it changed shape multiple times mid air, first a square then a triangle, then a pyramid and butterfly before finally ending on a perfect model of Domushi himself as if sculpted from ice.
“Pretty neat huh?” Jin asked with a grin.
[Negate: Gravity!]
“!?”
Jin felt the weight of the building increase, becoming far far heavier as the building's gravity simply vanished. Only his blessing of [Telekenisis] keeping the hundreds of tons worth of material mid air.
“Tch, let’s see how you deal with them." He sneered, clenching his hand into a fish once more.
[Gravity Amplification Extension Technique: Celestial Formation]
“!?”
Domushi felt the gravity shift, his own person becoming suddenly heavier and far denser the building began to shape and form around. Flying towards him and piling atop one another building a sphere of rubble. The sphere rising into the sky looked like a moon built of brick, concrete and glass. Rough in shape yet unboundedly a sphere.
[NEGATE!]
Red burst from the sphere of rubble and Domushi climbed out, panting and covered in dirt. [Negate: Inertia!]
He negated the “Pull” towards him then? Clever… Jin thought as the entire sphere crashed down towards him, like a planet itself was falling from the ravens down to crush him Jin raised a brow.
[Light Piercing Arrows]
Shooting up from the ground behind him, arrows made of molten burning hot and bright light shot towards the sphere, ripping it apart with a sizzle and reducing the rubble to ash which fluttered through the air like snow.
Once more Domushi jumped down and lunged at Jin, using the rubble as coverage his hand just barely reached the barley with only a hair's length of room between them.
“Again? Haven’t you learned your less-”
[絶対自棄終発: Final Destination]
Jin was cut short as the air hissed with a wrath while split by the black bullet which soared towards him. Writhing with power and shining bright as the sun, it crashed straight into his Divine Domain shattering it completely. The bullet aiming for his head he just barely managed to whip it out of the way before the bullet could go right between his eyes, yet still grazed his cheek with a spray of blood.
“What!? He asked with a growl, veins bursting along his neck and temple.
[Negate: Oxygen!]
The barrier shattered, Domushi managed to touch Jin, even if only with a finger tip against the man's chest for not even a fraction of a second there was a flash of red. Flicking his hips Jin swung his leg upwards at the same time and smashed it straight into Domushis side. This time the attack landed and threw the man to the side who exploded with blood from his mouth as the side of his stomach was caved in. Ribs snapping he was thrown some ways away and crashed into another building in the distance.
But the more pressing manner was-
My Divine Domain is gone!? Jin reached inside his soul, grabbing onto the spell in an attempt to recase the barrier he found locked away. Black chains made of smog and fire wrapped tightly around the barrier, a curse. But even more than that was what Domushi had [Negated]. I can’t breathe? He tried to breathe in air yet nothing entered his lungs, as if oxygen itself vanished from the face of the planet.
“Hahaha, right on Yamikawa!” Domushi laughed as he limped towards Jin, his white shirt dyed black from blood as he cradled his side. He’d been right about how powerful and dangerous a hit from Jin was, his shattered Hip, Radius, Ulna, Humerus, ribs shoulder and clavicle were more than enough proof. If he hadn’t focused every ounce of his aura into reinforcing his side in that moment he would have died, something which made his skin crawl. “But it doesn’t matter now, you’re done for. Jinen Lutece, show me how you die, gasping for air like a fish plucked from water!” He laughed weakly, each breath hurting his ribs which slowly mended themselves.
Ignoring Domushi's taunt Jin rose into the air, his feet leaving the ground he floated upwards, he’d sigh if he could. “It’s a bit tricky ya know.” He began to which Domushi's eyes widened in horror, Jin's voice rather raspy and dry. Crackling like wood on an open fire, each breathe a gasp. “ The air we breathe daily is composed of many gases, Nitrogen at 78%, Argon at 0.93% and Carbon Dioxide at 0.04% to name a few. It’s not quite as smooth as oxygen but with [Oxygen Creation] I can bind those together to create something breathable. Even if it feels like huffing sulfuric acid.”
Domushis trembled, his eyes nearly forming tears as they tilted upwards and his nose scrunched, lips curling downwards he opened his mouth wide, wrinkled spreading across his face. “That’s bullshit!” He screamed, teeth gnashed. “This isn’t fair, it’s not fair at all! You’re a cheater, a cheating bastard! You’re like a poorly designed video game's final boss!”
“That’s a first.” Jin grunted. He could soothe the pain in his throat somewhat by conjuring [Water] and [Wind] inside his throat to create the extension element [Mist], though even then each breath was a struggle. It’ll have to work for now… Turning to the direction where Yamikawa was, he let out a mutter, “Now let’s give you the attention you wanted so badly.”
Hundreds of meters from where Jin floated in the air Yamikawa stumbled before a window frame. Hair ghost wide and lips trembling he looked as if he’d aged a century. His eyes darted around in a panic as he clutched his shoulders, his aura… if you wanted to call it that was more like a puff of smoke then a blazing inferno. He sacrificed everything for that shot, he probably doesn’t even know where he is right now or who he is… “And it still failed to kill me, if I left you alone you might die in a few hours but I’m too petty for that.”
[Divide: 1/8th]
It happened suddenly, despite the two being 800 parts it was instantaneous. Blood sprayed as Yamikawa's neck flew from his head, his body divided by 1/8th its length. His head being the perfect amount. Asago Yamikawa Hachibuto of the Toumeikan was dead.
“Oi, oi Yamikawa what the hell man, why aren’t ya shooting the bastard anymore!?” Domushi screamed out facing the opposite direction of where Yamikawa once was.
“You really are as blind as a bat.” Jin frowned, he could feel the oxygen begin to return to his throat with a deep breath. The negation expired since I created my own oxygen to breathe, it just took a second. Does that mean the force or amount of the stimuli impacts the speed of the negations expiration?
“So he went and died on me then I’m guessing huh? God damnit he could have at least finished the job before croaking.” Domushi grumbled, grinding his teeth. “But if your barrier is really gone then-”
Like a gunslinger drawing their pistol, Domushi flicked a handful of gravel with a flash of Red at Jin, its inertia canceled.
Jin’s eyes widened at the act, a slight smile curing across his lips and brow furrowing before-
“!”
Throwing his hand out in a crescent arch Jin grabbed the gravel as it flew at him. The sound of it meeting his flesh like a car crashing into a concrete wall. His skin sizzled audibly as smoke came from his close fist, a wince in his expression. Opening his hand to reveal his bomb the gravel fell to the floor with a patter with drops of blood. “I was wondering for a while how bad taking that head on was- good thing It didn’t hit my head huh?” He asked with a smirk. The flesh on his palm, looking as if an iron had been pressed to it quickly began to heal, skin sloughing off like a lizard's shed to reveal the perfectly fine skin below.
“So you are killable after all.” Domushi asked with a grin, though a bead of sweat dripped down his chin, falling to the floor below. He didn’t even use reinforcement!? But he bled, that’s all that matters, without that damn bubble I can hit him, and I can kill him! “Now that your trick is gone you’re just as dirty and soft as the rest of us huh?”
“Hmph.” Jin huffed, trying to hold in a laugh, “You sure do think highly of yourself. Sumiyoshi Domushi, and I have to admit you are stronger than I’d expected.” More like annoying. “But I think you’ve made a grave mistake here. You’re fighting for your life, I’m fighting to break you. If it wasn’t for your blessing I’d have killed you like this.” Jins snap broke the sound barrier, like a whip being cracked.
“But my attack still made ya bleed you liar.”
“Because I chose to catch it duh, you think I’d have just let it hit me because I didn’t have a choice?” Jin frowned deeply. “Anyways, my moods kinda spoiled now, so we should try and hurry this up.” With a shrug Jin fell to the floor gracefully, taking both of his hands from his pocket a series of veins spread across the back of his hand.
“!”
Jin’s blood red aura surged, it felt like the entire city was shaking, not in a violent thrash but a light tremble, a hum to the air and a drum like rhythm pounding on the floor, sending waves of motion up Domushi's leg.
He could feel his legs shaking and bladder threatening to empty, every step Jin took towards him like a lion approaching a sheep with nowhere left to run.
Death.
Was the single image that flashed through Domushi’s mind. “Guess we really are at the final stage then huh?” He asked with a tremble to his voice that he tried poorly to hid. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a single paper seal, covered in runes and hymns which Jin raised a brow at, yet didn’t stop his advance. “So I think it’s time I get serious too huh?” Domushi flicked the seal in his hand, the thing erupting into blue flames as his murky brown aura flashes. A katana appeared in his hand, one which writhed with power and shone brightly. The blade itself a rich red with white petal-like designs falling down its length.
[Yamatoudou] the greatest of the 12 legendary blades of Edoland the Ore Father Kill-Thunder forged, the Katana given to the Emperor himself.” Jin said aloud with pursed lips and a whistle. “Now how did you go about getting your grubby little hands on that?”
“That’s a trade secret, but let’s just say it wasn’t easy.”
“It bet it wasn’t, but do you really think you can beat me with that? Can you even use the thing?”
“...”
Domushi's face paled and his lips pursed before he shook his head and laughed as loud as he could. “Of course I do, all I have to do is cut you down with it afterall.”
“Well then, let’s make it a fair match, if that's fine with you?”
[Light Piercing Arrows Extension Technique: Saber]
Shooting down from the sky into Jin’s right hand was a blade which seemed to be made of light itself, shaped like a double edged one handed sword it shone brightly, just looking at it was painful. The heat it gave off was enough to make Domushi feel like the hair on his arms was being singed. “I’ll even let you make the first move~” Jin winked.
A vein burst on Domushi's brow as he leapt forwards with a cry. “Gurrrrrah!” Katana overhead with both hands clasped around the handle he swung it down like one would a sledge hammer on the crown of Jin's head. He almost laughed at how easy it was- he’d already won.
[Crescent Moon Style: Crescent Moon]
Domushi didn’t know what hit him, suddenly his Katana was forced to the side and the light piercing blade of Jins carved into his flesh, burning it black with a foul smell.
“I thought you knew how to use it?” Jin mocked with a grin.
Domushi grimaced and fell backwards, barely catching himself from falling onto his behind. “That was just my warm up.” He grunted, his white shirt having the side of it burned his side revealed the black charred skin sloughing off as the wound healed. What the hell, why can’t I use this damn thing and my blessing at the same time?! He thought with grit teeth.
Grasping the blade he began to focus all of his aura into it, everything he could until his mana pool, that giant pond in his mind which was full of a murky brown liquid, was drained dry, not a drop left and even then he tried to force more. Which is when he found at the bottom of the pit something glowing golden, something hidden under the current, his blessing.
“HAHAHAHA!” With roaring laughter Domushi felt power surge into the Katana, so much power he thought it impossible. Bolts of mana crackled as the blade grew orange the same color as the brightest of flames as if dipped into a smelter. Like most of the twelve blades of Edoland each Katana was forged with a special property placed into it, and this one was no exception. The Emperors Katana, Yamatoudou was created with the ability of the user being able to infuse their blessing into it.
Hands gripping tightly around the bound leather of the Katans handle, Domushi swung the blade down once more like a hammer, though this time in the air itself.
[Negate Extension Technique: Iyazen!]
There was a flash of red as existence itself was negated, Jin barley stepped to the side at the lost moment after the image of his losing his right arm flashed through his mind.
With that simple swing of his Katana Domushi had cleaved an entire 100m strip of land out of existence, creating a blank path, a chasm which seemed to reach down into the core of the planet itself, bottomless.
“Hahaha-BWAHAHAHAHA” Roaring with laughter to the point of tears Domushi felt pure ecstasy, pleasure from rushing dopamine making goosebumps rise across every part of his flesh. “You dodged! You stupid bastard you dodge-”
[Gravity Amplification Extension Technique: Repulse]

And so ends volume 7! As of 9/26/25, I hope by the time this gets uploaded I’ve thought of a name for it… Little did I know it would be 4 months and some change later that I uploaded this…
It’s also the longest volume so far by quite a bit, my doc says 95k words but that’s with author comments so who knows how that will show up in the actual word count on Royal Road. I think Volume 8 will reach 100k words! Now I just need to write the other 70k… It' currently at chapter 110.2 and 3/4th of the way done with that.
Kanji:
[倭刀] Yamatodou - Literally “Blade of Yamato” Yamato being the name for Japanese people and the Emperor.
[否翦] Iyazen - Literally “Negate” and “Slice” like as in to slice or cut something with scissors or shears.
[烈雷打: Redo Raida] - So this is a fun one for two reasons, first the Kanji. So the first Kanji 烈 means “fierce” or “serious” and is read as “Retsu” however if you push the rules far enough, and I mean tug on those things as hard as you can you can change Tsu to To because they’re both “T” sounds, then you can add the daten which in look like ” and change a characters sound. So と the Hiragana for “To” with the daten becomes ど meaning “Do” so It can be “Redo”! So the second Kanji is “Rai” for thunder, same Kanji as in Raizen's name, and the 3rd and final Kanji “Da” means to strike something as in hit or punch. So “Fierce Thunder Strike!” And the Redo Raida part… well let’s say I hate copyright and trademark laws a lot for certain reasons…I’ll just leave it at that.
[ 万工: Bangu] - A pun on the “Bang!” Sound effect of a gun being fired. The Kanji are “10,000” and “Craft” so “10,000 crafted” Ten Thousand what? Idk maybe bullets…
[絶対自棄終発: Final Destination] The Kanji 絶対自棄終発 would be read as “Zettai-Jiki-Shūhatsu” meaning “Complete Self Sacrifice Last Departure.” but 自棄 which I meant as “Self Sacrifice" can apparently mean “Desperation” and “Self Abandonment” which is a happy coincidence which makes sense for Yamikawa in that moment, so that’s cool.
[惑星創造: Wakuseisouzou] - So this would be the Kanji for [Gravity Amplification Extension Technique: Celestial Formation], I can’t figure out how to make a 3 set tag like this. It’s a WIP but basically the Kanji mean “Planet” and “Creation” but in a divine sense so made by a God- like or divine force.
Not Kanji related but Geler in [Gravity Amplification: Geler] is French for "Freeze."
