vs Cain, The Sin of Wrath

On the streets of Windstone blood sprayed in the air as Fenric cut through pirates. The paladins and city guard joined him, disregarding their earlier suspicions. Pirates fell by the second as they joined forces.

Myrr shifted to do hit and run tactics, turning into a white blur speeding through falling pirates. It didn't take long for them to clear the streets of the pirates with few casualties. Only a handful of city guards had died in the battle. The rest cheered, tears in their eyes when the last pirate in the city fell.

Fenric, however didn't celebrate, instead he took off towards the docks. The smell of burning wood became almost unbearable as byrnung ships came into view. Stopping at the edge of the dock Fenric looked around.

The pirates were almost completely annihilated, most of their ships either burning or filled with corpses. Kane and Kaelon had made quick work of them already. His head suddenly stopped turning, his eyes locked onto Vaelora's ship.

His instincts screamed at him, telling him 'that's it', that's where he had to go. Myrr caught up to him and sat beside his feet. Looking up at him, her eyes held a question.

Fenric looked down at her and patted her head. With a smile he ordered.

"You stay, I'll be right back."

Letting out a howl he shot towards the sea. A couple minutes earlier, on Vaelora's ship. Kaelon turned back, chills houng down his spine. A loud thump echoed as Cain, Sin of Wrath, landed on the deck.

The bald man raised a bloodstained hand with a menacing smile.

"The children of the Gods! It must be my lucky day!"

In the blink of an eye he was right in front of Kaelon. Cain's bloodstained fist crashed into his jaw sending him flying back. Vaelora immediately drew her cutlass, wind wrapping around her body. Lightning crackled around her cutlass as she swung it at Cain.

The bald man ducked under her attack, delivering a devastating punch to her gut. As she was sent flying back, Kaelon had already stood, his sword shining red. In a few breaths he was clashing with Cain. His sword clashing with a bloodstained fist.

Kaelon took a step back as Cain's other fist closed in on him. The attack just barely missed, brushing against his nose. Without faltering Kaelon stepped in, his sword thrust forward.

  'First Form: Kindling Spark'

Cain quickly crossed his arms, defending his vitals. The sword left behind a shallow wound, with a much worse burn. Facing Kaelon his eyebrows furrowed, anger beginning to overtake him.

Vaelora began standing, using her cutlass as a crutch. She took a second to catch her breath, the punch taking the air out of her lungs. Turning back to her crew she yelled.

"Abandon ship! Board our other vessel! Swim if you have to! Just get away from here!"

Wind began to gather around her legs and her cutlass sparked in her grip. Her crew snapped into action, fleeing the scene. She wore an angry expression as she shot at Cain, the wind boosting her speed.

Her cutlass was raised high, already coming down as she ran. A large lightning bolt began to form from the sparks. It wreathed the cutlass in blue energy as Vaelora brought it down on Cain.

Cain let out a wrathful scream, sending out an intense shockwave. Vaelora's lighning blade was forced back as the shockwave sent her flying back. Doing flips in the air, she steadied herself and landed safely.

Kaelon was also knocked back but he ended ip going overboard. Only his right hand kept him from falling into the sea, knuckles white as he gripped a stray rope. Cain let out a sigh, turning toward the demigods he frowned.

"...I have to say, you two are better than I expected. You're lasting longer than I thought you would."

Vaelora raised her cutlass, not letting him rest. A lightning bolt shot out of the golden blade, flying for Cain. Cain angled his head a little, dodging the bolt of lightning. His bloodstained fists clenched to the point of shaking as he turned back towards her.

His eyes were borderline bloodshot as a howl echoed through the air. Cain shot at Vaelora, appearing before her in the blink of an eye. She met his attack with her cutlass, winds producing a buffer between her and his heavy attack.

Kaelon shot at Cain's back, his sword emitting flames as he swung.

  'Third Form: Soul Flare Rend'

Red aura emerged from Cain's body as the slash approached. Kaelon's sword clashed with his energy sending sparks through the air. His sword barely made it through, leaving behind faint burns and a shallow cut.

Suddenly from the night, a huge wolf appeared. Landing on the deck, Fenric was on all fours. His predatory eyes locked onto Cain, his aura repulsing the demigod. Without wasting time he immediately shot at the bald man, claws brandished.

Kaelon's eyes widened as yet another player was introduced to this battle, but he had little time to complain. Instead he raised his flaming sword and joined the wolf man in his attack. Vaelora shook her head and did the same, saving questions for later.

Cain, now trapped in this 3v1, wrapped his while body in red aura. His anger rose and the world became less clear. All he could see were his three enemies and all he felt was anger. His fists swung with immense power as lightning and flames assaulted him.

Vaelora moved to aim for a blindspot, her blade ready. But her attack was fruitless, Cain's aura blocking the attempt. His eyes fell down on her and he clamped his arm down on the cutlass, not letting her disengage. A smile creeped up on his face as a hand shot for Vaelora's neck.

Kaelon and Fenric continued attacking but he swung an arm at them, knocking them away. Vaelora had been caught in Cain's grip, her cutlass falling. Blood splattered from Vaelora's right eye as Cain stabbed a finger into it with his free hand. Cain grinned as he taunted Vaelora.

"You're a pirate right? Now you'll at least look the part before I kill you."

Kaelon immediately appeared at Cain's side, his sword hotter than ever before. His Divinity flowed into the blade smoothly, and he infused more energy than he had ever done before.

The sword's edge burned hot, red flames dancing on it. A red light clashed as Kaelon cut through the arm gripping Vaelora's neck.

  'Third Form: Soul Flare Rend'

Cain's smirk twisted into a pained expression as Kaelon cut off his arm at the elbow. Turning to the red haired teen, he immediately delivered a punch. Red aura coated his fist as it struck Kaelon's face.

He was sent flying back as Cain let out a tirade of curses. Vaelora hurriedly picked up her cutlass and dashed back. Her expression showed an anger that only came after moments of weakness. Raising her cutlass wind enveloped her form. She disappeared from view. zig zagging towards Cain.

Lighning gathered on her blade, and she dealt a horizontal slash at Cain. Bolts of lighning struck Cain as her cutlass collided with his aura. It cut through without much struggle but Cain backed away before the sword could cut too deep. He kicked her square in the chest, sending Vaelora crashing into the rail.

Fenric had been observing. paitently waiting for an opportunity to go wild. Seeing Cain somewhat let his guard down after knocking the others away he pounced. His claws reached for Cain's heart as he approached from behind.

Unfortunately Cain's defenses held, the red aura blocking Fenric's attack. He turned back to face the wolf with an irritated expression. Letting out a complaint he rushed at the retreating Fenric.

"This is getting annoying! Just die already!"

He raised his fist high and it came down with extreme speed. Fenric could barely react, his instincts told him to duck but his body was tired. He reacted too slowly and Cain's fist crashed into his snout, a loud crack echoing through the air.

Cain stood in the middle of the flaming deck surrounded by the dallen demigods. Vaelora still crumpled on the rails. Kaelon had crashed into a wall, still laying in the rubble. A smile emerged on his face as blood trickled down his body. Finally the fight was over, now he could kill these demigods. Sacrifice them to his ever growing Wrath.

He first turned toward Kaelon, the brat who took his arm. Disdain was clear in his face as he stepped up to the crumpled demigod. Standing over him he raised his foot, about to step on his head. Suddenly a sword came flying at him from the distance, stabbing into his lowered defenses.

Kane landed on the flaming deck, turning to Cain.

"I'm back angry man, did you miss me?"
