I'm excited to share with you guys that I'm going to be launching a new story here on Royal Road on December 1st, 2025! This story will eventually come to the Patreon as well, with its own separate subscription tiers and extra chapters, but not for the first few weeks while it builds an audience.
Rest assured, I'm not dropping Sins of the Forefathers. I fully intend to write this new series concurrently alongside Sins. I just thought it was time that I started writing more than I have.
Now, this new series is not intended to be as long as Sins. By this point, we're in Book 8 of Sins, over 750k words. In comparison, I'm setting a firm 5 Book limit on the new series. So, a few years of work for me, I'd say, but not the behemoth that Sins is. This is part of my new intention to be writing more series alongside Sins, if only to broaden my skills and reach.
Below, I'm going to be dropping both the synopsis of the series as well as the cover, so you can get a better idea of it. The landing page for it will likely be published sometime this weekend on RR and SH, but the first chapter will only be available here on Patreon until 12/1.

The Gold Champion is a soft LitRPG/Progression Fantasy with light Isekai elements in a fantasy world undergoing a steam-tech revolution, featuring a protagonist capable of transforming into a higher state of being. Expect armored heroes as champions of their people, similar in a way to Japanese Sentai, with sprinkled elements of fantasy mecha. This story isn’t meant to be camp, but the nature of the chosen elements means there is an unavoidable amount of it.
The Golden Champion updates every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Update time is between 9:00-10:00 AM CDT.
Chapters will be between 1000-2000 words.
