Sorry for the te update! While remastering a book might seem simple, it’s trickier than you’d think—especially when I have to work around my low drive. Despite setbacks and plenty of challenges, I pulled through, thanks in rge part to the incredible support of AlliterativeArts, my dedicated editor and dear friend!
This preface also features a brand-new banner, which will also repce the one for 1.00 - Preface, since I lost the inal artwork (oops!). Given that, I couldn’t reproduce the same image at good quality, but holy? I think the new ourned out eveer! It’s the same self-portrait, just with a fresh spin and style. ? As always, this is a heavily polished, sparkly version of SuperLuminal—a true Resurgence!
This book was never remastered for the light novel projects, though it’s had plenty of edits over time. However, this definitive version is the most refined and heavily revised of all. Uhe previous book, there aren’t any brand-neters save one, but for those looking for fresh tent, look forward to the bonus chapter at the end of this book! It’s the installment in the mini-arc that will span much of SuperLuminal: Resurgence. And for even bigger ges wait for Book 3 - An Ill Wind, which will feature nearly 50% neters!
And now, we’ve rolled over into 2025. What I say? So much hangs over many of our heads. For some, this new year might be the best thing that ever happeo them. For others, not so much. I just hope that SuperLuminal tio be a story that anchors people through tough times.
That said, I do want to hat some ses in this story may be objeable to certain readers—just like in the inal version. But I want to be clear: I have not chosen to uch of anything. If you were hoping for that, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. Every event in SuperLuminal tributes to who Leona is and who she’s being, and s would take away from that. If something offends you, please don’t rate this story poorly just because of that.
Book 6, Elodie Elegy remains on pause for now. There’s still so much to review before I feel fortable tinuing to put it together, and I have a lot on my pte here—not to mention the mental blocks and stress that make things even harder. Some of it stems from uainty about the future… not just my own, but everyone’s.
I want to believe everything will turn out okay, but staying optimistic feels like a struggle. And then there’s the fear of what might happen tender fi and those who write it. Will they try to silence us? Imprison people for writing with their hearts about things certain groups don’t like? Will our books be burned or buried? And what about the artists and writers p their souls into their work, only to face erasure? Hopefully, everything will stay roughly the same, and I’ll tio write my stories in peaany years to e. But the uainty lingers.
