Alicorn is elegantly dancing around her room. Her eyes are closed as she sways with the music. Alicorn spins around and stops in front of her radio.
Alicorn turns her radio off and heads to her door. Before she exits she adjusts her clothes and smooths them out. She opens her door and exits her room. Alicorn ignores and comments from ship-girls as she passes them.
Alicorn enters the lunch room and some ships back away from as she moves to the lunch line. After a few minutes she gets her food and sits down by herself. Alicorn starts to eat.
"Alicorn!" A group of young voices yell.
Alicorn looks to the side and sees Team Destroyers as they run towards her. They reach Alicorn and sits around her at the table.
"Yes?" Alicorn asks.
"Hobby and friends learned about important naval battles of WW1!" Hobby says.
Kalk fps her arms. "They were so cool!"
"I'm going to go down in history as the best destroyer!" Echo says as she eats a piece of candy.
"Do you have any interesting battle stories, Miss Alicorn." Belchan asks.
Alicorn freezes up. <> <
"Miss Alicorn?"Belchan calls out.
Alicorn shakes her head and snaps back to reality. "Sorry, it's just... I'll tell you all when you are old."
"Awww." The group becomes disappointed.
'I don't want the only people that like me here, to hate me.' Alicorn looks away from their disappointed faces.
"Hobby wanted to learn why you showed up at base all damaged." Hobby says.
"I bet you battle a really powerful siren and kicked it's butt!" Echo says with stars in her eyes.
"You saved the day, I bet!" Kalk smiles.
"You did what Enterprise, Hood and some HO ships couldn't do!" Belcahn says.
Alicorn grips her dress under the table and grits her teeth. "Yeah, sure, that's what happened." She doesn't have the courage to tell the kids the truth. That she tried to kill many people and ruin these kids futures. 'I'm a monster! Nothing but a disgusting siren byproduct. Maybe everyone's right, I should have sank that day.'
"Miss Alicorn." A couple soldiers march up to her.
Alicorn looks to them. "Yes?"
"We have orders to bring you to Commander Sicilia."
Alicorn sighs and she stands up. "I'm sorry to cut this sort children, but I must go."
"Awww." The kids say in disappointment again.
Alicorn grabs her tray and dumps the food. Then she follows the soldiers out of the room and across the base.
Alicorn and the two soldiers stop in front of a door. The two soldiers stand on either side of the door as Alicorn enters.
Inside Enterprise is sitting in a chair in front of Sicilia. Sicilia is panicking and sweating.
"I'm sure they're fine, Commander." Enterprise tries to calm Sicilia down.
"B-But their transmission cut out a-a-and we haven't heard from them in ten minutes!" Sicilia panics.
"Hello?" Alicorn calls out as she shuts the door.
The two turn to her.
"A-Alicorn, thanks for coming." Sicilia wipes some sweat from her brow.
Enterprise looks at Sicilia. "You want me to bring her with me?"
Sicilia nods. "I-It's been two months and she's been on her best behavior. S-S-So I think it's t-time we put her on m-missions."
Alicorn walks over and stands behind the second chair that's next to Enterprise.
"I don't think it's a good idea." Enterprise says.
"M-Miss Enterprise, my w-word is final." Sicilia tries to act tough. "And from now on, any mission she goes on, you will be with her." She says without stuttering.
Enterprise huffs and crosses her arms.
"Commander, what's this about?" Alicorn asks.
Sicilia starts to sweat again. "U-um, we-we lost contact with a patrol a few hours ago and twenty minutes ago we r-re-received an SOS signal, but it cut out halfway through. W-W-We don't know the e-e-exact location of the patrol, but we have it n-narrowed down to an 8 kilometer a-area." She wipes some sweat from her brow and she adjusts her gsses. "We had a few HO ships along with a couple Ship-girls. W-W-We had Light Cruiser Montpelier. Light C-C-Cruiser Raleigh. Heavy Cruiser Vincennes. Light A-A-A-Aircraft Carrier Independence. H-HO Ship Tanager. HO Ship Pelican. HO S-S-S-Ship Rose. HO Ship Naiad."
"That's a lot of ships for one patrol group." Alicorn says.
Sicilia adjusts her gces. "Well, there's been h-h-heavy sightings and contact of Sirens in that area. S-S-S-So we had to increase the s-size of the patrols t-there."
"And your just sending us two?"
"Commander doesn't want to cause panic within the base that a rge patrol group just loses contact randomly." Enterprise informs.
"So we're keeping on a need to know basis?" Alicorn asks and Sicilia nods.
"I-I need you two to sortie now." Sicilia says. "Alicorn, we're giving you ammo for your main battery and AA guns. But your rail guns and cannon are still on lock. We're also only giving you one of your 'Jets'. P-Please understand that this i-is a precaution, m-m-many people are still weary about y-y-you."
Alicorn nods. "I understand."
Sicilia wipes some sweat off her brow. "Th-Thank you. Now, please go and find that p-p-patrol group and find out what h-happened. And a final n-note, you won't have any e-e-eyes in the sky on this m-mission."
The two ship girls stand up and salute. "Yes, Ma'am."
A few minutes ter.
Enterprise and Alicorn sail out of the docks a Team Destroyers watches them.
"I wonder where they're going?" Echo questions.
"Maybe they're going on a spy mission." Kalk says.
"I'm sure it's just a simple patrol." Belchan says.
"Hobby thinks Alicorn will have a great story to tells us after!" Hobby says.
An hour ter.
Alicorn and Enterprise sail through the ocean. The two are on the bows of their ships.
"We're entering the search area." Enterprise says to Alicorn as she unches a few pnes from her ship. "Keep your eyes open."
"Right." Alicorn agrees.
The two ships sail along the search area.
Alicorn's siren eyes search along the horizon and she sees smoke pilrs in the distance. "Enterprise! I've got something!"
"Where?" Enterprise asks.
"2 O'clock about 1 kilometer."
Enterprise looks off in the directions Alicorn said and she sees the smoke pilrs. Enterprise holds her hand out and unches a pne. After a few minutes Alicorn sweats. "We've got casualties!" The two ships tail swiftly towards the smoke. "I don't see any movement, but they definitely are our ships."
"This is bad." Alicorn mutters.
The two ships reach the smoke and they see a gruesome scene. Burning ships float upon the water. Fire is everywhere and blood is everywhere. A few small explosions go off on one of the HO ships and it sinks. Bodies float everywhere.
"What caused all this?" Enterprise asks as she summons her rigging and nds on top the water.
"Deliverance." Alicorn summons her rigging and nds on top of the water. Alicorn looks around and studies one of the sinking HO ships. "It was definitely sirens, these ships have ser damage."
"But they would have to be caught off guard if they couldn't send out an SOS until te." Enterprise looks around and the bodies.
"I have a bad feeling." Alicorn mutters as she and Enterprise walk amongst the wreckage.
Enterprise gasps as she spots someone. "Montpelier!" Enterprise runs over to someone floating on their back.
Enterprise kneels down to the ship girl as Alicorn walks over. Montpelier is covered in wounds and her rigging is completely damaged.
Enterprise lifts up Montpelier's head and shakes her. "Montpelier! Montpelier!"
Montpelier slowly opens an eye and coughs. "Enterprise?" She questions.
"What happened?"
Montpelier coughs as she tries to sit up, Enterprise helps her. "It was so sudden. We were just talking amongst ourselves and making some jokes, when suddenly Independence picked something up on her radar." She thinks back and we see Independence in front of the rge patrol group with a hand up to her ear. "She was there one second..."
"Incoming!" Independence voice rings out.
"Then gone the next." Tears fall from Montpelier eyes.
A bright blue fsh goes off on Independence location and a rge explosion rings out, and pushes everyone down. Montpelier gets back up and looks to Independence location, only to see the aircraft carrier blown apart and sinking. Blood rises from the ocean."INDEPENDENCE!" She screams out.
"What hit you?" Alicorn asks as she looks around in caution. Her rigging looks around too.
"I-I don't know." Montpelier groans in pain. "But then a massive object came out of the clouds above us. A rge aircraft that had two rge propellers in the back and six smaller ones too. Suddenly many objects started to fall from the thing and they sprouted wings. The thing had drones on it." She starts to cough and Enterprise pulls out a canteen and helps Montpelier drink some water.
"So you guys we're hit with a bomb of sorts?" Enterprise asks. "But a bomb doesn't seem to have done this kind of damage."
Montpelier shakes her head. "The bomb didn't do the rest of this, the drones and something else did this. This thing had a ser that just started to cut us down one by one." She starts to cry.
"Where are the others?"
"I-I don't know. It was chaos, I-I could't find the others."
Enterprise summons her ship and lifts up Montpelier in her arms. She jumps up onto the deck of her ship and sets Montpelier down, then jumps back down to Alicorn.
"We need to quickly search for the others." Enterprise says to Alicorn and she nods.
Enterprise and Alicorn swiftly move through the wreckage and Alicorn finds someone. Alicorn runs over to the body in the water and kneels down to the girl.
Blood and bruises cover Raleigh and Alicorn brings a hand to her neck and checks for a pulse. Alicorn sighs in relief as she finds one, but it's faint. The sub picks up the girl and runs towards Enterprise's ship.
"I found one, but she's heavily injured!" Alicorn yells to Enterprise, who's on her deck.
Alicorn jumps up and sees Enterprise setting down another ship girl, who is heavily injured.
Vincennes groans in pain. "I can hardly move."
Alicorn sets Raleigh down and looks back out to the wreckage. Enterprise walks up next to her. "I don't see any humans still alive." Enterprise sighs. "This shouldn't have happened."
"The Sirens made something new." Alicorn says. "Must've done it after I failed."
"I just hope whatever it is, we can take it down."
Alicorn's rigging starts to move around and roar towards the sky. Alicorn looks up and spots some objects coming down from the clouds. "Drones!" She yells.
"Alicorn, deal with them." Enterprise orders. "I'll do my best from the back, but I have to focus on these three."
Alicorn summons her MiG-29k and she jumps on it. "Got it!"

Alicorn flies up and the middle head of her rigging opens up and she grabs the sword and pulls it out. "Definitive." The sword changes into a crossbow.
The group of drones drop from the sky and fly towards Alicorn. Alicorn rises up her bow and fires an arrow. Her jet lets loose a couple missiles. The drones let loose a couple missiles on Alicorn.
The arrow sms into the front of a drone and blows it up. The drones break off and do evasive maneuvers as they fly away from Alicorn's missiles.
Alicorn's jet releases some fres as it takes evasive maneuvers.

Alicorn looks up and sees more drones and missiles come from the clouds. "Tch." Alicorn does a barrel roll as a few missiles fly past her. Her rigging open their mouths and fire the cannons in their mouths at the drones flying around her.
One of the drones blows up, and another takes some damage and starts to smoke. Alicorn fires her bow at another Drone and she takes its wing off and it crashes down towards the ocean.
A couple of Dougss' come in and start to engage the drones.
Alicorn's jet take evasive maneuvers as another missile flies past it and it fires it's machine gun into a drone, blowing it up.

Alicorn's jet dives towards the ocean as a bright blue light goes off and a massive explosion blows through the air. "That must be the thing that took Independence out." Alicorn's heart races as she flies after another drone.

Beeping rings out in Alicorn's head as many missiles fly around her and her jet releases some fres. She fires her bow at a jet and blows it up.
Alicorn's jet fires a couple missiles and they travel through the air and manage to take down a drone.
Alicorn rubs her head as she hears nothing but beeping as missiles just keep coming from the clouds and the drones.
A couple of Enterprise's pnes take down a few drones, but a drone blows one of them up. Alicorn's rigging roars and they fire onto a group of drones.
Alicorn looks behind her and sees a drone tailing her. She swiftly turns around and fires her bow, taking out the drone.
Alicorn's jet releases more fres as a few missiles fly under her jet. Alicorn sweats a little as a few drones do a gun run on her. A bullet sms into Alicorn and she runs in pain as a wound on her arm starts to bleed.
Her jet releases more fres.

Alicorn flies as fast as she can and a rge blue explosion goes off a little ways behind her, taking a few drones with it. Her jet releases more fres.
Alicorn's jet fires four missiles and they travel through the air and blows up a couple drones. She fires off her bow as her riggings fire onto some drones.
A couple Dougss' fly past Alicorn and chases off a couple of drones that were tailing Alicorn. Alicorn's jet does a barrel roll and a few missiles fly by.

Alicorn grunts as she speeds up and a rge blue explosion goes off behind her, and this one nearly throws her off the jet she's on.
Alicorn reloads her cross-bow and fires onto a drone, blowing it up. Then she pulls her jet up as a drone flies past her, shooting its machine guns.
Beeping goes off in Alicorn's head and she goes to release some fres.
"Ammunition Zero." A robotic voice says in Alicorn's head.
"Huh?" Alicorn questions and a missile sms into her jet.

Alicorn's jet flies out of a smoke cloud, smoke coming from one of the jet engines. Blood falls from the side of Alicorn's mouth. "I'm fine." Her rigging roars in anger and fires onto a few drones.

Alicorn grunts as her jet shoots down a couple more drones. "I'm fine with that." She adjusts her military coat.
Alicorn flies towards Enterprise and she looks back to see the drones retreat into the clouds. Alicorn narrows her siren yellow eyes and sees a massive object within the clouds.
The drones fly to the rge pne and flip upside down and move under the wings of the thing and attach to it. The hairs on the back of Alicorn's neck rises up. "I feel like I'm being watched, like I'm the prey, instead of the predator."

"Right."
Alicorn flies down to Enterprise. "Salvation." Alicorn's rigging, Jet and bow disappear and her sub appears in the water below her. A few small fires light on the ship. Alicorn nds on her ship and she stumbles a little.
"You okay?" Enterprise calls out.
"I'm fine, just some light damage." Alicorn wipes the blood away from her mouth.
Enterprise puts a hand up to her ear. "Enterprise to Eagle Union Base of Hawaii. We're RTB, but we have heavily injured ships. Prep a medical crew immediately."

Alicorn looks back to the wreckage behind her and the st HO ship skins below the water.
"Only the dead have seen the end of war." Alicorn narrates. "I've seen death before, but I was not prepared for the sorrows that followed the death of these people that lost their lives so suddenly."
An hour ter Enterprise and Alicorn sail into port and people are running about. Vestal and a group of soldiers with stretchers run down the docks towards the two. Clevend and her sisters along with Sicilia are not far behind them.
Alicorn and Enterprise move Montpelier, Vincennes and Raleigh onto the docks as the medical team reach them.
Vestal starts giving orders to the medical team as they load the three injured ships onto the stretcher and give them some quick medical attention.
Clevend and her sisters run over to Montpelier.
"Montpelier!" Clevend shouts as she kneels down to her injured sister. "Are you okay?"
"A few days in medical will be able to fix me." Montpelier says.
"Where's I-Independence?" Denver asks and Montpelier doesn't respond.
Sicilia reaches them. "Enterprise, Alicorn, I don't see Independence, where is she?"
"She didn't make it." Enterprise states.
Sicilia breath hitches and tears form in her eyes. "W-What?"
"They faced a new enemy and it wasn't merciful." Alicorn informs.
The Clevend sisters go quiet.
"We need to get these three moving." Vestal calls out. "Alicorn come see me to get a check up on you."
Alicorn just nods as medical team takes the three injured ships away from the docks. Clevend wipes some tears forming in her eyes.
Alicorn watches as the Clevend sister mourn for the loss of a friend and a sister.
Later that night.
Alicorn, with a bandage on her left arm, is leaning against a building as she watches a funeral ceremony from a distance. Everyone on base is gathered at the docks for the funeral. The families of the soldiers that where on those HO ships are there.
Sicilia is giving a speech as many pictures of the soldiers who lost their lives are behind her. Even Independence's picture is there. "These brave soldiers that lost their lives at sea today, will never be forgotten. Their bravery against the face of a new siren threat will be remembered for the generations to come. I, Commander Alice Sicilia, want to give my heartfelt apologies to the families of the soldiers."
Ship girls holding folded fgs and medals move to the families and hand them the fg and medals. A ship girl moves over to Clevend and gives her a fg and medal. Clevend holds the fg tightly as tears fall from her eyes. Her sister hug her tightly as they also start to cry.
Sicilia releases a shaky breath. "With this new threat, Eagle Union will increase their strength and not stop until this unknown threat is dealt with and these waters become safer. I promise the families here today, we will avenge your fallen Brothers, Fathers, Sisters, Mothers. Me and my fleet will make these water a pce to have fun again, and not to be feared."
"I will not pretend to know what they're going through, even though I've killed my own father. I hardly feel anything." Alicorn narrates as she walks away from the docks. "Besides, who cares what a siren thinks."
