  *weekend, hunting with Alice

  "Shit! Alice, why the hell didn't you warn me?! I could have taken care of it before the family got here! Repeating same mistakes, are we? And then that smart-ass Jasper!" I let out frustrated sight. "If you warned me in time, we wouldn't have to deal with this mess at all!"

  "Well Eddie boy, YOU didn't tell me you would go there! When you wanted me to che the situation and if everything will go smoothly, you thought only about Seattle! There was nothing about you following her all the way back! When I saw what you'd do, it was too te. Also I warned you about w with randue nomads. And her? I didn't see her either and 't even now!" She got angry at me. heless, I knew what she was saying was true. "Ok, ok." I tried to calm her. But I was restless and impatient myself. "So what now? With just the family, it would be easy but the Whitlocks, especially that Jasper. What the heck are we gonna do about it?"  '...shouldn't know a thing.   Her eyes fshed with hatred. "It's her! She rui! Why the hell couldn't I see her?! I could have prevent it! He is mine!"

  /fshback - Monday after the first meeting/

  The first day at Forks High after sixty years. Everything here looks pretty much the same as back then. Still the same b lessons, even though the teachers are different, just like the students. Nothing iing.

  Me and Alice have the same schedule together with Rosalie. Emmett with Jasper have a different one. Rose pihat we got to be together, while Emmett has different csses than her.

  I don't really uand what for, this Jasper has to go to school with us. Well, Carlisle told us, he would but I haven't seen him sihe meeting. Acc to Carlisle's thoughts, that Peter-guy sent him a message. So, Carlisle arrahe enrollment for all five of us, ing up with a backstory about the Jasper being some family friend or whatever and now living with us. Carlisle did all that and the idiot doesn't even bother to show up.

  Unlike Alice, excited as ever, who went already ahead and probably is at our desk, waiting for our forth css which is Spanish to begin, I was walking slowly through the hall, already annoyed and bored to death. Spanish is the only css we all have together. It's an advanced one. I am not too happy about being in the same room as that guy if he'd e, but it's still better than listening to the basics of Spanish from a teacher, who is uo hold a versation in the nguage he's teag. Pitiful. And after that we'd have to act human in two secutive PE csses. Another hard pass.

  Then I heard it. The rhythm of the heart pumping the sweetest blood I've ever tasted, lurio sink my teeth into the white flesh of her neck. Oher end of the hall, by the exit. Hair like raven's wings swinging behind her as she walked, exposing the side of her neck, where I could see the pulsating of her blood. I let the blood lust lead me towards what I thought did anymore. She's leaving the school early, good. No one will notibsp;Crossed my mind as I started to make my way to the exit as well. However, suddenly there was Ali front of me.

  "Ssssh, Eddie, Eddie!" She was frantievertheless, mao get me out of my tranbsp; "What is it Alice?!" I demanded, fed up by her getting in my way. "I don't know what. You tell ME! I couldn't see anything but you. Dead!" She rushed through the words so quickly that I had a hard time keeping up. Then I saw it in her head. I was covered in the girl's blood, her lifeless body on the ground. Just little further behind the sy own body torn to pieces and these were put on fire leaving nothing but a speck of ashes.

  Alice's eyes widened when she looked behind me. "Now it makes sense." She breathed out. Looking over my shoulder I uood. "Him, huh?" Showed up, after all. I suppose I'll o watch out around him. Moreover, when Alice ot 'see' him.

  "What were you about to do that resulted in him killing you? Because that's the only clusion I e to. He's the only one capable of doing so, who I ot see." Asked Ali a whisper so quiet that even another vampire, not close enough, couldn't hear her.  "Her... she had a daughter. She resembles her mother so much. That blood... is calling me." My eyes darted to the exit again. "Stop thinking about her! Somehow you killing her, means Jasper ends up killing you. So, you should be careful around him and keep as far from 'her' as possible." Interrupted Alice my daydreaming about 'that' night.

  "How in the world would these two be ected? He just arrived here." I thought out loud, fused. "I have no idea but they are, so stay away from her if you don't wanna die, apparently." She warned me.

  It's been two weeks already and I didn't mao get her somewhere alone. Damn it! Whenever I find her, HE's there. Watg every her move. Even these four idiots didn't prove to be of any use to me.
