Rule [X+Y]...?
I don't know what magick you are pnning, but that is not a red or blue truth! Normal text isn't going to beat out Madi-san!
Taking a closer look at the two twenty-sided dice held within Sachiko-senpai's fingers, they drip with dark viscous ink that I recognize as Sachiko-senpai's magick! Each of them have indented markings; ivory white carving for the die dyed in red, blood red for the die carved in bck!
"Fufu... There is a simple way to summarize what you two met with tonight."
There is? How would you know that?
"Madison, catch!"
Sachiko-senpai throws the bck die for Madi-san, who catches it deftly in her fingers! Not seeming to mind the inky darkness that drips out of it, Madi-san turns the die around with her fingers, inspecting each side. When she does, each inspected side lights up with a red glow! Accompanying this red glow is the proverbial sound of the locks in Madi-san's head clunking off, her eyes going wide when she reaches the final side!
"「Nande」...! As expected of our local /x/drawf (の)g! This is close to what I thought happened tonight! But... But...! Its like its missing something as well...!"
Missing something, Madi-san? You're not going to find it looking left and right on the stage! I think... Well, whatever revetion you came to probably was only hanbun of what you needed! I believe that the other half of what you are looking for...
... is on the second dice that Sachiko is holding onto now!
"Ayano is correct. Since you have acknowledged Rule X, I believe you will won't have problems with Rule Y either, Madi-san!"
"Ehehehe! Does this mean that the great Trabul Twin reunion is at hand?!?!"
"No, I'm graduated already. But... I shall leave Rule Y in Ayano's hands!"
Saying thus, Sachiko pces the red die with ivory inscriptions in my hand. Unlike with Madi-san's, mine doesn't light up at all. It stays completely inert, not much different from normal die. Even the inky liquid that was being emanated dries up and vanishes into the air when it comes into my fingers.
"... Sachiko-senpai. I think mine is broken."
"Its not broken. You just haven't thought this through yet." She lightly pulls at my green jacket to get me into a standing position. My blue eyes are still transfixed on the red die that Sachiko-senpai gave me. If these two dice work in the same way, I suppose that they represent the true solution to turn a conspiracy into a mystery...!
Doesn't this mean that I've already won by default?
As my thoughts nd, a malevolent ugh comes across the stage!
"Ehe... Ehehehe! I see! So that's it! You're still doing that! And here I thought graduating turned you into a normie, Sachiin'! You're still >you!! That's the KIDS ARE CRUEL, AND I LOVE Sachiko I know!!"
Huh? Your words got garbled up there. You mean Sachiko-senpai is kind, generous, and would do no harm to her friends, right?
"You don't get it, Aya-chan! Sachiin' merely put us on even footing! If I figure out the truths on YOUR dice... I can perfectly conceal the conspiracy on mine! Then you'll be crying and sheetoing yourself again going 'bewd bewd, I don't understand'!!!"
You purple-haired Frxnchwoman!
Like that's going to happen!
I'll figure out the truths on YOUR dice AND mine first!
When that happens, I'll tear you and all your conspiracies apart!
"And there you have it, each of you now hold half of what you desire. With this, Madi-san will not be able to bulli you, much."
But what if I want to bully Madi-san?
"Oi! I can hear you from up here, Aya-chan! You didn't even try to /whisper!!"
"Then you will have to figure out the full mystery, both your side and Madison's side.
These are two completely separate things, so there's no overp in truths.
Probably.
Think of it as a race.
A race to figure out the other side's truth before they figure yours out.
The more the other side grasps your truth...
Fufu...!! The more they will be able to bulli you!!!"
At that st sentence, Sachiko-senpai's face darkens with considerable shadow, her red eyes slightly glowing in the undershade of her giant witch hat! Perhaps it was a small trick of the theater lighting? souka, that must be it! Sachiko-senpai wouldn't do anything that would put me in danger, would she? She's probably directing all that malice at Madi-san to prevent her from bullying me!
I can only force a nervous gulp down and trust Sachiko-senpai for now.
I'm thankful that Sachiko-senpai has pointed a way out for me, but Madi-san is in complete understanding of her side of truths...! Judging by the number of sides this dice has, I assume that there are at least twenty truths I need to figure out. I am at a severe disadvantage here!
>implying you needed all of them"Huh? Sachiko-senpai? What was that?"
When Sachiko-senpai spoke, the entire theater fshed a light green, her words travelling across the top of the screen in a simir fashion to my [Truths, Red and Blue]!
It was simir...
... but completely different!
This was magick for sure...!
"Oh dear, force of habit." Sachiko-senpai makes a mirthful ugh while pulling the top of her wide-brim down to hide her eyes.
That's when the udderly-deranged Frxnchwoman spoke.
"Hmm hmm! Now is a good time to introduce the >greentext!!"
What? Madi-san. What are you doing.
Using colored text is MY gimmick!
>lol lmao even>implying implications>implying that umifags came before board culture>magical chef every thread until we reach the golden nd!>she probably doesnt even triforce>get wrekt by the green>smugpepe.jpegMadi-san doesn't even need to speak those thoughts, they form instantaneously like lines of spikes behind her, fired off one by one in rapid succession! Each incoming line beats the side of my face as it passes me by, turning this small and cute detective into a spinning top controlled by the passing ridged strings of green! When the relentless assault ceased, I finally fell down on my behind, slumped against a closed theater chair! The >greentext had deeply embedded into the red cushioning of the chairs around me, to devastating effect...!
"Are you okay, Ayano?" Sachiko-senpai puts a silk-gloved hand to her face, lightly covering the front of her smile with a pinched thumb and index finger!
"What... what was that?! Why can Madi-san use MY magick now?!"
In the past, Madi-san had only been able to use the red and blue in response to my accusations. That was par for the course, the biichii will always try to twist everything she gets her hands on..
But now...
Madi-san is spewing absolute nonsense without any prompting from me!
What is going on?!
Something lifts the groggy me up from behind the theater seats by both shoulder, pcing me onto one in the front row! In my dazed and blurry vision where I don't even know if I am coming or going, I can hear Sachiko-senpai start speaking into my ear,
"That was the >greentext, Ayano. Its power is to create a narrative."
Narrative?
"Get that glowie speak outta here, Sachiin'!
All you do with the >greentext is post creepypasta about aliens putting you in a washing machine!"
"Homu homu, I thought those were quarantine torture boxes, actually..."
I don't understand...
"The power of the >greentext is to create implications. When there are enough of them, they can form a narrative, or a story that may be more powerful than any truth you can muster...!"
I... don't even...
I don't understand.
That was what I was hit by?
How can that be harder than the red, absolute truth?
How can that be more logical than the blue, factually reached truth?
Is there even any advantage to using that over my own personal magick?!?!
"Homu homu, that is something you have to find yourself, Aya-chan~" An auburn shadow leans over, waving a friendly hand to see if I am able to respond.
Eyelids drooping, I can feel a heavy drowsiness take over my head. It isn't just the blow from before, it is all the accumuted fatigue from the entire twenty chapters tonight! There's no more thinking to be had for me for now.
"Welp, Aya-chan is completely f(あ)cked now!
Its just you and me, Sachiin'!
Now that the annoying detective is out of the way...
... I gotta ask, what were you up to the st two months?"
The sides of Sachiko-senpai's ears prick up. She turns around to look at Madi-san with an expression I cannot see through the back of her wide-brim.
Leaving (me) and my side for dead, Sachiko-senpai crosses over and steps up the side of the stage, each menacing step on the side stairs leaving a bootprint caked in inky bck!
"Oh? you really want to know?"
"Yeah!! I wanna know, even if I have to beat it outta you!"
"Then, why don't you try asking nicely??"
As the madwoman on the right approaches menacingly with her trademarked malevolent grin, the stage's rge red curtains cover are pulled to a close! From the gap underneath those curtains, I can see intermittent fshes of green go off again and again,
again and again...
again and again...
until I fall asleep again...
