I Did A Thing

  Good evening everyone,

Part of my concern with this book/story, is that to do it justice I need to have the songs written beforehand. That said, I've begun to create a channel to monitor these in the future. Link is down below, but here is one of the songs that will be used in Book 2 (when I feel I have enough material for this story).

  Song: Death of A Hero

  [intro]

  [verse]

We all watch her, even in a dress

Powers galore, that heroes can’t ignore

  [chorus]

Can’t explain why I’m loved by the villainess

She’s so talented that I’m impressed

Got her powers, well I’ve got two

They are livin’ life and bein’ better than you

  [verse]

That’s right, I’m loved by the villainess

She is misunderstood by all the rest

Got those words that cut your soul

With her love she will make you whole

  [chorus]

Can’t explain why I’m loved by the villainess

She’s so talented that I’m impressed

Got her powers, well I’ve got two

They are livin’ life and bein’ better than you

  [verse]

Yet, despite it all, heroes often fall

Leavin’ room for the one who takes it all

Problem with you, is you know your through

You did all the things a good dog should do

  [chorus]

Can’t explain why I’m loved by the villainess

She’s so talented that I’m impressed

Got her powers, well I’ve got two

They are livin’ life and bein’ better than you

  [verse]

Still it wasn’t enough to catch her eye

She fell in love with me with a lie

Now I’ll do it all before I die

Bring you to tears and slip goodbye

Don’t look for me, I’m not your friend

  I was playing to pretend

all to lead you to this end

  Death by my villainess

Tell the truth, you are still impressed

Even with that dagger in your chest

  [verse]

  Just once again,

Don’t look for me, I’m not your friend

  [outro]
