Chapter 228: Feeling Blue? (R18!?)

White mist hung around Bubai like a gossamer shroud, softening the lighting into a more intimate haze and inducing waves of drowsiness that begged him to surrender to the cavern of bliss…

But as someone who was well-versed in a similar technique, Bubai couldn’t be any more familiar with this deceptive caress.

Bubai connected the dots on what indescribable act was happening.

Yo Merlin, was this sussy baka trying to dream fish him?! Heh. Dream on!

Yes, she was hot like Venus, and dangerous as a venus flytrap…

But thanks to his golden finger’s automatic dew defense and his body baptized by the foundation tribulation, he was still in full control!

No matter how skilled she was, she wasn’t getting past his defenses. He could stop her at anytime!

The only reason he didn’t stop her was because he wanted to see what game she was playing!

It wasn’t every day that Bubai gets a new target painted on his back.

To avoid being blindsided by an unseen arrow in the dark, it was wiser to see if he could find out more beforehand to flip the assassin from the dark into the light.

Once that happens, he won’t be caught by surprise so easily and could deal with blows that would’ve been fatal otherwise.

Better to pay a light price now rather than to face a heavy consequence later.

Letting this tropical woman polish his arrow was the least he could sacrifice in this game of espionage. That’s why he played along.

Of course, an act must be thorough.

So, even though he held the reins firmly and could hold it in as long as he liked, Bubai still put on a full show of a man gradually losing himself to lust…

His quickening breath, his tensed muscles... he followed the cookie cutter template of a horny male to the tee.

After an enjoyable customer service that stretched the limits of his acting, Bubai was now nearing the end stages of the blue balling drama.

Hence, he was now clenching his jaws and portrayed the perfect picture of a man who was almost there, but doing his best to hold it in while not trying to show it.

His full-fledged acting skills eventually won out and baited the sussy venus flytrap to bite down.

  "Ah la… Uncomfortable?"

Her purr was dripping with mock concern, and when her upturned eyes that had a smile in them met his, he almost couldn’t resist...

But Bubai held back and waited. Just as he suspected, she made an offer.

"Just be good and honestly tell sister everything and sister will make little brother feel... comfortable."

The lady was just sitting there, dangling a carrot and waiting for the starving man’s answer.

His goal had almost been reached, and he naturally won’t disappoint.

Letting his own eyes become half-lidded, Bubai laboriously panted out a "Yes…"

Susu smiled, a hint of triumph in her eyes. "Yes, that’s how it should be. Then, let’s get on with the first question…"

"Tell me. What is your relationship with the saintess?"

Saintess? What saintess? Bubai’s mind raced, stumbling over the name.

Could she be referring to the one at the Saintess Tent?

Oh no. Was this an interrogation to dig up spies of the Cloud Sword Sect?

Though he wasn’t personally a rescuer sent for the saintess, Bubai had long guessed he was tied to someone who was.

Not that he’d ever admit it.

Adopting a blank, confused face, Bubai innocently uttered, “Don’t know.”

Susu’s face took on an expression of mild amusement, as if she had expected this. "Ah la la... what a tough nut you are. Then how about this…"

Not giving the prey anytime to react, the serpent sprung forward...

But just after a lap of teasing, she stopped again and gave him another ultimatum.

“Come now. Be a good boy and tell sister everything. Tell me, and sister will continue to make you feel so good you’ll forget everything else.”

The intensity of her interrogation really left Bubai wanting for more, but even while he allowed his face to reflect a lost and needy expression, Bubai still managed a breathless, “Don’t know.”

The seductress eyed that vacant face staring down at her. Feeling her patience thinning, she leaked a coquettish sigh, "Wu…"

Knowing she was getting nowhere, the seductress changed her tactic.

“Then let’s change the question… Sister recalls you bought a rather special hat here not long ago. Does little brother remember?”

Hat? Bubai peeked over to the counter out from the corner of his eyes.

As expected, there was no new specialty on display at the spot where the beret had been previously been showcased.

That beret… was it a trap after all?

Bubai’s reaction was almost imperceptible, though the slight shift didn’t go unnoticed by the seasoned interrogator’s keen radar.

Susu let out a soft, knowing giggle and cooed, “Ah la la... it seems little brother does remember. Now, tell sister, why did you buy it?”

Bubai was aware he had been cornered. If he still gives a perfunctory answer, it will only lead to more suspicions.

Luckily, he had a ready excuse.

“I bought… to gift to someone.”

Seeing the man’s breathing was slow and deep, as if he were in a trance, Susu struck while the iron was hot. “Who?”

  “Wei...wei.”

  “Where is this Weiwei?”

  “Dead.”

The answer bland as a cold fog left Susu dissatisfied and her she prodded him for more, “How did she die?”

“I… don’t know.” All leads cleanly cut off once more.

“Ah la la... it seems this is another dead end.”

Susu's eyes narrowed with both challenge and amusement. “But a good boy willing to say more deserves a small reward…”

  With that, the teaser began…

The tease was really too much, and Bubai knew it was high time he brought this game to an end, lest he blows his cover.

But just when he was about to test the end results of his well-practiced composure, she pulled away.

The act of being brought to the brink only to be left hanging resulted in his body twitching involuntarily.

Catching this reaction, Susu’s charming eyes flashed with a peculiar light.

Studying him with renewed interest, she purred. “Ah la… Almost there… If little brother wants to feel good, stop being difficult and tell sister... what is your relationship with Feng Qi?”

Feng who? It only took a second for his memory to be jogged.

Uh… Could she be talking about... Officer Ponytail?

Bubai’s mind scrambled, trying to piece together the identity behind the name.

Truthfully, there really wasn’t any relationship to speak of, except for a few run-ins…

She had been picky about him a few times while a few warnings were also given in good faith.

Not good nor bad. No hostility, but he still feels targeted.

It’s hard to tell whose side Officer Ponytail was on. Her antics really left him tangled.

But obviously, Bubai wasn’t about to reveal these tangled truth.

So, he decided to keep it simple. “I… Don’t... know.”

"Don’t know again." Susu puckered her lips, her voice becoming a touch sharper, “Then what do you know?”

Bubai met her gaze with a vacant stare and said nothing, letting his silence speak volumes.

Sometimes, saying less was safer, lest he accidentally says something wrong.

Seeing the man playing a dumb fool, Susu was disatisfied. “Ah… What a naughty little brother. Too bad sister doesn’t have time to play with you all day.”

At her side, the sole audience to their entire show stepped forward. “Mistress, allow me.”

“No.” Susu dismissively waved off the wheat-skinned attendant, eyeing the answer to her hard work with some possessiveness glinting in her eyes.

  “This one is mine.”

Before anyone could react further, Susu went all out, even going as far as holding his waist to dictate his ending!

Feeling the unexpected strength of the arms that left no room for escape, Bubai’s dull eyes flashed with a strange brilliance, but he didn’t make any attempt to break free.

Since his plans had veered onto that new route, there was no harm in spreading his branches further to expand his options.

One more option, one more variable, and possibly... one more lifeline.

Deciding it was time to play his part to the fullest, Bubai let this charming green tea get a taste of exactly what she wanted…

  About 69X words later...

Susu rose up from the prayer cushion that had been laid out at an unknown time.

The successful sales assistant helped the victim pull on his pants and slipped on the white robe handed to her by her attendant.

Seeing Bubai still standing there like a block of wood, Susu gave his face a gentle pat, “Remember, forget everything that happened. You only came to buy some clothes. Now...”

A wave of her hand parted the dreamy mist like a curtain. Then- Snap.

Her fingers gave him the signal for awakening from the “hypnosis”.

Bubai blinked slowly, his lips parting as if he lost his ability to speak. “Huh…? What… I was...”

His murmur trailed off into nothingness and he blankly stared back at Susu, who took the fancy garments from her attendant’s arms and stuffed them into his.

“Young master, the clothes you paid for.”

“Oh...” Bubai took the colorful outfits and awkwardly stuffed them into his storage pouch.

Susu gave him a pleasant smile.

“If there’s nothing else, then Susu won’t take up more of young master’s precious time. Just let Susu know if young master ever want something… more custom-tailored."

Still wearing a dazed face, Bubai nodded, “Then… goodbye.”

He then turned around, shuffling out of the store like a zombie, every step calculated to reinforce the illusion that he was under her spell.

Watching the man’s departing back, Susu rubbed her own lips with a thoughtful look. “Ah la la... things are getting interesting.”
