A few days ter, Tia arrived at the headquarters of the "Alliance of All Living Things" with Tiffany and the others.
“Everyone, yic tools are ready.”
Tia pulled fical devices out of her ste bag and pced them oable.
“Let me see how they perform!”
As a skilled magitegineer with a passion for her craft, Tia took immense pride in her creations. If the tools weren't issioned and were instead her own projects, she might even hem herself.
Misako picked up a set of bells first—a design inspired by the kagura suzu often used by shrine maidens in another world.
“I incorporated circuits and materials to aid the use of lightning, fire, and water magic, along with features like levitation and spell ste. The design is also adjusted to align with your unique magical energy.”
“...Indeed, I don’t feel the usual disfort I get from using magical tools.”
As a member of a yokai , Misako’s magical energy, often referred to as "yokai power," differed from standard magic. When she used ordinary magic tools powered by ventional magic, she often experienced a jarriion. Even modern magitech devices designed for various races couldn’t fully elimihis issue.
However, with this kagura suzu, eling her yokai power felt seamless—like a newly unclogged pipe.
“The spell ste fun… isn’t it usually a oime use feature that needs recharging?”
“Heh, who do you think I am? A genius magitegineer! Rec spells, activating them as needed, and auto-reloading the ste is just ara step for me. Nothing too difficult.”
Normally, magical tools came with preset circuits for specific spells. This allowed the user to activate preloaded abilities but also locked the tool into those funs. Tia’s design for the kagura suzu, however, went against vention, leaving a bnk space that users could ize. parable to “hot-sing” in another world, it let Misako record and use her own spells, then easily repce them when needed.
For someone like Misako, who relied on a medium to cast yokai arts, this was a signifit improvement. She no longer o worry about running out of talismans.
“Thank you! This exceeds my expectations.”
“I really outdid myself this time! Now, let’s check the others.”
As Tia spoke, Veridith slipped on a sleeve device that covered her forearm.
“Is this… a small sword?”
“Exactly, it’s a hidden bde. Just activate this meism.”
“Like this… Whoa!”
Pop!
Veridith triggered the meism, and a short bde shot out from the underside of the sleeve. Tia’s craftsmanship ehe design erfectly safe—no risk of actal injuries. Still, the sudden motion startled Veridith and evetle creature perched on her shoulder, Pupu.
“You’ll notice grooves and patterns on the bde. Those are for holding venom. And sinagic is quite strong, this bde also ge forms.”
Tia demonstrated how the bde could fold into a dagger, shoot poisoned needles, deploy a grappling hook, and even transform into a miniature gun. When the bde extended further, it could fun as a maginon capable of eling energy or spells.
This level of innovation clearly surpassed what could be achieved in another world without magid creativity. Even Veridith, who usually preferred straightforward bat and prided herself on her draic strength, became enthralled by the idea of pying the role of an “assassin.”
Though her dragon form wasn’t suited for stealth, in her human shape, the hidden bde allowed her to embody the elegand "purity" she inally envisioned.
“As for Miss Farkonia’s wand, si o support all elemental attributes, it has fewer added funainly the ability to adjust its size and some versatile features.”
“That’s perfectly fi’s exactly what I wanted.”
Farkonia put on an earring lio her wand. The accessory enhanced her mature aura, a testament to Tia’s impeccable aesthetise.
“And stly, Miss Aris…”
“It’s Arymm now.”
It seemed Aris had yet to wake from her dormant state—or perhaps she was awake but passively from within. For now, Arymm remained in trol of the body.
“Uood. Miss Arymm, here’s your wand.”
Unfazed by the unusual situation, Tia handed over ao Arymm.
“...A belt?”
Arymm examihe dark gray belt in her hand. Short and narrow, it didn’t even seem suitable for wearing around the waist.
“This isn’t a belt—it’s meant to be worn around your thigh.”
“?”
“Let me show you.”
Misako took the belt and faste around Arymm’s thigh. Since Arymm’s outfit was a sleeveless white dress with a translut hemlihe bination of her pale skin and the dark gray thigh strap created a striking visual effect.
“This won’t interfere with bat and looks stylish too.”
Misako, having read about “thigh bands” in another world, was curious to see someone wear one in real life and decided to experiment with Arymm.
“Let me expin further. This wand doesn’t enhance elemental magic but focuses entirely on durability, self-repair, and fual funs like endurance, recovery speed, and magic efficy.”
For Aris/Arymm, simplicity was key. Boosting basic stats was suffit, making the design straightforward yet effective.
“...By the way, I’ve been curious—what does your wand look like?” Veridith suddenly asked Tia.
“Well, I ofte inspired and make different tools, but this one is my current go-to.”
Tia revealed a blue bat with a bear-shaped grip at one end and two halos at the other.
“Her name is ‘Aiffany’s wife, Naf, named her. Something about it resembling a on from a game in her past life. I didn’t catch all the details.”
“Wait, Naf’s a reinator too?!”
