  After beating blair, Everyone walks over. "Love is on her mind zane," Alexis retorts

  "Zane you're here!" Blair exclaims with a blush. "I guess you know... I'm the one who snuck into your dorm, not jaden. I've been in love with you ever since we met..."

  Zane nods. "Mhmm, at nationals."

  "Yeah! We met after you beat robert in the championship!"

  I groan. "I lose one time and that's all I'm known for!"

  I feel a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "Thats ok." I look over and see alexis with a smile on her face. "Who cares if you lost? I saw that same duel and I saw you put your all into it. and that's a win on its own. i mean, who else can say they came close to beating zane? let alone actually beat him later? i remember now why you said your last duel with zane was a fluke. it was cause you knew that he could beat you if you weren't that lucky, right? so keep your chin up, its not a good look for you if you're moping."

  I blush. "Y-yeah, that's a good point... thanks." I look over to blair who is still talking to zane.

  "And now that I'm here, we can get married!"

  Jaden laughs. "HA! get married... that's a good one. your honeymoon could be in the cafeteria. Dr. crowler could give you away!"

  "I'm not joking..." Blair says with a straight face.

  "Blair sweetie..." Blair looks over at Alexis. "Love doesn't work like that. You can't sneak you're way into somebody's heart. just look what happened to your maiden. she used tricks to get love, and she ended up alone and in tears. you cant use spells or disguises to find your soulmate blair... you have to be honest and upfront with them. "

  "YEAH RIGHT!" Blair retorts. "You just want Zane for yourself! You're trying to get rid of me!!!"

  "Zane, a little help please...?"

  "Blair," Zane walks closer to her. "As flattered as I am by your affections, right now I'm only in love with one thing. And that's dueling."

  Zane reaches into his pocket and pulls out her hair clip. he then hands it right back to her. "I'm sorry, but its time for you to go home."

  Blair starts tearing up.

  "Wait! why does she have to go home?! Cause you say so? Hello? Shes a student here at duel academy, and a good one!"

  Zane tries deescalating the situation. "Jaden, she has to go home."

  "oh I see what you're doing... You're pushing her out because she might dethrone you! "

  "she has to go home because shes in sixth grade!"

  Jaden pales. "Say what..? Robert almost lost to a girl whos only 12 years old?!"

  "HEY! I heard that!"

  Blair walks over to me and does jadens little pose. "12 and a half if it makes you feel better."

  He laughs. "Thats what I love about dueling! If you're old enough to draw, you're old enough to win!"

  "Goodbye!" We all wave back at the twelve year old who caused some chaos. "I'll be back once I'm done with middle school!"

  "hear that zane?" Jaden looks over to zane.

  "oh please, ill be gone by the time she gets here."

  "Thats true," jaden retorts. "I guess blair's crush ends right here."

  "I wouldn't be so sure..." he side eyes me.

  "What?" i ask.

  "Goodbye Robert, my sweet prince!"

  I feel all the blood in my body disappear. "W-what...?"

  "I LOVE YOU!!!!"

  "Wait wait wait! I thought she liked Zane!!"

  Alexis smiles at me. "She does like zane. but apparently, she LOVES you..."

  Jaden is rolling on the ground laughing. "THIS IS HILARIOUS!! I MEAN, DONT YOU L-"

  I kick him. "WHAT THE HELL?! YOU HAD A GOOD FEW WEEKS YOU LITTLE-!"

  "I'll see you soon! Write to me everyday! I love you Robert sweetie!!!"
