Neither of you moved a muscle as you stood on the outskirts of the Old Helios Forest. You could hear your own heartbeat running in rhythms along Atlas’s nervous breaths. The two of you looked at each other for a moment, nodded, and then proceeded to take a step towards the forest.
When Atlas told John about the plan, he was very much against it. He told Atlas to wait it out and find his father since John was pretty sure he’s residing somewhere near. But Atlas knew that he had to do something. After all, the father he never knew harmed countless innocent lives.
