With her mother.

With a pop, the door opened.
"Hello," I gawked.
"Hi... Shady." Her mother talked.
"Shady!" Zoe squealed, rushing forwards.
Zoe's mother stopped her from running out the doorward.
I nodded and directly at Zoe's mother, softly.
Zoe pushed past her mother.
I smiled at the young kid, she was very loftly.
"Sorry to bother, ma'am, your daughter became friends with me."
Zoe's mother nodded, her expressions tightening.
"It's enlightening."
I sat there looking at Zoe's mother, with Zoe in my arms.
"I wasn't always a shadow."
"Just so you know, I sort of trust you."

Zoe giggled and gripped onto my hat.
