Chapter 547

Every one of his stats were over the twenty thousand point mark. That meant that his body alone was over six thousand times more powerful than any human back on Earth, what with the addition of his thresholds. That strength coursed through his veins, and every movement that he made strained the world around him. To combat this, he had crafted a Runic Array. It was made out of the Runes of Thrift and Hunger.

The former of them regulated the power that he outputted into the world, working in a reciprocal loop with the other rune to redirect power back into itself. Jonathan pulled up the description. It had been a while since he had done so.

  Force-Battery Array

This array stores the physical forces generated by one’s body and releases them at a later point. There is a good deal of energy leakage, but the results are still immense.

In fact, it was what had taken out the dragon lying beneath him. A single punch, backed by almost a week of power regulation, had blasted a hole straight through its head like a cannon. That hole extended a good few miles into the ground below. The fact was, even with all of Angranor’s efforts to weaken Jonathan, he was far beyond even the average Lesser God, at least for his level.

As the essence of his skill swirled through his body and soul, Jonathan finally achieved Tier 7. It was the benchmark he had set for returning to the Hells, a point where he felt confident in his abilities. He could no longer fight two Circle Lords up, or even a Tier, but he could still cross a decent level gap.

  You have reached Tier 7!

You have gained 800 points in each stat (accounting for multipliers).

Your body is naturally more durable, and able to use a greater fraction of your total strength.

You have gained 480 points in Divinity.

You now need a higher concentration of mana, proportional to your level. Current inhibition is 0%, as you are using Tier 7 mana to operate. Maximum inhibition is 75%.

You now have access to Tier 7 classes.

Jonathan’s class options had been getting better and better. His Tier 6 class granted him absurd amounts of power per level, double that of the previous. He was looking forward to more.

Naturally, his class selection ceremony was a quick one. He already knew what he wanted to pick. Elemental Juggernaut had served him well over his time in the Infinite Hells, and it would continue to do so.

  Master Elemental Juggernaut

  Tier 7 Legendary Class

You are one of the most balanced fighters to have ever lived in the world of Telvaria. Every aspect of your form is beyond that of those who specialize in it. You are more of a mage than most mages, more of a warrior than most warriors. Most importantly, you are more of a God than most Gods.

+80 to all stats, +40 additional points.

Jonathan leaped down from the dragon, spotting his allies in the distance training. The sixth realm of Tartarus was one of ruins. A great civilization had once lived there, similar to the one that existed under the rule of the Merchant Queen.

Now, though, it was gone, scoured from existence by a great war between the Uthraki and a monster race nearing sapience. That race was called the Hul-thu, and they still warred with the Uthraki for control. They were small, lizard-like creatures that were masters of poison. One of them could snipe a warrior from a dozen miles away and inject them with instant death.

They had long ago reached the sapience that they so desired, and ruled over half of the world. For once, Jonathan and his friends hadn’t been greeted by Uthraki upon entering Tartarus. Instead, they had been immediately attacked by the Hul-thu.

Edgar had been targeted, as he was clearly one of the mages of the group. A Hul-thu sniper nailed him from almost fifteen miles, a bone dart striking into the center of the wind mage’s chest.

That bolt exploded into flechettes, tipped with venom that ripped through Edgar’s torso. The poison dissolved the flesh of its victims, causing a fast and incredibly painful death. The only way that Edgar had survived was because of Jonathan’s presence. The Void had saved the wind mage, burning away the toxins as they ravaged his flesh. After that, the Hul-thu had been exterminated on sight by long range techniques.
