Chapter 11 Noxus warband (3)

  lirvothethird

"Nice to meet you, hi! I'm Bach!"

Bach held a fishing rod in middle of the forest far, far away from the ocean. Stout and like two heads taller than me, he enthusiastically shook my limp hands with his thick hairy arms as he unwound the line on my arm. I was still hanging limply with my neck held from the back. It felt like the jaws of a wolf, about to snap my neck. Right after my hands were freed, I tapped the hand gripping my neck. While simultaneously begging him.

"Can you let go of my neck please?"

Silently, a rope was passed under my arms and over it, before it was held by the same woman that greeted me when I woke up. Someone else gestured, movement flickering in the side of my eye. I was soon released. Then the rge person patted me on the shoulder right after releasing me. His voice was a full baritone, smoothness flush with him.

"You ok bud? You seemed like a person that would run the moment I let go so there was a dey."

"I'm going to be sold as a sve right? That's what Noxians do..."

Holding my head with both hands, I predicted my demise. Noxus' primary colors taught as basic knowledge by the old coots is bck, red and grey. Back then, we were told to tell an adult if we spotted anyone that had those three colors on armor. Fgs and clothing strewn haphazardly across the camp id bare with those colors in full dispy. They started ughing. The rge person spoke after chuckling a little.

"You have such a cool power, why would we do that?"

  Looking up warily I asked.

  "Then what?"

  "Wanna join us?"

He leaned forwards, stinky breath billowing across my face. Scrunching up my face in disgust, he was pulled away.

"Don't you see that he's disgusted by your breath!"

Turning towards me was someone that had their face partially covered in a see through fabric, specifically over their lower face.

"Listen here dearie, you join us or else."

She held up a dagger. Then the rge man hollered from behind.

"That's worse you bitch! Learn some manners."

I shakily nodded in response. There was no other choice, for now that is. I might as well follow them to visit the Immortal Bastion for a tour... which hopefully they don't discriminate against someone from Demacia. The threat of death passed some time ago, when they decided to spare me after fishing me up. What is the deal with getting fished up anyways?

  "Good, good..."

Crooning in a tone that suspected me as a child, she tucked away the dagger. There definitely is a problem with Noxii women with their daggers. The hustle and bustle fading, the group surrounding me went off to do what they were originally doing. Fisherman patching his net, 6 people sharpening daggers. They are definitely insane.

  "I will handle you."

A sharp glint in her eyes as she looked around.

"I will, after all, I was the one that found him."

The silken voice of the scarred dy I met before interjected. I trembled in pce. Perhaps there is the possibility to escape when the rope tying my upper body is transferred. A firm tug on the rope made me lean back. Flustered, I reached out to grab onto anyone's shoulder. A successful catch was done! I steadied my self before lowering my feet into the ground slightly to prevent further incidents. Another voice hollered.

"Don't know why you two like little boys but it's not my job to know!"

"You think I don't know our rules?"

She snapped back. However, I just realized something.

'The rope is tight only against my shirt... so I am still free.'

My shirt is still reinforced with dirt, while the rope is tightly strapped against my upper body. What was the purpose of this area again? Why not the neck or something. But removing it that way will make it so next time would be worse.

"Can you guys remove the rope?"

"You guys? I forgot that we didn't introduce ourselves..."

She turned towards the rest of them sitting around and yelled, surprisingly out of character. Or maybe that is the true side of her.

"YOU HEAR THAT! WE DIDN'T INTRODUCE OURSELVES TO THE NEW RECRUIT!"

  "I never agreed to join..."

She turned back with a scary look on a smiling face.

"What did you say? I didn't hear yooouuu?"

  "Nothi-ing, I, I din't say nothing..."

I whimpered as I tried crouching down. I was held up by the rope so I was caught awkwardly half squatting in the air, only to stand up again because of being inbetween is worse than up fully or down, fully. She pulled the rope higher, forcing me to tiptoe. It was uncomfortable. A finger tickled my chin as she purred.

"I'll go first, I'm Escioulia, hemomancer, Noxii, single."

"Old hag, seducing a young d? Preposterous. Wait a moment, I rhymed?"

The smile on Escioulia's face cracked. Pointing towards the intruder while furrows formed on her face, she started insulting him.

"This guy's name is shit head. He fell into a pit when he was younger so his intelligence is below average."

"Hey! My name is Shieaad, s-h-i-e-a-a-d, not shit head, you fucking bat. Bat shit insane, that is. Does this look like a person that is below average?"

Shieaad protested, flexing his arms the size of my head. The argument he was making seemed entirely irrelevant to intelligence, in fact, it seemed to prove it. Disdain formed in my eyes. Everyone knows all brawn no brain gets killed easily. The difference between having people and the common sheep is intelligence, not that I'm insulting the magical ones.

"Don't look at me with those eyes, it's like you saw a fish that flopped out the water to suicide and your'e sighing at how easily lunch was caught! Ugh..."

He covered his face as he stepped away.
