The System Tower Spectating Stadium

  “Damn, damn, damn!!!! This is getting intense as hell!” Ruri Ripple shouts, her voice echoing throughout the stadium amidst the roaring crowd. All while the livestream of Ashley finishing her transformation into a strange form shows on multiple screens all across the stadium. “First we see the battle of Unique Beings, and now we’re seeing a form of the Princess of Chaos’ that has never been seen before?! Incredible! Extravagant! I couldn’t imagine a better battle to see!”

  Roars of agreement echo throughout the entire stadium. With very few people being able to take their eyes away from the livestream screens.

  Because Ashley, who is normally beautiful, cool, and collected, is now shown in an entirely different form.

  Now she is in the form of a hybrid of more creatures than Ruri can count.

  She is in the form of a massive dinosaur with Chaos’ raven wings, thick and glowing crimson scales, and various additional scales and feathers and other body parts thrown onto her body sticking out of the glowing crimson scales. The princess still has her eyes that include her Gaze of Destruction, but there are numerous other colors shining from her eyes on top of her usual crimson eyes.

  But what draws the most attention are the array of other wings Ashley has on her back aside from the main pair of wings from the Primordial of Chaos. Along with the numerous smaller patches of skin, scales, and the like all over her four enormous legs.

  With each of the claws at the ends of her feet glowing with an entirely different color.

  “Now this is what I would call a chimera form!!!” Ruri exclaims while flying in circles around the screens with her excitement as clear as day on her face. “All of the wounds the princess has received in this battle have vanished as well with this transformation! Including the ones that wouldn’t heal thanks to the Tower Lord’s true damage skill!”

  And after a brief pause where the Tower Lord’s clone simply circles around the princess, the Princess of Chaos opens her mouth and lets out an incredibly loud sound. One that Ruri wouldn’t classify in any particular way.

  It’s a type of sound she’s never heard before.

  The sound mixes every single creature-made sound she has ever heard.

  Hisses, howls, growls, roars, rumbles, and every other sound she can think of. Ashley somehow mixes them all into a single noise that echoes all throughout the System Tower floor she’s on.

  Then Ashley rushes forwards in a crimson blur before slamming into the tiger and tearing her fangs into the Tower Lord clone’s shoulder. With the clone himself barely avoiding getting bit on the neck.

  Ashley then rips out a chunk of icy flesh from the clone’s shoulder while also using her Gaze of Destruction to destroy parts of the tiger’s body in front of her eyes.

  “And the battle begins with a rush and tear from the beautiful Princess of Chaos, who may just embody that title more than we knew thanks to this new form!” Ruri shouts as she watches Ashley back away when pale blue energy begins to leave the fur and skin of the tiger to freeze parts of her body. But when Ruri and the audience see what happens next, they feel so much shock that the stadium goes nearly silent for just a single instant.

  Because Ashley doesn’t bother trying to heal the wounds and frozen body parts on her body.

  She just rips them off with her own claws and immediately grows new flesh to replace the missing flesh. With the new flesh being completely different from the old flesh.

  It doesn’t take long before the silence is broken by Ruri’s excited shout, “Holy shit on a stick! She just did that, right? She just mutilated herself to heal!”

  The audience goes on to confirm her words, with several of them still joking about how she just saw it so she didn’t need to ask. But Ruri doesn’t do her usual bantering with them as her eyes remain glued to the screens.

  Glued to the battle occurring on them.

  And just moments later, the Tower Lord’s clone begins to heal his own wounds as well. With the way he does it surprising the viewers again.

  As if to counter Ashley’s own bite, the Tower Lord’s clone rushes forwards and takes a chomp out of Ashley’s shoulder. Following which snowflakes begin to appear around the clone’s wound. Then those snowflakes turn to ice before finally becoming flesh.

  “Oooohhh, the princess did not like that!” Ruri says while leaning forwards with a grin on her face. “But who would enjoy being bitten? I know I wouldn’t.”

  She ignores the few people in the audience shouting they would just to argue.

  Meanwhile the battle heats up even further with both Unique Beings rushing at and clashing with each other over and over again. Each one taking a bite out of the other and then healing their own wounds in their own ways.

  Ruri and the audience watch it all. Even as some of the other System Tower participants begin to finish their non-perfect runs of the System Tower.

  Including Ashley’s twin brother, Blake.

  And it doesn’t take long for the audience watching Blake in the Final Hall to see him opening his twin sister’s livestream. Only to see her fighting against the Tower Lord’s clone without holding anything back.

  Those viewers in the System Tower Spectating Stadium who are watching him all begin to show compassion for the sibling watching his twin sister fight to the death. As they all see his worry stricken face.

  But Ruri doesn’t pay any attention to Blake. Not while Ashley is still fighting against the Tower Lord’s clone.

  And the majority of the viewers in the stadium are the same. Hence why she doesn’t change the screens to show more of Blake’s side of things.

  After all, she always tries to balance out the number of screens in the stadium with what the viewers in the audience desire.

  Of course, the main screen is always just Ashley. As anyone would expect.

  The battle itself continues raging on for hours upon hours. With Ashley slowly losing out over the Tower Lord’s clone in stamina and energy.

  Until Ashley uses one of her many skills to restore her energy to a degree every time it becomes close to empty.

  But even that only lasts for a short time, and the gap between the two continues to grow.

  And right as Ruri is beginning to genuinely worry about the Princess of Chaos, she does something completely unexpected.

  She jumps in again, seemingly attempting to take another bite out of the Tower Lord’s clone. Specifically out of the clone’s right leg. And just like many of their previous clashes, she and the Tower Lord’s clone attack each other at the same time, sacrificing limbs to do it while assuming they will regenerate back.

  Except that instead of completely tearing off the tiger’s leg, Ashley chomps down and holds onto it without tearing it off.

  Then an amber glow begins to shine from her mouth as an amber-like substance slowly spreads onto the clone’s limb.

  “Holy wowzas! She’s really going to try doing this?!” Ruri shouts. But this time her own shout is nearly drowned out by the shocked shouts of the many viewers watching alongside her.

  Soon those shocked shouts turn into cheers, despite the Princess of Chaos not being able to hear them.

  As everyone begins to root for her success in her current plan.

  And amidst all of the cheers, the screen shows Ashley as she fights to latch onto the tiger’s leg without letting go. Even as the tiger himself tries to throw her off and even attempts to sacrifice his entire leg in the process. Only for Ashley to use her Gaze on any and all of the tiger’s claws that even so much as approach its leg. Leaving it unable to sever its own leg.

  All the way until Ashley finally finishes sealing the tiger’s right hind leg from the knee down.

  Ruri watches in awe as the part of the tiger’s leg that is covered in the chrono lock doesn’t move at all. Almost like it’s still connected to the tiger’s body.

  And when the tiger regenerates the rest of its leg, all the tiger ends up doing is reattaching the locked leg to its body.

  Thereby permanently crippling the tiger.

  “One leg down, three more to go,” Ashley says in a horrific voice that echoes throughout the Unique Domain.
