Within one of the Grand Stadiums of Order

  “Things aren’t looking good, folks…” the MC of the fourth Grand Stadium of Order says as his voice echoes throughout the stadium to the millions of people in the bleachers. Along with the trillions of people watching through the broadcast of the stadium. “Team Alpha is already beginning to fall apart.”

  Archer, the MC of the stadium, has been working at the stadium as an MC for a long time now, but this is the first time he’s directly covered an assault on a Unique Domain. Especially one of such a high Class.

  The Beginning and End of Twilight.

  Domain of the Empress of Twilight.

  Part of Archer wishes that he was in charge of one of the many stadiums covering Ashley and her attempt at the Tiger of Eternal Snow, but getting to cover a Unique Domain in general is great. Especially the first attempt at a new Class B Unique Domain.

  And yet, the first attempt at a Class B Unique Domain has only once ever been a success.

  Usually the only Class Unique Domains that are ever cleared on the first try are Class E or D Domains. With them having a twenty percent success rate when challenged by a professional team of hunters.

  One known to be filled with heirs to powerful families across the universe.

  Whereas Class C Domains have a less than one percent success rate when challenged by professional teams of hunters. And Class B Domains have even less than that.

  There have only ever been five Class A Unique Domains in existence and two Class S Unique Domains. With none of them having ever been cleared.

  And never has a Class D or higher Unique Domain been cleared by a single person or a group that aren’t hunter professionals.

  So Archer was pretty certain at the start of their attempt that Team Alpha is going to die.

  Which is almost confirmed at this point as he watches them on the livestream going through halls of twilight while fighting against the corruption flowing through them from the twilight. Corruption that is slowly turning them into twilight beasts the longer they stay in the Unique Domain.

  “At the rate things are going, this attempt will end with the complete corruption of the Alpha Team into monsters serving under the Empress of Twilight’s control,” Archer says as a grim tone fills his words.

  And to his distress, a lot of the people watching the broadcast begin to move over towards the stadiums hosting Ashley’s livestream.

  Many of the people in the stadium itself also move over towards the other stadiums. Rapidly beginning to empty out the stadium of people.

  Archer grits his teeth, but he doesn’t blame them. Because he would leave as well.

  In the case of watching a lesser-known professional hunter team fighting against a Class B Unique Monster with very little chance of survival versus watching a Unique Being herself facing off against a Class D Unique Monster, the choice is clear for anyone.

  One of them is a team most likely going off to their deaths while the other is an up and coming Successor with a good chance of success. With little to no chance of her dying permanently even if she does die thanks to the System Tower’s single revive.

  Archer continues to watch the people in the stadium and on the broadcast leaving. All while he sees the Alpha Team finally succumb to the light of twilight.

  Turning them into corrupted creatures of twilight in the form of orange-skinned creatures with glowing orange light shining from their eyes like beacons.

  At which point the livestream cuts off. Ending their time as hunters.

  Now I can just watch Ashley’s livestream while waiting for the second round of hunters to try their hand at the Empress of Twilight…

  A second round of hunters will try their hand after they finish analyzing the Unique Domain. With this group being stronger than the first and more prepared with knowledge of the Unique Domain from the livestream.

  So if anyone will be clearing the Unique Domain, it will be them.

  He lets out a sigh as the stadium completely empties except for some people who just sit around in the bleachers watching Ashley’s livestreams in front of them.

  And he does the same from high in the air.

  Ashley

  “It looks like the first team attempting the new Unique Domain has fallen,” Chaos says out of nowhere as I continue traveling through the Chaos Domain.

  Well that’s unfortunate.

  I frown slightly at that, but I don’t pause in my search for things that’ll help me against the Unique Monster. Especially since the snow continues to grow thicker and thicker as more falls.

  Every single roar the tiger makes, the snow begins to fall harder and harder.

  All the way until I find myself in what’s practically a blizzard using destruction and fire magic to melt and annihilate the snow falling around me. Just to be able to see.

  And at this point I find entire feet of snow just layered up on the previously chaotic interior of the Chaos Domain.

  So much snow that I can’t even see what the Domain originally looked like anymore.

  Also, I still haven’t found the Jewel of Chaos.

  “Here’s a little hint,” Chaos suddenly says as I continue pushing through the snow. “Use your senses and try to sense chaos energy. The jewel will be in the place with the densest chaos energy.”

  That’s a bit more than a ‘little hint’, but I’m not complaining.

  I quickly focus on my senses, only to find myself struggling to sense much of any chaos energy anymore. All because of the ice energy flooding everywhere I look thanks to the snow.

  But after trying for several minutes, I finally find signs of chaos energy off into the distance.

  In a direction about ninety degrees away from the direction of the roars. Which is good since it means that I don’t have to get close to the boss to get the jewel.

  So I quickly begin rushing in the direction of the energy.

  And rushing.

  And still flying through the air towards it. Even after several hours pass.

  I grit my teeth as the Domain continues growing colder and colder.

  Cold enough that it actually begins to bother me a little despite my resistances.

  Not much, but still a little.

  On another note, I find a lot of frozen monsters along the way. Proving just how cold it’s become.

  Which is kind of eerie to see. Just passing by monster statues, with them frozen solid in blocks of ice.

  But something strange happens when I finally begin to get closer to the jewel.

  The monster statues begin to move despite being frozen solid. With their names changing to add ‘Frostite’ to their names.

  Proving that the ice isn’t just freezing them.

  It’s turning them into minions of the tiger.

  Which isn’t good.

  I continue melting the snow around me as I rush towards the jewel and kill monsters along the way.

  Until I finally find a large pyramid with the Jewel of Chaos on top of it spilling chaos energy out into the Domain.

  I feel surprisingly energized as I get within range of the Jewel of Chaos. And even moreso when I grab the thing and find it merging with the bracelet.

  Finally completing my bracelet in the process.

  Now I just need to find something in the Tiger’s own Domain that’ll help me fight against it.

  So I continue moving through the snow-ridden Domain as things keep getting colder.

  Eventually the snow forces me to activate skills every now and then. Specifically my eruption skills that quickly begin to melt all the snow within several hundred meters around me.

  Time passes until it’s halfway through the third day of the Domain. At which point I finally begin to find some unusual things that might just help me against the Unique Monster.

  I find some strange needles of ice just hidden in the snow.

  The ice in particular is glowing with a pale blue light and gives me an instinctive sense of discomfort and fear.

  Something tells me that touching them with my bare hands is dangerous.

  Hmm…
