Reading the contents of the quest notification my internal HUD flashed with new code as the information was processed by my subroutines.

Secondary objective updated... Gather needed information for plan of action.
Prime directive protect and watch over Molly while the Parksons are gone still incomplete...
Formulating new scenario from approximate data...
New tertiary objective...
Find and defeat the Goblin Chief...
Prime directive and secondary objective remain unchanged...

With my priorities updated I put my databanks to work figuring out how to accomplish this new objective. This quest after all finally offered a direction to follow in this tutorial and better still a way to end it. This might be a way to get Molly home. It was the best way to accomplish my prime directive.
This quest also stated some valuable information. This Goblin Chief was already looking for us. Even if this wasn't a way to get Molly home it was still important to think up ways to deal with this threat.
On that note it was important to use all the tools at my disposal so I opened up the system shop. After all despite having a direction to follow nobody said it would be easy to defeat the goblin chief.

I had in the recent incident with the massive rat lost the club I had been using as a weapon and had not found a replacement for it. I was currently unarmed except for the use of my abilities. That was wholly unacceptable.
Although only having 13 currency at the moment I decided to do a deep scan into all the things available for purchase in the shop as you never know what you might need in any given situation.
Looking at the categories of merchandise available again there were 4 of them. Consumables, Weapons, Armor, and Miscellaneous.
Consumables included, water ,rations, healing potions, antidotes and resistance potions. This category is where I had been getting all the food to feed Molly from and was pretty much only useful to Molly. A doll can't drink or eat after all.
Weapons included swords, maces, spears, axs, knives and pretty much any melee or simple range weapons. Yes, they even had the same club I had been using before.

Basic club: 10 currency
A basic simple wooden club. What more is there to say?

I bought it right off the bat. What can I say? Despite its simplicity it was effective and simple to use. Also it was one of the only things I could afford.
The next category up was Armor.
This category was also not that helpful considering most of the armor on offer was either expensive and/or was not designed to be worn by a doll or a 4 year old. However I did find a buckler that was small enough it could act as a shield.
I couldn't buy it right now but it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. It was priced at a decent 10 currency so future possibility.
The last Category was Miscellaneous.
This category contained things to like fire starters, sleeping bags, torches, candles, rope and other useful things for camping. There was even toilet paper.
I would definitely keep that in mind for when Molly inevitable had to go.
Speaking of Molly I needed to talk to her about what we were going to do if we got into another fight.
I closed the shop and addressed Molly. The scan of the shop taking less then a 30 seconds to review.
I turned to Molly to converse with her about the quest and what she thought of it. That was when a heavy club emerged from behind a tree and struck me in the face.
