Lus had given a general round of thought about what could be considered the surefire way of winning everything as fast as possible through a deal with Kawahara.
Currently, she has 6 right consecutive claims, and her last claim resulted in a positive result which amassed to 24,576 points alone, albeit she had gained 22,500 points from breaking her point barrier as well. In contrast, she lost 11,769 points to Kawahara due to their previous contract which no longer applies. Furthermore, due to a contract with Ikkiri, she lost 10,000 of her points and with Hinagiku, through a contract, she lost an additional 5,000 points. Her prejudice was 26,769 points, but she earned 47,076 from her earnings, so in total Lus earned 20,307 points.
The factor to take into consideration the multiplication of the correspondent value of the correct claim, if she were to get it right, which is: 49,152 points; which is just about enough to break her point barrier and win the points delivered from her point barrier: 50,000 points. Thus----99,152 points, are on the line.
"In exchange for the right answers, to me alone, until the end of the judgment round, I will give you 25% of my point barrier's points every time I do break it." Lus laid out her terms "But I must score. This is mandatory." Lus and the others were expecting Kawahara to go into a deep train of thought "Sure." But Kawahara surprised all of them and just blatantly accepted it "Wh----" Tateyana was baffled "He could've tried for 50%, no!?" Tateyana asked Kanawari "She's right... Kawahara could've definitely bargained way higher... To say that 75% is possible, is not an understatement..." Kanawari confessed to herself "That was easier than I thought." Lus thought as she recited the contract verbally "He must've immediately seen the benefit of the contract, I suppose?" Lus doubted herself "It's strange..." Lus finished her contract "Yes, I do accept it~" Kawahara smiled widely "25% of my upcoming barrier points are 12,500 points. He has 6517 points and a point barrier of 25,000 points. 12,500 points is not enough to break it. Not to mention that if by some chance Arkalee scores, then 10,000 points will be subtracted from his account." Lus began to feel extremely skeptical "Am I missing something......!??!" She couldn't help but dread.

Lus couldn't understand it "Excuse me, you BITCH?!" Arkalee intervened "I'll have you know that I deserve that contract!" Arkalee defended herself "No, you fucking don't? SERIOUSLY, IT MAKES NO SENSE! WHY ARE YOU WINNING ALL OF HIS POINTS JUST FOR FREE?!" Lus was far beyond stressed "Lus." Kawahara called out to her "I understand you have your worries and doubts, but now is not the time. What Arkalee and I agreed to, is far beyond what is shown on the surface." Kawahara softly said "Let's simply communicate the answer in a way that we only understand." Kawahara asserted "Посп?шайте ? дайте мен? в?дпов?дь, щоб я м?г укласти з ними контракти." Lus very boldly demanded.
But Kawahara, as he grinned and mildly chuckled, had a different idea in mind.
"Sorry girl, but they have caught on." Kawahara warned her "But don't fret, there is a way to convey the answer through a way that ONLY YOU! WILL! KNOW!" Kawahara was bursting with confidence all over his speech "Which IS?!" Lus refused to waste anymore time "That is......." Lus gulped "Make a contract with Arkalee requesting the answer." Kawahara calmly delivered "......" Lus' eyes widened as she could not comprehend this phenomenon "And she knows the answer?" Lus just asked "Yes, she does. As a matter of fact, I've already relayed a method before this judgment round, in the very odd case that I was chosen, the method in which only she would know the answer. So, I am ultimately telling you to seek Arkalee instead of me for I can't tell you the right answer without risking the possibility of others understanding it." Kawahara closed his eyes.

Lus was not about to waste any more time "Arkalee, I know this is a bit too much for me to ask, but could you-----" As if to read her mind, Arkalee, despite having no arms, got up and started to march in Lus' direction with a stone cold face "Are they dumb?" Krale asked out loud, from the other side "There is no way that the others will allow Kitsuya Arkalee and Lus Sera to just communicate in secret, from ear to ear, right?" He added "I wonder..." Andrea, who had an idea in mind, pondered heavily.
And certainly, it was without the shadow of the doubt, something that many were not willing to overlook. As she saw Arkalee going to Lus' seat, Tateyana got up, as well as Hinagiku, Ikkiri, and Tatsu. Kanawari, Yukishiro, Hyunda, Daniel, and Yulia remained on their seats, on the other hand.
Before Arkalee could arrive at Lus' seat, there was a nearby wall of players wanting to know the real answer and so, they all formed a blockade.
"You do realize you will not be able to get through, right?" Hinagiku looked at Arkalee in particular "Is that so? Such a shame." Arkalee turned back "Wait! What are you people doing?! By allowing Arkalee to communicate with me, I will know the right answer and then I can tell you THAT ANSWER!" Lus said "At what cost?" Tatsu instigated "That can be arranged, Tatsu..." Lus countered "No, forget it." Tatsu blatantly denied it "No, seriously, what the fuck are you guys doing?" Not Lus, but Kawahara in the center, called out to the rest of them "Please tell them!" Lus begged Kawahara as Arkalee was getting further and further.

"No, I'm talking about you." Kawahara turned to Lus instead ".....?!" She felt offended by that remark "Don't be greedy with your conditions. You will win far too much with the right answer alone. Strike an appealing deal with them so the answer doesn't get leaked." Kawahara suggested "Consider this, for example: Lus, if you tell them the right answer and they score, they have to give you their turn in the execution round." Kawahara further added "My turn, in the execution round, just for the right answer? Are you crazy?" Hinagiku told him off "Not just this round alone though. I am saying, she must give you the right answers until the judgment round is over. And if that is achieved, you will have to forfeit your turn in the execution round. Just think about it, Hinagiku. By knowing the right answer, with your contract, you will essentially win double your points." Kawahara made her think more deeply into this.
And likewise, the others did too. Because there was a loophole to this strategy, that Lus failed to immediately realize due to the fact that she had a lot going on.
"Alright, I'm game." Hinagiku said as she started to make a contract with Lus "Lus Sera, do you accept the following contract: Until the end of this judgment round, if I correctly score every single one of my claims, then I will give you my turn in the upcoming execution round?" The simple contract was made and the others did the same, except for Ikkiri whose turn was already owned by Lus "I don't mind, but you must keep your distance, please! If not, then I will NOT TELL YOU!! There is NOT much time!" Arkalee, as she saw the progress, started to come over once again "I will." Hinagiku started to create distance backwards "Hey Hina, will you share the answer with me?! I already gave my turn to Lus!" Ikkiri also started to create distance too.
Ultimately, Lus accepted Hinagiku, Tateyana, and Tatsu's contract, which were all the same: Should they correctly score until the end of this judgment round, then they will give up their turn to Lus Sera in the execution round.

Besides, this is all because Arkalee wants to score." Lus came to that rapid conclusion and formed the contract right away.

With a sound-proof distance of 7-8 meters away from Arkalee and Lus, the two of them were able to communicate the answer effectively and thus, the other ones came rushing in her direction "The answer is yes." Lus lowly whispered with her right hand at the front and they all ran to their seats with the right answer on their minds "So, what do you think of them?" Daniel asked Yulia, as time was about to run out, only with 5 seconds on the line "The fifth zone is really good! Can you imagine what it would be like to have that many points as your bank account?!" Yulia exclaimed "Ah, 50/50? What will you vote?" Yulia got to the core of the matter as the seconds became less "Yeah, so, I will vote no, you will vote yes. A 50/50." Daniel ordered "Kay~" Yulia happily obliged.

"How... many points did she just win..." Kanawari, who had fixated on knowing Lus' previous points, thought to herself as she saw that she didn't score this time around "YES!! I FUCKING DID IT, FINALLY!!!!" Tateyana threw her hands in the air as she celebrated her point barrier breakthrough "Arkalee is almost ahead of me when she was at the very bottom at the start of the round. This has to be the worst timeline." Hyunda articulated his frustrations out loud "We're together forever, Hyunda...." Arkalee replied from a distance "Kawahara, you clown, just get the fuck on with it we don't have all day!" Hyunda started to become impatient with his words as he jammed a flat right palm onto the table "The fuck are you talking about? Been taking all the pills you need, sicko?" Kawahara had a confused outlook "You invigorating clown, if you don't put it to work in this upcoming round, I will intervene." Hyunda made the threat.
There were a lot of clueless people in the room but there were some that were already high on alert.
"Does Hyunda know?! No, how would he know? It's possible he has caught on to the plan but to know about it in detail is..." Kuzan was having second thoughts suddenly "Arkalee's current position and how close she is to breaking the point barrier is the biggest indicator that Kawahara will put the plan into work. As a matter of fact...." They all saw how Arkalee was getting up to talk to Lus "Lus, we need to talk, alone." Arkalee requested "It's about the upcoming answer." Even though the claim had not been yet drawn, Arkalee wanted to negotiate, and needless to say, people heard this "You've heard her. Keep your distance if you want a slice." Lus narrowed down the usual individuals as she slowly started to get up painfully through her crutches.
The ninth round would start with its prized claim from Basara.
"Ryousuke Kawahara killed Percy Phoenix on the deserted island used to conduct the male student exam, around a few weeks ago." Basara uttered a claim that many had trouble ignore "Percy Phoenix? THAT Percy Phoenix?!" Tateyana asked Kanawari and she simply shook her head sideways "Kawahara is definitely the type of guy who would do something like that..." Hinagiku muttered "I know right? Wouldn't put it past him at all..." Though they say this, their eyes are on Arkalee and Lus who are near the vending machine, on their own, uninterrupted.
Kawahara, after the claim was drawn, looked at Arkalee from afar with a blank expression, without blinking a single time.
"Alright, I know the answer. Black coffee." Arkalee additionally said as she made Lus waste a very low margin of her points "The answer is yes." She outright confessed "Seriously...?! So Kawahara really did kill him in the island..." Lus wasn't in disbelief or anything but a part of her still found it exceptionally surprising "And now listen because we don't have much time." Arkalee, as she saw the plastic cup being filled, decided to get down to business.

"It's about the two contracts I proposed you." Arkalee's voice grew serious and strict "As you may recall, my first contract, which you did accept was: Strike a deal with Tatsu that revolves around him returning all the points he owns that aren't originally his to their respective owners, and I will offer you all of my points by the end of this judgment round." Arkalee reminded her swiftly "Yes, I recall." Lus confirmed it "So, why haven't you done anything about it if you did accept it? What the hell are you waiting for?" Arkalee became passive-aggressive "I was waiting for you to reach out to me so you can tell me what you have in mind for me. Because I think that you do have something up your sleeve." Lus smirked.
And Arkalee wasn't about to deny it as well.
"It's simple: Offer him a contract that states that you will offer him half of your points should he successfully score correctly until the end of the judgment round." Lus felt bewildered "HALF?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" She felt as if Arkalee wasn't making any sense at all "I am not fucking crazy here! He will take you up on your offer and only I know the answers from Kawahara! You will lie to him about an answer in the rounds and it's a wrap." Arkalee was confident "That's not the issue! The issue is that he won't accept it!" Lus argued "Oh but he will. Because I will make a deal with him, you see." Arkalee revealed"...What?" Lus was even more confused.

"In the upcoming round, I will approach him and sell the answers. I will make a deal so good for him that he won't be able to deny it. He will feel pretty confident about it and soon enough, I will lie to him about an answer and that's where your contract kicks in. Get it?" Arkalee rushed her "Wait, wait, wait. I am not comfortable with this at all!" Lus became defensive "You don't even know how many rounds there will b-" Arkalee interrupted her "12. That's what Kawahara told me beforehand." Arkalee countered "And how would he know that?!" Lus asked, sweating "I don't know but I don't doubt it. Just take a look at the view numbers; it's clear they profit from longer rounds. Anyways..." Arkalee felt as if they were wasting too much time "You will do that because you will get my points at the end of the round regardless. All you have to do is strike the deal with him and then I will help you out. We all win because in the end, he will have to give his points back to me!" Arkalee stated.
Lus wasn't sure of this at all.
"Lus, just do it! My points are all yours if it means that Tatsu can suffer!" She closed on "Look at what he fucking did to me." Lus was forced to look at Arkalee, who was bleeding from her shoulders "All I want is him to suffer and the only way to do that is to have all my points back. That why I've been doing this." Arkalee confessed "But is that even possible?" Lus asked, unsure "It has to be, or so Kawahara says. Think though, if it works, his point barrier gap will be ridiculous. You will have no competition and you will be the closest to the 1st zone." Arkalee distanced herself and chuckled "Oh wait, you already are." She laughed.

The black coffee was done pouring "A gift!" Arkalee's shirt sleeves fluttered as she returned to her seat momentarily and needless to say, there were people waiting for Lus to say the answer and so, Lus also went back.

"Tatsu, I have to talk to you." Lus called him out, though he was just on the edge of her seat "After you tell me the answer, I will listen to what you have to say." Tatsu prioritized efficiency "Sure." Not just to Tatsu, but to Hinagiku and Tateyana, to their ears "I have a proposal for you, so listen." Lus garnered his attention as well as the surrounding people as she raised her voice "If you are able to score correctly until the end of the judgment round, I will give you half of my points by then!" Lus boldly declared "WHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT?!" Tateyana became ecstatic "She is out of her mind." Hinagiku said out loud "Oh, that's... Hm..." Ikkiri realized something "That's it?" Tatsu refused to waste time "No, the other condition if you happen to not score correctly, is that you will have to give back the points you own to their original owners." Tatsu eyed Arkalee immediately "I see." He acknowledged "Make the condition twice for me and I will accept it." Tatsu bargained "...................." Lus was suddenly at an encompass.

Lus saw the way through "Alright, you're on." Lus confidently started to recite the contract to Tatsu "It's a deal then." Tatsu remained stoic, not showing any emotion whatsoever and simply walked back to his seat while being glared by Arkalee from afar.

Daniel decided to switch strategies up "The 50/50 doesn't matter at this point, because we are not the center of attention. She is." Daniel looked at Lus "We have successfully managed to become less of a target, Yulia, so let's aim higher together. Ready?" Daniel smiled "For you, always..." She giggled as she pressed the answer.
Just as time was running out and Hinagiku told Ikkiri the answer she was given by Lus, Hinagiku saw what Ikkiri had voted, right after Hinagiku had voted.
"Wait, why did you vote for no?!" Hinagiku was downright confused "Oh, you'll see." Ikkiri just smiled "What...." Hinagiku remained confused as the seconds ran out.

OF COURSE IT'S A NO, THEY HAVE NO WAY OF PROVING WHAT HAPPENED ON THAT ISLAND, DID YOU FUCKING FORGET?!?!?!?" Kawahara became one with madness as his voice "NO-NO!!! I JUST THOUGHT THAT-----" Before Arkalee could even defend herself, Kawahara backlashed once more "YOU THOUGHT WHAT?!?! YOU FUCKING SKANK!!! So, why don't you go ahead and do the same?" He turned his attention to Lus now "HEY LUS! JUST HIT YES AND DON'T THINK TWICE! YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!!" Kawahara shouted out loud "........" Though her finger was intertwined between the green and the red button, the simple yes or no, she simply couldn't come to terms with it for now "I......."
