Lus threw one of her crutches at Hinagiku with lightning speed, to which Hinagiku was barely able to dodge "The hell?!" Hinagiku had to tilt her body forward as the crutch went above her "TEACHER, DO SOMETHING!!" Ikkiri immediately called out to Basara "LUS, STOP!" But despite Basara's warning, Lus grabbed her other crutch and was ready to throw it at Hinagiku who had yet to leave the chair-----Ikkiri was already up and behind the chair in order to not be a target "You will be penalized, I'm warning you." Lus' right hand began to shake as her face twitched with rage "JUST....." Lus turned to Daniel from afar "WHAT DID YOU VOTE FOR?!" Her face was emitting despair "I voted yes." Yulia didn't mind "....I'll take you up on your offer...." The pain was beyond tolerable despite her emotional facade "But not now..." Arkalee knew that she could not waste time "I have bad news for you, Yulia..." Arkalee begun to smirk "?" Yulia's attention was caught "Kawahara won't be last place, you will." She declared "....." Yulia didn't necessarily react "Just when the last round drops he will obtain a lot of points. So many that his point will make him a top contender." Arkalee said "And when that happens, there will be no one but you in the last place. "OH GOD!!" Lus' breaths became irregular as she puffed her chest out "WHAT?! HE DIDN'T PLAY THIS GAME BEFORE?!?!?!" Tateyana scrambled "I wasn't expecting that......." Hinagiku, who voted the same as Tateyana, was startled as well "HAHAHA I'M AHEAD OF YOU, LOVE!!!" Arkalee became overly ecstatic as she overtook Hyunda "You should be saying those words to Tatsu, not me. After all, you just gave him a fuckton of points, you fucking retarded bitch." Hyunda was exasperated "WATCH YOUR MOUTH HYUNDA, IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMS!!!" Arkalee could barely control herself every time she talked to Hyunda "No but seriously, Tatsu's points are...." Even Ikkiri had to acknowledge it "Yeah, they are massive and it's thanks to Arkalee..." Hinagiku entered the conversation "True, but... If Tatsu scores incorrectly one more time, he's just fucked." As Basara was getting the newer claim, Yukishiro decided to use this time to explain a few things to Lus.
"While you catch your breath and calm your ass down, I'll explain." Lus looked at Yukishiro briefly as her posture was collected "You better..." Lus' exhausted look was clear to her "For you to understand why Kawahara hasn't played this game before, you need to understand that Kawahara's ultimate goal wasn't your death. He, however, tried to make it work. It's as Kuzan said, Kawahara gave you the right answers only to submerge that feeling, and you wouldn't suspect it. However, he did it through various ways, which was very clever." Lus was reminded "Yeah, I already know that... Tell me how he profits from my supposed "death"." Lus insisted "Now, I have no concrete evidence about this but if I had to make a guess, Kawahara's aim was to actually see whether or not the system behind the ladder-board, can actually acknowledge the source of your death." Lus was perplexed "There's... no way?! No, no way the system would be able to identify that it was Kawahara who was behind my death then! It was me who got the wrong answers, he had nothing to do-----with......." Lus slowly began to realize "You're starting to see the picture, aren't you now?" Yukishiro laughed lowly "Reminder: he lied to you last round. Your short-lived contract with him which didn't even show up on your contracts as it immediately expired as soon as the round was done, stated that if you scored according to his answer that you had to give him half of your points and that if you died, in other words, if your answer was wrong, that he would have to bear all of your contracts." Yukishiro was thorough "There is a link. Your last action, your last contract would be with Kawahara, right before your death, the cause of your demise would be Kawahara, who deliberately lied to you. And so, I am to believe that your points, would go to Kawahara therefore. Because when Omega killed Sagasuga, all of his points went to him." Yukishiro became aroused "Omega?" Lus was clueless "Although it's not a direct kill, Kawahara wants to test whether or not he would gain something from this endeavor! However, you have lived, ergo; he failed!" Yukishiro pointed at Kawahara and laughed grandiosely.
But Lus was still lacking the information about one thing.
"Wait, you said that my death wasn't Kawahara's ultimate goal, which is ridiculous! If he wins all of my points, he's basically the king of the court!!" Lus exulted herself "While in theory that stands, he wants more than that. Your points aren't enough for him, because he knows that he will obtain a far wide quantity of points at the end of the round." Yukishiro revealed "What...?" Lus demanded an explanation once again "Oh dear lord heaven in-----I really have to explain everything to you, don't I?! Oh, but that's fine... You and I will be here for a while, yes..." Yukishiro giggled "So you'll tell me the answers from now on?" Lus inquisitioned "God fuck no, you imbecile!" Yukishiro rejected her approach right away "Answer this, answer that.... You think so NAIVELY!!!" Yukishiro's face closed in on Lus' "?!?!" She was taken aback momentarily as their breaths collided "It's time for you to use your brain. I can't use you if you're useless." Yukishiro retreated "I'm not useless, I have the most points, you bitch!" Lus countered "For how long I wonder? Also, that's a very bold statement considering you just threw away around 15k points on two contracts with two rats who were ready to watch your head blow off. Wow, very impressive miss Sera." Yukishiro applauded sarcastically "Those were investments. They will come in handy in the future." Lus spoke proudly "A future that was as good as uncertain at worst, you mean?" Yukishiro insulted her again "Why you..!!!!" Lus' rage ignited "As I thought, you alone, cannot do it. It's also one of the reasons why Daniel abandoned you." Yukishiro went for a more direct approach "And what the fuck do you mean by that...." Lus didn't calm herself down but wanted to listen to her anyways.
Basara had now in his grasp, the claim.
"All I will say is that he saw your future and knew that you would be a burden." Yukishiro was cryptic "That makes NO SENSE. If he and I were to team up, and should he give me all the answers, then I would clear the game, PERIOD!!" Lus claimed "But that's exactly why you would be a burden to him..." Yukishiro sighed "Wha?!" Lus was beyond confused and overall just annoyed at Yukishiro's underlying words "ATTENTION, I AM ANNOUNCING THIS AS THE LAST ROUND!!!" Basara's words remained imperial as always and no one failed to recognize this "I figured..." Kawahara murmured "DAMN IT, WHY DID THIS HAVE TO BE THE LAST?! NOW IT'S LITERALLY A 50/50 FOR TATSU...!!!" Arkalee fretted instantly "Since this will be the last round, not only will the correct claims be doubled, as well as the incorrect wrong claims, but in addition to that, there will a 25% point boost acquisition contract for the next two hours for those who correctly score." Basara's words made eyes widened "A 25% point acquisition boost?!?!" Hinagiku knew this was it "I NEED IT!!!!" Tateyana couldn't keep her thoughts to herself "Oh wow, that's a 100% point boost for me!!!" Ikkiri felt overly excited "Alright, let's fucking score...." All of them knew. This wasn't the first time something like this happened.
Basara begun to recite the words of the final claim.
"Ryousuke Kawahara has ties to the infamous criminal known as Matvey Almatorav. Not only that, but Ryousuke Kawahara was used for one of his experiments before the termination of one of his facilities, which were made for advanced plastic surgery." Basara finished the claim "AND THE FIVE MINUTES START NOW!!!" Basara declared loudly "Wait, who?!" Tateyana didn't recognize the name "....I've never heard of that name before...." Kanawari immediately thought "Infamous criminal but I've never heard of him..." Ikkiri confessed as she looked up "Me neither." Hinagiku was honest "Any clue, genie?" Lus taunted Yukishiro "Uh, no." Yukishiro had a serious look as she looked at Hyunda from afar "I've never heard that name before......" Kuzan's face was twisted, as he had pride in knowing several historical criminal figures and even recent ones "The name is Russian, but to go ahead and claim him to be infamous...?! No, there's no way this guy even exists." Kuzan became certain "Umm..." Yulia gulped "Hm?" Daniel noticed Yulia's frail expression "I... I know that surname..." Yulia tried to remain as silent as possible "......." Daniel leaned closer and lent her his left ear to which she obliged "Um, a person in Sakhalin has that surname... That's all I know, sorry..." Yulia looked apologetic as she retreated slightly "I see."
