And they began to think about how this could affect them "All of the lost points, in other words, from the ones who won't correctly score, will go to him... That shouldn't matter because if I know how to correctly score then none of my points will go to him." Kanawari was quick to deduce "But knowing that, why would he propose this? He must have a plan to make some of us intentionally fail for his profit..." Hinagiku realized "He also said that he wants everybody to commit to this contract but I'm not sure if everyone will..." Lus worried "You want to profit of our misery? Couldn't you be anymore obvious?" Hyunda initiated the dialogue "It's not misery, I just want to punish those who doubt my words, that's all. She was willing to advance the event "There has to be a three-way connection from someone else all the way to Kawahara and Kanawari, or vice-versa." Kuzan heard this and got up "I got this." Kuzan signaled with his hand as he started to walk in Kanawari's direction "Heya, Kana." In other words, I'll propose that should you fail to guess, those points will be given to me first. And then, those points will be transferred to Kawahara. A double contract. Think of me as your middle man. Yeah?" Kuzan elaborated "...It works in theory, so might as well... We won't go anywhere at this rate... I need that contract since I can't verbally make any...." Kanawari was aware of the situation and thus, gave the thumbs up to Kuzan.

If I am to lose all of my borrowed points, then I want compensation in some shape or form. Which means that if I am to follow through with this contract that will make me lose all of them, I want them back to me." Tatsu made an unreasonable request "YOU'RE FUCKING INSANE!!! JUST ADMIT YOU'RE TOO MUCH OF A PUSSY TO TAKE THE LOSS!!!" Arkalee was merciless "I gotta say, he's just fucked no? Like, how MANY points has he acquired from the others?!" It's crucial that she gets those 50k points. Logically, if I sign this contract with Daniel, he should use this to his gain." His eyes narrowed "But what if this is a ploy to sink me lower? Kawahara will win 45k points from Arkalee, which will put him in 4th place or somewhere there. He doesn't need to be greedy and instead he can just trick me into voting for the wrong answer in order for me to lose 20k points... I need to add a countermeasure to ensure profit." Tatsu became determined.

  "Alright, I'm in." Tatsu looked at Daniel once more "But only if you and I vote for the same answer. If we don't vote for the same answer 10 seconds before the round is about to end, then nothing will apply. Are we in agreement?" Tatsu wanted to end this conversation "Ah, clever." Yukishiro noted "Daniel can't screw him by voting for the answer that he wants then..." Yukishiro added "Uhh, no? This isn't good for Daniel at all..." Lus didn't agree "If Tatsu incorrectly votes, Daniel will lose so many points... And even if Tatsu scores right, Daniel wins nothing, it all goes to that bitch." Lus was cold "So, what do you think is going to happen?" Yukishiro made her think "Daniel will vote in the way that Tatsu will score so that Tatsu's points will go to Yulia. Ikkiri couldn't escape this opportunity to laugh it off as she saw how pissed off Arkalee was "The hell is going on..." Lus was lost amidst the havoc.

Hyunda made an annoyed expression as he fiddled with his back white hair strands "Alright, but can you?" Hyunda admitted fault "........." Ikkiri didn't reply and got up; ultimately speeding up to the vacant seat "Uh... She's going to sign it, right?" Lus confined her insecurity with Yukishiro "Yes." Yukishiro maintained a blank expression "It smells like whore in here." Ikkiri made a disgusted expression as she silently said that "I'm still not signing it by the way, but I'll hear you out." Ikkiri greeted Hyunda close-up with a condensed smile "But I need you to sign the contract." Hyunda insisted nevertheless "Oh but you can't be serious, Hyunda... You know that Kawahara just plans on----" Hyunda stopped her midway "I don't care about his plan." His white eyes didn't waver as he looked at her "And neither should you. As their small conversation went on and half of those five minutes approached, all eyes were on Lus alone and no one else.

Nobody interrupted her as if to say to go on "I want the points of every wrong answer to go to me. So if you are to incorrectly score, I want that same amount subtracted to go to my account from yours. However, I want double of those points. He remained confident nonetheless "NOBODY IS SIGNING THIS SHIT KAWAHARA!!!" Hinagiku yelled too "THAT'S RIGHT, WHAT'S THE FUCKING POINT IF ALL THE POINTS GO TO YOU?!" Tateyana joined the fray "You're out of your marbles if you think anyone is signing that shit..." Yulia decided to voice her opinion "But am I though? I feel like you lot aren't understanding what's really at stake here." Kawahara felt the need to dive deeper into the surface.

Hinagiku thought that maybe she was overlooking a few mathematical factors "If you really think it's worth it to bitch about the points I'll receive and whatnot, then maybe you ought to think about the future points that you'd be missing out by not acquiring this free contract. Because remember: the only way to get beneficial contracts is through the execution round. And for that, you need a turn in it. That's all I'm gonna say, you decide." Kawahara felt as if he had said enough and called it a day.

You guys help me and tell me HOW!!" Tateyana made Ikkiri think for a bit "I mean, it's possible." Hyunda shrugged "Then do it. Wouldn't want to waste anymore time, would you?" Ikkiri enticed him "Yeah but I wanna see what you can come up with. Go on, entertain me." Hyunda whispered to her ear "You're doing this on purpose...." She felt mildly bashful "Damn right." Hyunda grinned "Hyuuuunnnndddaaaaaaa...!!!!" Arkalee's teeth were cackling "Kawahara, if the answer you tell is correspondent to the one everyone votes for then---" Kawahara stopped her "Let me just stop you right there, Ikkiri. Kawahara reigned in control "Wait, I have an idea." Hinagiku stepped up to the challenge "Let's say that when you tell us the answer, you are then bound by a contract that states that all players with answers that are according to your answer, will give an extra 1,000 points from us to you. However, if you do the opposite, and players vote for a different answer than the one you said, then the downside is that you can't win points of those that have negatively scored." Hinagiku finished "....." Kawahara gave it some thought "Can someone to explain like I'm 5?" Tateyana humbly asked "If he doesn't lie and tells the truth and you vote for the answer he tells you, he receives 1k points." Kuzan explained "Uh uh." She listened like a little kid "If he tells the answer and let's say you don't vote for the one he says, then he won't gain your lost points." Tateyana nodded "Oh, I see." She didn't understand most of it "It's just a countermeasure to ensure that you do lose some value from lying." Hinagiku found her approach solid "Yeah, nope. Fair ass deal, nah." Kawahara brushed it off "NEXT!!!" Kawahara wasted no time ".... Hopefully someone picks up from the idea I just gave...." Hinagiku looked in Daniel's direction "Kawahara, will you accept losing any points as a consequence in a deal?" Kuzan asked him "Only if I am to win more points than those I would supposedly lose." Kawahara replied "Hear me out then." Kuzan wickedly smiled "HOOOO?!" Kawahara became aroused.

Tateyana, low on points, made her voice loud and clear "But if I score incorrectly, then Ryousuke Kawahara must amass 5k points into debt to his account." Kuzan's words were obscure "Debt?" Kawahara asked "Yeah. No need to worry about points that you can't pay, why not just shoulder some debt instead?" Kuzan proposed "Damn, that's..." Hinagiku was shocked as she didn't think about this approach "I should mention, I think that it's important to establish when you will pay such debt. It shouldn't be in this upcoming hour, how about the next?" Kuzan proposed "Kuzan, I'm not going in debt." Kawahara countered "Uh yeah, I figured. So, just don't lie about it, simple." Kuzan put on his charismatic smile "I'm not doing it." Kawahara's expression became deadly "Why not though? Do you seriously think we will all vote against you? Don't be ridiculous. That contract is mad NICE!!" Kuzan waved his fingers wildly "Don't give a shit, I don't fuck with debt. NEXT!!!" Kuzan shrugged "Goddamn it... We just need a way to bind him into saying the absolute truth...." Ikkiri was having a rough time "Hey Kawahara, how much for the right answer?" Hyunda bluntly asked "50k points." Kawahara was also blunt "Neat. So, how are you telling me the answer to me and me alone?" Hyunda was curious "Name your method." Kawahara revealed "Yeah, bullshit. You guys have at it." Hyunda gave up instantly "So much for that...." Yukishiro was disappointed.

Ikkiri felt like she cracked the code "Took you retards long enough..." Kawahara sighed "OH HOLY SHIT SO THIS IS WHAT HE MEANT!!!" Tateyana felt happy "Hurry up and divide the numbers. Yukishiro started to suck on her right nails nervously "Why is she so damn nervous...?" Lus noticed that Yukishiro was trembling slightly "Heyo hanged man, everyone's waiting! Even your girlfriend is ahead of you, that's not very manly of you!" Kawahara called out to the immovable Daniel "....." But he simply looked at Kawahara with a bored expression "You're the only one left. Or what, do you wanna say something? We still got a bit of time, after all." Kawahara suggested.

  "No, nothing." Daniel replied in a monochromatic tone "Yeah? Then call the guard." Kawahara begun to sweat a bit in the forehead "There's no need. I won't sign this contract." They were already expecting this "Oh who gives a fuck! Just do it without him! We'll divide the 50k points with the 11 of us." Tateyana suggested "Yeah, I'm not against that. Do it." Kawahara didn't think too deeply into Daniel's inactivity "4,545 points per person." Kuzan alerted them "It's still so much..." Hinagiku noted "It really is, isn't it?" Daniel replied to her from afar "......" Hinagiku looked at Daniel with suspicious eyes "Come on, we don't got all day." Only Hinagiku, Lus, and Yulia hadn't proposed the contract yet "What do you mean by that..." Hinagiku asked Daniel "Hm? It means what it means. 4,545 of your points for a guarantee that's not even a complete guarantee. And if you fail to score, you will lose an additional 768 points. 5313 of your points down the gutter." Daniel reminded her "But I'll achieve the contract, Daniel. That's far more worth it." Hinagiku argued "If you say so." Daniel left it at that "Girly, pay him no mind. He's just trying to stir confusion for his own gain." Kawahara chuckled "True. I'm just fucking around. Sign the contracts already." Daniel chuckled as well "Go on, Yulia." Daniel ordered "...." And likewise, so did Lus albeit far more reluctantly.

  "Never heard nor met the guy before. Also this plastic surgery shit is getting out of hand, I was always like this! You know, smoking hot and fucking gorgeous." Kawahara was met with apathetic faces "So it's a no?" Lus asked "It's a no." Kawahara affirmed "You're serious, right? If you like you don't get those 50k points." Hinagiku asked "YEAH I'M FUCKING SERIOUS WHY THE FUCK WOULD I DOUBLE DOWN ON FREE 50K POINTS WHEN I WILL ALSO GET THE POINTS FROM YOUR CORRECT CLAIMS?! DON'T BE RETARDED AND JUST VOTE YES!!" Kawahara's shout was imperial "Yeah it just doesn't make any sense for him to be lying here... He will gain 50k points. She asked as she looked at Daniel transiently "He has something planned. He always has..." Lus replied mysteriously "Right. But what? What do you think?" Yukishiro was wearing a heavy expression "Don't ask me that, you know that I don't know what the hell he's thinking... It's probably something to trick Tatsu into voting incorrectly." Lus remarked "If he correctly votes, then 20k of his points will be transferred to Yulia. If he doesn't, then Daniel and Yulia will have to collectively give him 50k points." Lus gulped "I have no idea what's going to happen in this last minute......" She added "Besides, they agreed to vote for the same answer....." Lus' eyes followed to where Daniel was "Tatsu, let's do this. I'll go." Daniel looked in Tatsu's direction and said that "Yeah." Daniel got up and begun to walk "Wait, what's happening again?" Tateyana turned her neck around as she saw Daniel walk by "Tatsu loses nothing if he scores incorrectly. Kawahara didn't lie so all he has to do is vote yes in this scenario. He will lose all of his points to Arkalee but will receive those points through the contract. Daniel fucked up." Hinagiku thought ".....Is what I would usually think but there's no way he would let it go like this. He made the contract with Tatsu because he is sure that Tatsu will vote correctly. Yet how does he plan to go about it...?" She wondered as she held her vote, like many others "Just to confirm, what I will vote, is what you will vote. Therefore, once I'm done voting, that's that." Tatsu didn't move away from his chair as Daniel was behind his chair "It's as stated as in the contract. What you vote, I will have to mandatorily vote for, otherwise the contract will not apply." Daniel said "Yes." Tatsu then entered a state of deep thought.

  "Let's go over this one more time. I have to incorrectly score because this way Daniel and Yulia will have to give 50k points to me which will nullify the contract that I have with Arkalee. Kawahara said that the answer is no. All lost and won points will go to him at the end of this round due to the contracts...." Tatsu looked at the ladderboard briefly "Lus will gain 1,536 points but doubled due to her contract, therefore: 3,072 points. I will win 1,056 points which if doubled is: 2,112. Kuzan by the same logic will win the double of his usual points: 1,536 points. Hinagiku: 768 points. Arkalee: 768 points. Hyunda: 768 points. Daniel: 1,536 points. Ikkiri: 1,920 points. Kanawari: 1,536 points. Tateyana: 768 points. Yukishiro: 768 points. And Yulia: 768 points. In total, this accumulates to 12,864 points. Kawahara will gain that alone just based on the two contracts that he imposed. He currently has 9,017 points. Those added to 12,864 is 21,881. That by itself puts him ahead of Yulia. But that's not all. We all agreed to give him an extra 50k points in exchange for the answer which will only apply if the answer Kawahara has voted for is correspondent to the ones we vote for. Everyone here wants the contract and it makes no logical sense to vote against it because you are just losing points with nothing to gain at that point." He covered his mouth with his right hand "71,881 points by the end of this. He will be third place, having overcame Kuzan. At this point, I think that what Ikkiri said about Arkalee giving Kawahara all of her points in return is utter nonsense. There is no way that Arkalee would agree to something that stupid. The plan wasn't to use Arkalee as a piggy bank in order for her to transfer Kawahara enough points to where he could be in a safe position while Arkalee would also be safe with a relatively sufficient margin of points. No, the real plan was to actually get where we are now and have Arkalee harness points for herself and for us to think that there was some sort of compensation going on. Reality is, Arkalee has won points through Kawahara and now Kawahara is about to go from the bottom to almost the top. There's no doubt about it..." Tatsu looked at Kawahara momentarily "For someone who hasn't played this game before, this is incredibly well thought out. However... If he can do something like this in the blink of an eye then is there a world where he made all of this up just to see me incorrectly vote? It's ridiculous to assume that he did because he will lose out on 50k points. But what if? What if there is a way to profit off from this?" Tatsu continued to reflect "Tatsu." Daniel called him out from behind.

Therefore, she will get the answer right and gain the contract to herself. Arkalee will lose 768 points to Kawahara by the end of this, so her points in total will be 44,608. She will have the contract, however, every time she breaks the point barrier, those points are transferred to me. In a sense, for as long as I am around and for as long as she is able to keep on scoring and eventually break her point barrier, I am ultimately the one who benefits. The only way to break free from this is for me to have a gigantic gap between my points and my points barrier, but also for her points to be extremely low and the gap of her point barrier to be---" Tatsu's eyes widened rapidly "OH SHIT. Oh fuck." He began to sweat profoundly while trying to maintain his poker face "That's it... Her plan is to actually deplete all of her points and give them all to Kawahara so she goes to the center and I am left with an abysmal gap between my points and my points barrier...!! She aims for me to give all of the points I owe her back to herself and to transfer them to Kawahara just before the execution round begins. They will do it at the very last second or something too, a contract for her to give all of her points to Kawahara so she also doesn't have to give any to Lus... In other words... Kawahara lied. He aims to trick me into voting incorrectly because he will not only trick everyone here but by that logic, I will also have to forfeit my own points this way since I would vote incorrectly. However..." Tatsu now looked at Daniel who was carefully observing Tatsu all this time "Tatsu, are you done thinking?" Daniel asked "...." Tatsu remained silent "You seem not... Listen, how about I tell you the real answer? Would you be interested in listening?" Daniel proposed "No, you want to get me to vote correctly so I will have to transfer my points to Yulia." Tatsu rebooked "Well... You have a point. That is what I want. So, are you done? We have almost half minute. I want to vote when there are 20 seconds left." Daniel gave Tatsu the ultimatum "Give me 10 seconds then to make the final decision." Tatsu said and Daniel nodded affirmatively.

  "He will do anything to make sure that Yulia gets those points. It's his entire gamble. So why isn't he doing anything? Is he seriously that confident that I will score correctly? The right answer is yes, supposedly, because it is what enables Kawahara to follow through with the plan that will leave me with an absurd point barrier gap. If I vote yes though, and it's the correct answer then Yulia will receive 20k of my points. But then... I actually will play into what Daniel has planned." Tatsu's eyes narrowed with suspicion "I have to vote correctly? I actually have to not give Arkalee those points? No, that's absurd. There is no fucking evidence that this all part of Kawahara's plan and even if it was, you mean to tell me that he KNOWS?! That can't be right... No, but it would explain why he hasn't done anything! If Daniel was truly serious about me voting correctly then he would strike a deal with me to ensure that Yulia doesn't end in the bottom." Tatsu then turned around and decided to talk with Daniel as the clock was ticking "Why haven't you tried to strike a deal with me to ensure that I vote correctly?" He asked "Because you will." Daniel quickly replied calmly "You stand to win more should you correctly answer. You will keep your points. You will gain the contract. All you will lose is a couple of 20k or so points but you get to keep your lead still. Whereas in if you vote incorrectly, though you will gain 50k points from me and Yulia, you will be fucked in the long run." Tatsu gulped "He knows..." He acknowledged "Though your points won't change, you will lose around 6k points. You won't gain a contract. Arkalee will use her points in a way that will drown you. You will never win points off her because she will be the one at the center of the judgment execution round." Tatsu intercepted his reasoning "Not if Yulia is instead." His expression became rigid "Do that if you want." Daniel shrugged and refused to further elaborate "........." Tatsu remained skeptical "Tell me the answer and your reasoning. You said you knew the answer." Tatsu stated "Factual. I do know the answer." Daniel affirmed "Very well. The true answer is no. Matvey Almatorav does exist but Kawahara has never been associated with him. This is because the Kawahara that you are looking at, is not actually Kawahara." Tatsu was confused "His real name is Izayoi Daku. His association with Matvey Almatorav happened when he was Daku but after the surgery, he was placed elsewhere far away from him." Daniel told "But then he has ties with Almatorav!" Tatsu countered "No, that's Daku. Kawahara has no ties to him. That was him under a different identity. It's not the same, that's the tricky part." Tatsu saw how there were 19 seconds left "How?" He just wanted to know the nature of the answer "I know his entire life. I saw it on the island. I know his entire life from birth to this precise moment. That was how I scored throughout the round whenever I wanted to. Come on. You must've found it strange." Daniel smiled a little bit "He did fucking score too much randomly. It adds up..." Tatsu acknowledged that much.

  "Alright, let's vote." Tatsu made his decision "No way I'm buying that bullshit, I'll just stick to the theory instead. I'll vote no because though I will not correctly score, Daniel and Yulia will have to give me 50k points. Otherwise if I vote yes and correctly score, Arkalee will drown me. She will attempt to drown me still but I will not lose an extra 20k points in the process." Tatsu pressed the "no" option "I see..." Daniel let out an exasperated sigh "Alright." Daniel withdrew instantly and decided to go back to his seat "....." Tatsu kept looking at Daniel as he went to his seat "So fucking weird... To the very end, he tried absolutely nothing..." Tatsu tapped his right hand index finger in his desk's surface "I did the right decision. Yes." He assured himself "No use in overthinking it. It will be nothing that will majorly effect me." Tatsu rested his eyes, meanwhile as Daniel was about to go to his seat, he was met with Hinagiku, who was patiently waiting for his return just in the area before his seat "Daniel, I have---" Daniel moved fast in her direction and towered her instantly with a wicked grin "Fantastic, you're just the one I was looking for...!!" Hinagiku was caught by surprise as she looked at him.

  "Wanna know the answer?" Daniel said as there were 13 seconds left "Yes...." She didn't hide it "Alright. Let me give you 10k of my points to you then. Think of it as interest." Daniel immediately said "..." Hinagiku's eyes widened and instead of trying to question it, she decided to not waste time "Under what condition?" She asked "I must get those 10k points next round, at the very start. That's it." Daniel explained "....Fine... I'll make the contract...." Hinagiku was skeptical "I so want to know why he seems ultra desperate but there's literally no time plus 10k points right now is exactly what I need to break the point barrier since I haven't given any points to Kawahara yet as his contracts only apply when the ladderboard updates...!!" While it does seem like a logical investment, this had to be planned, because she exhausted almost 12k of her points. But this is the weird part... If his plan was to never give me back those 50k points, then this alone would suffice. Because by this point, the points they had to give me was a mere 48k combined. It is never enough. But I already knew this because if he did this, then Yulia would automatically stay at the bottom, which was the entire fucking point....!!!!" Tatsu's poker face broke "HEY WHAT'S WRONG TATSUUUUU!?!? YOU'RE SO QUIET!!!!! COME ON, YOU JUST LOST 100K POINTS AND DROPPED DOWN TO FIFTH PLACE!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" If she thinks that I am screwed beyond recovery due to my point barrier gap, then she's sorely mistaken. So, this leaves the question: what is he to gain from this? Kawahara walked towards the right direction as the guards carried Arkalee to the center as she couldn't stop laughing at Tatsu "I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOUR DOWNFALL EVEN WHEN I DIE!!!" Arkalee further taunted him "If you even die, that is." Tatsu's words ceased Arkalee's laughter ".......????" Tatsu had suddenly a mischievous look on his face "Oi, oi..." Hyunda sighed "I know she has a total of zero fucking points, but she has to die. Otherwise the players with actual points can't be killed." Hyunda told Tatsu.

  The shackled Arkalee didn't take this lightly.

  "HYUNDA, STOP TALKING LIKE I'M GOING TO DIE!!! YOU WILL SAVE ME!!!" Arkalee smiled in a hysterical way "As much as it sucks to admit, a zero point pig like you has to die." Kuzan agreed with Hyunda "Hyunda...." Arkalee calmed down a bit and talked back to him "Tatsu, what did you mean by that though? Are you suggesting that there's merit to keeping her alive? Because remember, it's not as if you can swap players anymore, Kuzan got rid of that option. Once you're in the center, you're done for." Hyunda reminded him "I know.   It was, nevertheless, the end of the judgment round and as such, Basara had a few announcements to make.

  "ENOUGH BICKERING, BITCHES!!!" Basara's voice was loud as usual "LUS SERA!!!" Basara smiled demonically towards her; making her nervous in the process "IN THE LAST ROUND, AT THE END OF IT, YOU HAD A MERE 17792 POINTS!!!
