Chapter 85: Brandon's Sufferings.
Faith watched with glee as Celia pummeled the Higher God without a single drop of mercy. Soon, they, Brandon and Celia, were bloody.
Celia: “Strange…” She voiced, confused.
Brandon: “Why… why are you d-doing this to me?” He asked, defeated, only able to speak after Celia seemed to take a break, giving him some reprieve to spit out blood.
The Higher God didn’t understand this at all. Yes, this was a death game, but these two weren’t trying to kill him. This was blatant torture, and Brandon, as someone who… was decently good for a Higher Being, his mind was racing. He didn’t know Faith nor Celia; yet he was beaten by them like Brandon was some ancient evil, whom they had a grudge on.
Celia: “Why aren’t you vanishing?” She finally spoke, tilting her head.
Brandon: “W-what?…” He weakly replied.
Faith: “Oh, Celia! Maralia is the one who can make someone forcefully forfeit the Game.” She informed.
Brandon and Celia: “(~OAO)”
Celia, funnily enough, wasn’t told about this at all. In truth, she was only punching Brandon until he was forced out of the game. Last time, she nearly killed her opponent, and he ended up living, but still leaving the Game.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
So, for three hours, Celia tortured Brandon, mostly confused as to why things were different this time around. The man pleaded for forgiveness many times, and even verbally forfeited a lot...
Celia: “Faith… how come you didn’t tell me this? And… why is it that Brandon is still in the Game?” She asked, healing and cleaning herself, as well as the Higher God.
Faith: “Hm? Because… you covered in the blood of your enemies… is amazingly arousing, you know? We can kiss, but not have sex, so I have to cherish such moments dearly when I have the chance.” She nonchalantly answer, her tone tinged with a giggle and coquettishness.
Brandon: “…” “Oh…” He deadpanly expressed in his mind.
Celia: “And Maralia… why is it that she didn’t make Brandon forfeit?” She continued.
Now certain that he wouldn’t be killed, Brandon relaxed, and lied on the ground like a salted fish.
Faith: “Because I told her not to do so. Eh, since you’ve gotten bored, we can end this.” She replied with a shrug.
In the next second, the Higher God vanished, just like how Celia saw with her last opponent from early. Sighing deeply, Celia felt her mind in pain.
Celia: “Please… be more serious, Faith.” She pleaded dearly.
Faith: “That would severely go against my nature, dear.” She denied with a haughty tone.
Celia: “…”
Until now, Celia always endured, or rather, she didn’t really care about Faith’s antics. To her, it was just a cute trait. Now her full self, the woman could barely handle Faith’s craziness.
Unfortunately, for Faith’s amusement, Celia had just beaten a man bloody for several hours. Thankfully, Celia didn’t really enjoy the act, so at least she knew that… it wasn’t like she had fully gone insane and lost her humanity completely.
