Chapter 86: Sluggish.
Faith: “…”
Celia: “I’ll be fine in a minute…” She said with a forced smile.
Shortly after dealing with Brandon, Celia and Faith just casually walked through the forest. At first, Faith just assumed that her future wife wanted to do a small stroll with her. Which she was overjoyed about.
Of course, this wasn’t the case at all. Just beating up a Higher God… took most of Celia’s strength. As she watched her beloved holding onto a tree, looking deeply ill, Faith regretted relishing in the arousal that fight gave her.
Celia: “It isn’t your fault, dear. I still haven’t adjusted to what I can, and cannot do just yet.” She said with a coaxing tone.
Rather than blame Faith, Celia was more of just upset with herself. She wasted too much energy brutalizing Brandon, and Celia felt like an idiot. She didn’t use that opportunity to test her current limits, and now Celia was unable to even walk, gaining practically nothing from that fight.
Maralia: “You have… lost your existence. I can’t believe I haven’t noticed until now…” She said with a sad tone, leaving depressed.
Faith: “…No…” Was all she could get out.

Celia: “My existence?” She repeated, confused.
Runey: “Simply put, you’re no longer Human.” She said with a giggle.
At this, Celia was just further confused. On top of that, the woman is getting tired of seeing her wives seemingly already mourning for her. Sure, she is sick now, but Celia knew that her death wasn’t going to happen that quickly, or anytime soon.
Celia: “Well, of course. I am a Highest Goddess.” She replied with a head tilt, even though Runey didn’t have a physical body, and was merely a voice.
Runey: “Yes, but, even Higher Beings have their existence tied to… existence. In every Higher Being, there exists their original, mortal form, and ties.” She clarified.
Maralia: “Without it, they truly don’t ever exist.” She added.
Celia: “…” “What exactly does any of that even mean?” She thought, further confused.
Faith: “You two… are just confusing her even more!” She angrily exclaimed.
Realizing that Celia wasn’t at peak headspace right now, Runey explained in more detail. Basically, since she was no longer recorded as a being of this Universe, Celia was sick.
Typically, this would be a good and rare thing. After all, it meant that Celia very well had the potential to travel to different Universes, not tied to any one of them.
Though, with no connection… this means that Celia is on her own. Even if the Will valued her, it couldn’t give Celia existence. This was all on her own merits now, mainly, her Divinity is the source of her existence.
Maralia: “Our solution… was wrong.” She said, hiding her voice so that only Faith can hear.
Faith: “It isn’t that grim, we just have to give her some use of her Divinity.” She replied with an unbothered tone.
In the end, Faith’s bewilderment only lasted for a short while. Using Magic to knock Celia out, the two then readjusted their seal, giving their wife a maximum of 5% of her total Divinity.
