"I need somethin in the desert, preferably mobile and regal enough to motivate an invasion of Weistrana. Either something absolutely knightly or edgy as hell. You got something for me?"
"What about those mummy people, or the Marga?"
He asked, the systems answer immediately prompted for him.
"I don't want to be a stationary species, and becoming an arachnoid is out of the question, at least until I stop thinking of that centipede beast. I won't be some short live cat folk, leaving poisonous frog people as my only option. An option I think suits me. System, Make me a Larv."
And thus, he became a Larv. He soon realized that his body was not at all froglike. It was similar to that of a stereotypical lizard man, if you stripped away the scales and put an Amphibians skin above it. As he wondered how he was going to consume nutrients, he realized small frills in his skin.
"System, they live under water, right? Get me... that handycap."
"Give me an absolutely average height, and the lowest weight I can get."
"Now, I have a weight of 34 kg, and not enough glide skin to properly fly with it... system, I am already incapable of touching sunlight, as it evaporates the protective skin. Can you explain that procedure to me?"
"So... I am basically a blob of poison that dries once it stops touching water, putting me as the center of a venomous cloud? And how exactly do I eat without a mouth, and how am I talking right now?"
It took him a while to figure it out, but once he realized how to utilize the frills it came naturally. Vibrate them to produce sound, open them to filter the nutrients out of the mucus. Until he cleansed the mucus in this way, it would grow continuously more toxic.
"Great... now I need to adjust to assimilating food, but that should be ok."
As he closed the frills, his skin returned to the perfectly smooth surface he saw first, though he felt himself suffocate until he reopened them.
"Can you make my venom into some type of undead shroom or something?"
"Now that's what I was hoping for. Get me something cosmetic that helps me change my skin colour."
"Now I need something that makes it harder for people to not pay attention to me, something for the epic monologues and everything."
"That's the stuff that damned centipede used, maybe I can use it better than she did."
"You know what? Can you make it that my body regenerates?"
"Shit... give me some handycap that fits the build. No sense giving this up."
"This is absolutely suspicious. What are the hidden effects?"
The following silence reminded him that hidden effects wouldn't exactly be hidden if the system announced them.
"Thanks, I guess? Name me Jeolas, put the remaining token in willpower and intuition."
